Reema Health operates as a data-driven technology company where data collection and member enrollment are major components of the Community Guide role. In my experience, much of the job focuses on  persuading prospective members to enroll in services, making the position feel more sales-oriented than community-based.
Success in the role is heavily tied to meeting performance metrics and enrollment targets, as member engagement directly impacts company revenue. Individuals who enjoy sales, and working toward measurable goals may find this role rewarding.
those seeking a traditional social work or community advocacy position should carefully review the day-to-day responsibilities before applying. The role was not aligned with my expectations of Social Work , I found that metrics often took priority over meaningful member support and relationship building.
While I appreciated the opportunity to serve members and develop professionally, I often felt that the expectations were difficult to sustain and that employee contributions were not always recognized.
This position may be a good fit for someone motivated by performance goals and enrollment-focused outreach, but it was not the right fit for my long-term career goals .

I joined Reema Health excited about the opportunity to serve my community and make a positive impact. I genuinely enjoyed supporting members and believed in the mission of the organization.

During my time there, I consistently worked to meet expectations, completed my responsibilities, and remained committed to learning and improving. Unfortunately, my experience with management did not reflect the supportive and collaborative culture I had hoped for. I often felt that I was not provided with clear guidance, consistent communication, or the support needed to succeed. Instead of receiving constructive coaching, I experienced interactions that left me feeling singled out and unsupported.

My employment ended unexpectedly despite my understanding that I was meeting performance expectations. While I respect that every organization has the right to make employment decisions, I left feeling that the process lacked transparency and fairness.

I sincerely hope Reema Health continues its important work while also investing in stronger leadership practices, clearer communication, and a workplace culture where employees feel respected, supported, and given an equitable opportunity to succeed.

This company is not a stable or supportive place to work, especially for those outside of the Minnesota area. Despite being around for a few years, it's still operating like a disorganized startup with constant changes, no structure, and little to no real support for employees. Leadership appears selective with who they engage with and often disregards concerns from those they don't personally favor.

Technology systems are unreliable and frequently malfunction, making it difficult to perform daily tasks. There is little transparency, and serious questions remain about how the company operates, particularly regarding billing practices and insurance processes.

Unfortunately, employees are often set up to fail due to unclear expectations and shifting protocols. Even when you follow instructions, processes change without warning, creating an environment of confusion and job insecurity.

Overall, this company lacks direction, accountability, and effective leadership. If you're looking for stability, career growth, or ethical practices, I would strongly recommend considering other opportunities.



I worked at this company when it expanded to the NY State. This company is a start-up company that made it difficult to feel secure and stable.
In my time here, I had to be very patient working at this company. This company is new and is still trying to figure out what it wants to do. They are always changing standards, procedures, and what it is to fit into States Health Program. While being here  there was a lot of expectation in implement changes right away without much guidance or information that will assist in the changes. In addition, no matter how well you do your job they will not acknowledge your efforts because there is always improvements needed at all times. The workplace culture is odd, very cliquey. There's not a lot of support and they will let you go very quickly. They  don't not value their employees. They will paint you an elaborate beautiful picture of what the job is but it is all lies because they will expect much more and not the best ways. 

I was hired by Reema Health on May 5th and was let go on May 28th, without any prior warning or clear explanation. The lack of feedback or opportunity to improve made the experience feel abrupt and disheartening.
In my short time there, I found the work environment to be challenging. While questions were encouraged, responses from management often felt curt and unwelcoming, which made it difficult to seek guidance or feel supported as a new employee. The company promotes flexibility, but in practice, it was difficult to actually flex hours without pushback. This created concerns around work-life balance.
Overall, I did not feel that job security, communication, or employee support were prioritized. Those considering a role here should ask detailed questions about expectations and support systems during the interview process.


Reema Health is a start up company. When I first started working there it was great. Over the months it shows that they only care about number and not necessarily about building rapport with the members. They changed the mission statement and nothing changed. All they care about is meeting the metrics from month to month. NYC is a hard market always have been. If you don’t meet the metrics they are ready to get rid of you. You’re calling members every month to have a 2 minute conversation about nothing. *you can’t control if people answer the phone or not* 

The people that work there is horrible. There is no chain of command. HR is very mixy and bias. They just recently gave us a retirement plan. Health insurance is trash.

  - Administrative Maintenance: Managing [Specific Software or Systems] and ensuring that all documentation and reports are accurately updated by the end of the shift.

Working at Reema Health has been a rewarding experience. The organization genuinely cares about the communities it serves and empowers Community Guides to make a meaningful impact in people's lives. I appreciate the supportive team environment, the focus on addressing social determinants of health, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with members while helping them access resources and achieve their goals. The work is purpose-driven, collaborative, and allows me to use my healthcare and community outreach experience to support individuals in a holistic way. I am grateful to be part of a team that values compassion, respect, and equity in care.

This company sets unrealistic work expectations which results in setting employees up for failure. If you have issues with your direct manager HR manager Amanda will not listen nor provide any solutions or support. This company often fires people for no reason without even receiving a verbal warning or write up. Reema Health is more concerned about numbers than actually helping its members.  Reema acts like they care for their employees but they really don't. If you're not apart of a clique and speak up for yourself you will become a target. 

This job has great opportunities and ways to move forward. With it being a start up they started really small and are now growing, Which is great because this allows us to help more people in the community. Good benefits and ability to do some career development. Once in a meeting I said how overwhelmed I was and management checked on me afterwards to make sure I was okay and not stressed about work. I had personal issues going on and I was just venting not realizing that it was really affecting me. I felt like they cared.
