A typical day at work is answering back to back calls and being rushed to answer the next call. Breaks sometimes being shortened. Lunch sometimes being taken late. Unable to do follow-up calls due to so many new calls and not enough CSRs. I loved the team, but supervisors were either inexperienced as far as dealing with a team, micro-managers, or nonchalant. Loved working from home, but had to work in pain as they were unconcerned about my health. 

I have been working at MedWatch full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros: Diverse group of employees and a lot of knowledge within the company. Some positions are work from home which is a huge plus. Management and coworkers are supportive and usually available to help or to run ideas by if you have questions or just need another opinion.

Cons: Collaboration and communication between departments needs to continue to improve (it is better than it was in the past but still needs improvement).

Advice to Management
Keep listening to employees and making the changes that you have been (based on internal suggestions and company wide growth).

The company continues to grow and new positions are added regularly. The management team makes every attempt to promote from within and recognizes employees for their hard work and diligence. Most employees can work remotely (from home). This is a huge benefit as it saves both time and money that would be spent on commuting and other costs associated with going to an office. This allows me to have more family time and better work/life balance.

Medwatch is a massive growing company that provides a warm friendly place of work. I personally enjoyed the personal interactions you have with patient and clients. It is difficult to navigate time as this is a very busy and fast paced company and when you work multiple jobs can be a bit stressful for some individuals.

A small medical management company struggling in a competitive market. As the company is struggling and the owners trying to stay competitive, they are losing sight of what keeps a company competitive.  The employees are not compensated well for the amount of work they produce. 



No structure, they get new companies and expect us to take the new calls with no training. Fake it till you make it is practically what they tell you.  Management is form with  group of friends, and if one of them don’t like you, they will make your life miserable.

Close quarters but comfortable. Flexibility to work from home a couple days a week. As long as you can work and keep on track with your work duties you are fine.

The job is nice. Love the people I work with. Love that their is remote opportunity. They provide your equipment for you. They offer a great benefits. The opportunity to advance in the company. Always learning something every day.

Preauthorization of procedures, initial and concurrent reviews, referrals to Physician advisors, using MCG criteria to perform reviews. Daily updates.

Terrible experience !! Management is clique Pay and benefits are horrible No incentives many days were overwhelming didn't seem like they cared unless you kiss up to management
