A Typical Day at Work: Involves managing a diverse caseload, drafting pleadings and motions, engaging in settlement negotiation and preparing upcoming depositions or hearings. There's a strong focus on client communication and ensuring that each case is moving forward efficiently. Balancing court deadlines with case strategy meetings and ongoing client updates is key to a productive day. 

What I Believe I Have Learned and Continue to Learn: I've gained invaluable experience in personal injury litigation, from the initial intake process to trial preparation. I've learned how to efficiently manage cases, think critically in legal strategy, and negotiate settlements to maximize outcomes for clients. Working with experienced attorneys has also sharpened my skills in litigation, particularly when it comes to drafting motions, discovery, and oral advocacy. 

Management: The management at Megeredchian Law is supportive and focused on developing its associates. They provide mentorship and are always available for guidance, whether it's related to a challenging case or personal career development. There's an emphasis on accountability and independence, but management remains hands-on when necessary, ensuring associates have the resources they need to succeed. 

Workplace Culture: The firm fosters a collaborative and fact-paced environment. Colleagues are eager to help one another, and there's a real team spirit, especially when it comes to complex cases. While the workload can be intense, there's also a shared sense of purpose and commitment to securing the best outcomes for out clients. 

The Hardest Part of the Job: The most challenging aspect of working at Megeredchian Law is balancing the high demands of multiple cases at once. The deadlines can be tight, and the work requires attention to detail under pressure. However, this also contributes to personal growth and improved time management skills. 

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job: The most enjoyable part is the sense of achievement that comes from helping clients resolve their cases and seeing the positive impact of our efforts. Knowing that we've made a difference in someone's life, whether through a favorable settlement or successful litigation outcome, is incredibly rewarding. Additionally, the opportunities for learning and development in such a dynamic environment make the work fulfilling. 

I've been with Megeredchian Law now (thanks to Indeed) for just a little over a year and it has been an amazing opportunity for me. I've been in the field for 6 years, yet I've learned more at Megeredchian Law in the year I've been here, than I did at any of the other firms. The learning I received here made me truly understand my role and this field. The managing attorney and HR have been very flexible with me and my schedule as I live far away. I've had a few family emergencies and medical emergencies that they've not only given me the grace to have time off for (or even work from home so I don't stress about falling behind) but they've also checked in to make sure I was doing okay. Usually, when employers say "it's like a family here" I think RUN AWAY because 9/10 that means it's a toxic environment, but that hasn't been the case here. They have treated me like family, helped me grow and learn a lot, and keep encouraging me to grow further so I can keep down the road in my career I've discussed with them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a position in the field. Anyone who says they haven't learned a lot here is either lying, or wasn't paying attention. 

As a trial attorney it is my job to oversee a multitude of cases and to help direct newer litigation associates in the negotiations and strategy for resolving cases as effectively yet efficiently as possible.  The entire staff in the litigation department are intelligent, eager to learn, and truly act as a team.  Everyone here is willing to help out when needed.  There is a fantastic culture of comradery.  People are much more willing to help each other and learn new skills than to argue or be petty.  Management has done a fantastic job of instilling pride in their employees and also reward them accordingly. For me personally, I get the most enjoyment from being able to help guide newer attorneys,  and to see their excitement at the results.   It is also the first time I have been at a firm where I have a peer who is also a trial attorney.  He is a fantastic lawyer and someone  who  brings a lot of trial skills to the firm.   Being able to collaborate on cases with him is fantastic. 

Huge disconnect between the different departments and a sense of tension between pre-litigation and litigation. Management has their favorites. As a new employee it was difficult to get help or answers to questions as the supervisor was often either busy or on "do not disturb", yet the second you do something wrong they're calling you out. During my first month, our team was called into the supervisor's office and yelled/cussed at, and told we should re-consider working there if we don't want to follow procedure. Pay attention to the pay range listed in the job posting or they'll cheat you out of it and pay you less than the range for the position. Also, confirm during your interview that you'll get PTO because the job announcement mentions you do, but once you start HR and management will tell you otherwise. Seems the favoritism comes to play when it comes to offering PTO. 

I was nervous on my first day as most people would be but was welcomed with open arms by the team. The supervisors and management are extremely helpful and patient with any questions you may have. The days fly by and my first year here has been the most pleasant year I have had at any job.  I learned so much in a short amount of time and the possibilities for growth at the firm are endless. I also appreciate how advanced the office is with technology and supplies which allows me to smoothly complete my tasks. It's a great feeling when your hard work doesn't go unnoticed and the managing attorney as well as the rest of the management at the firm make sure there isn't a single day that goes by that you don't feel appreciated.

I came to Megeredchian Law worn down by my prior firm, and was welcomed into an environment where I was reminded of my worth and trained to be an even better professional in my field than I ever imagined. I know I have job security and have value here, and many firms do not remember to instill this into their employees. Most only care if you come into their firm KNOWING vs actually TEACHING new skills and processes. I have been here 3 years as of this month and see myself here long term 100%. Great job/great clients/great money/great environment.

I have learned so much since I started working at Megeredchian Law. The managing attorney and supervising staff have an open door policy which makes it easy to ask questions and learn from them. I enjoy working here. In previous jobs, I would wake up dreading work, now I am excited to go into work and start my day. Plus my coworkers are so cool. There is never any lousy office drama, everyone looks out for each other, As a team should!

This job has given me the opportunity to really find myself and find something I really love to do. The knowledge I have learned not only has  elevated me as aperson, but at the same time has taught me a lifetime of experience in the PI world. The best part about my job is the environment of the establishment and the sense of me belonging to something special
