-The work there is challenging.   Meaning that it is one of the hardest places I have ever had to work.
-The facility itself is not clean
-The equipment is old and faulty, to the point where there is a drawer of old equipment that previous techs have said is bad, but management says "It probably still works.. (the person who previously tested it) doesn't know what they are doing"  The patients are simply a means to bill the insurance. 
- 3 patients a night, scoring, in a 10 hour shift, cleaning rooms and making beds.
-I came on board after a mass exodus of staffing.   Prior to them all leaving, they had complained to management about some concerns.   They had already taken a pay cut when medbridge took over management of the lab, yet stayed due to loyalty to the regional manager.   However their concerns of equipment and patient care caused them to raise concerns.   HR came in from out of town, pulled everyone in for a meeting, where the staff addressed their concerns.  HR's response "If it is so bad, why are you all still here?!?!?"   The next week, most of the staff left.


This is a management company who cares about money and the bottom line more than the patients and the technologists who work for them.  

The equipment we use is old and out dated. This directly affected patient care and in some cases increased the amount of money our patients had to pay. Another problem we had is that this company would have minor children interpret for their adult parent patients. I found both of these acts morally reprehensible. 

The most stressful part of this job was when they regularly scheduled 3 complex or severe patients in one night for one technologist. They would consistently put me in dangerous situations when working alone. It was a common occurrence to leave work crying and stressed out.

When you would bring these (and other) issues to the upper management, they would get overly defensive and threaten to write you up and in some cases threaten to fire you. They do not have an open door policy and do not work with you. They like to rule with fear and intimidation. There are no  raises at this company either. I had not had a raise since 2019. 

The true lack of communication from management is appalling. They are never available for their employees, which robs the team of its focus, diluting the overall quality of their output. Misunderstandings and mistakes are not discussed or explained promptly, if ever, causing them to continue unjustly against the employee until a verbal or even written action is taken against them without any warning. Many of the managers were unable to clarify points, so their employees are left even more confused and frustrated than when they started. Profitability does not just happen magically, as my manager seemed to believe. It requires attentive employees who know what management expects them to accomplish, and transparent objectives provide that direction. But objectives were never explained or provided, even after numerous conversations requesting them from team leads and management. This leads to confusion and frustration, causing a lot of my coworkers and even myself to underperform even when trying our best.

I’m very disappointed with this company. As much work that is expected out of you for the little bit of money that they pay you. You leave work everyday jittery and wanting to scream. They don’t listen to your ideas when you’re the one that is completing the work everyday. Instead you have a rude supervisor who walks around all day micromanaging you and making everyone feel as if they are in Kindergarten. She talks to you like you’re a child! They continue to add more and more to your day, and expect you to do it. Collections should have it’s own department, we shouldn’t have to do that on top of cleaning every single device that comes in that door and then we have to prep them to go back out the same day. Overall just a really big disappointment for us. Very poor management skills. If you’re looking for a good career where you can pay your bills and take care of home, this is not it at all.

Management is so unprofessional

 Management doesn't know who's on the same page they're all over the place chaotic.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Communication, better onboard training , you try to contact all day management, never answer constant problem. And then when you're at work on your shift busy with patients then they want to call you and talk to you at night and when you can't and you call them back they don't pick up their phone they're sleeping

Frustrating very very frustrating.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When I arrive at work and there's no report and you do the best you can but that's never good enough

Horrible place to work. Unclear training process. Job functions added every day. Poor management commutation. You are thrown to the wolves. They want you to help patients w/o clear knowledge on what you are doing then blame you! Patient Services Representatives hold the worst position here they do not train on everything this position needs. If you are not familiar with insurance as far as approvals or denials you will be tossed in like a deer in headlights no formal training in that either. Overall the company is a joke I don’t know how they even keep their open contracts!

This is not a typical healthcare company where the most important quality is providing top-notch healthcare while taking care of its employees.  Medbridge will sacrifice the quality of their sleep studies to save a dollar as long as the results meet the minimum requirements in quality.  They don't give raises and they cut their employees pay by offering less benefits year-after-year.  High level employees and board members make big money for very little effort, while the opposite is required of everyone else.  Bad, bad culture.

When people cancel appointments close to the end of the day for same day sleep studies and trying to fill the spots

Very low key, friendly, family oriented

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Scheduling and rescheduling sleep studies. Reviewing clinical notes to determine sleep study eligibility per insurance guidelines

I had a wonderful experience. They have a support line that you can call when you need assistance with a sleep study. I was an experienced CRT with no sleep experience prior to being hired. Medbridge trained me for appropriately 3 weeks and I felt confident enough to monitor a study on my own. There was a support line available as mentioned earlier to log live to reciew my study questions. answer questions and als

The ability to work from home was great, but the company enforced micromanagement to the point that we had to start documenting everything we did to account for our time. I was scared to get up and go use the bathroom. The benefits are not great and the management treats you like children. Also, you would think that someone who works in human resources would actually care about humans, but HR couldn't care less about you. It was one of the worst job experiences I've ever had in my life, and I'm glad I'm out of there.
