The contract that I worked was the school district one. There was a bunch of tomfoolery going on. The first piece was the lack of communication with the school district completely and the constant fumbling of policies. I was never even told about my termination, which was not on bad terms, until 48 hours after the terminations were supposedly handed out. Upper management is completely out of touch with what happens at these sites and did not even try to negotiate as far as I am concerned, or if they did, they did a very poor job at it. The second piece is the schools chosen for employees to head to, as there are plenty of schools around the district and yet there were multiple people having to drive absurd mileage with literal zero compensation, even though it was in the job description that mileage would be compensated for. For example, I live near three-four high schools all within a 15 minute drive, and yet I was placed at schools across town. The school district hired too many people and would not let Medasource proceed without hiring the absurd amount of people they requested. Within six weeks, they fired 75% of the contractors due to "overstaffing" concerns, which is just negligent. The job itself was so easy that literally high school students could do it, so the complaints that they hired unqualified individuals is unwarranted to be polite. According to what I have heard/deduced, there was literally zero criteria for those that were kept and was completely random. The complaints about people not working were completely true, but there was hardly any work to do.  I do not blame Medasource, and would like to do more contracts with them. 

The only plus about my current contract position is I am remote. 
I have been with the company as a contracted employee now for over 3 years. In that 3 years I have been told I accrued PTO, each and every time that I have tried to use the hours there has been a sudden change in my PTO availability or I don’t actually have what they said I had. My recruiter never responds and when she does respond she doesn’t seem to know anything.
Of all the contacted employers I have worked for they are the lowest paying. Recent contracts we have been left alone with the client and treated as internal teammates with that hospital. The job demand is unattainable and or micromanaged. Coworkers who I have been with for years are being left high and dry with no support or job after being told if a contract doesn’t work for them they would move them to a new position. Some of these coworkers had been with the company for years beyond me. Close family and friends get the jobs before others. It is not a fair work environment.
It is pretty apparent at this point that they do not care about their contracted workers.

Three weeks before my contract was set to expire, I was informed that it would be renewed. However, the communication throughout this process was severely lacking. The notification came at the last minute, leaving me in a state of uncertainty and anxiety about my future with the company. It felt as though my contributions and commitment were taken for granted, with little regard for how this lack of timely communication could impact my plans. Additionally, there was no effort to discuss or address any potential changes or improvements to the contract, which made me feel undervalued. The entire experience highlighted a significant disconnect between management and staff, where the basic courtesy of keeping employees informed and involved in important decisions was neglected. This left me questioning the company's overall commitment to its employees and their well-being. The experience was disheartening and has made me reconsider my future with this organization.

The job itself was simple, and paid extremely well for the work we were doing.

However, the people we worked with had nothing to do with Medasource. Medasource is essentially a Temp Agency, and communication with them was pretty bad at times. I ended up finding out that my contract for the job was up at the end of the week only because I texted them to find out. I don't believe I would've known unless I reached out myself.

Three others at the same place working with Medasource all found out our contracts were ending because I told them. One of the people I worked with had only been able to speak to their agent once over two months because they wouldn't respond.

All in all - They pay well, and the pay is negotiable. They just have to get their ducks in a row when it comes to communicating.

The only thing that is good about the company is that they pay well and the actual work is not bad. Everything else is extremely bad. Extremely rude management teams. Always take managements side even when accused falsely. Have to bend over backwards to keep your job even after showing proof that something against you was false.  Punished by being forced to do unpaid retraining, even after it was proven that you did not do the false accusation. Extreme punishments for tiny mistakes. No trust towards employees. Constantly threatening to hold back pay for any technological issues. This Company has no care for their employees.

Grew a ton over the last couple years and sometimes I wonder if it was too much. Our young sales team is just that, young and inexperienced. They continue to promote the good AEs which leaves the delivery team high and dry. Most days recruiters are double and tripled up on job openings instead of the 1 recruiter to 1 job opening it used to be. 

Management seems to be going backwards instead of forwards in terms of culture. Most other companies have embraced the hybrid or remote culture, knowing it’s better for work-life balance, yet management continues to change our policy around it. They’ve now gone from 2 days remote to 1 which feels like a punishment.

You can learn a lot and make good money, but you can also do that with other companies who value the employees more. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The recruiter seemed to be a nice person. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The client company kept changing the contract and Medasource just did whatever they said with no regard for how it affected the contracted employees. We were hired for 3 month to permanent contract and at the end we were told, "oops that's actually 6 months, not 3."

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Whatever the client company says, goes. Very very little interaction with Medasource after the hiring process.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Constantly changing our assignment.  4 months in and we were doing something completely different than what we applied for.

They hired over 100 people more than they should have and then abruptly fired all of us on the same day. I quit my full time job for this job. Just to get fired a month after starting. Completely unprofessional! They even kept people that DO NOT have medical backgrounds instead of the people with actual experience. I’ve been in the medical field for 10 years and never been fired until today. They don’t have any organization, the locations have no shift manager so the employees do whatever they want. Some of them don’t even work. I found that I consistently picked up others slack and all for nothing because I still got abruptly fired.

There is no PTO time or vacation days available for you to use. Company/recruiter promised me decent benefits and upon enrollment benefits package was completely different (even checked to a diff. Ins company!!) I never know when my recruiter is actually going to respond to my questions and concerns. And even though I signed a contract to work, job security is nonexistent because the company can break the contract anytime they feel like. Was definitely not the thr job it was painted out to be! People working beside of me for the same 
 contract but with a different company also paid $10+ more an hour! When I ask to speak with/or who my supervisor is at Medasource, my questions are completely ignored and diverted. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Company exploits any employee that presents exemplary skills. Overworks then and underpays them. Once they drain any innovated ideas from their employee, they deny them the recognition for their dedication and service then fire them or offer them a lower pay scale position.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unorganized scheduling from Not the account scheduling manager. 
Being chased or threatened by another employee and they still let that person work due to lack of staff.  Unfair practices 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very stressful, employees have not rights, not even to be sick or lunch
