During my time at MAC it was run identical to a frat. The work structure is set up as Project Manager as sales and a point of contact, field inspectors as sales and door knocking/cold calls are expected. The FI pass any signed client to a project manager.
Canvasses were door knocking only would set appointments for the FI. As a PM the average work day was 8-8 Monday through Saturday and occasionally Sunday.
Mornings are for managing signed clients during roof repairs. Mid day for sales/teams meetings, afternoon for paperwork and 5-8 would be for new sales meetings.
Anyone with aptitude or sales is welcome and they are willing to teach the construction knowledge. 
Management and ownership is lacking. 
Hardwork is rewarded with bonuses and praise, but they do not respect personal time. A great sales week for the past three weeks is not remembered if your current sales week is lacking. 

Mid Atlantic is a fast ways to make money selling a roofing service. The real money is maid as a Project Manager. The disappointing aspect of the job is to sell a client and the Project Manager breaks the appointment and you are left to apologize profusely to a client who got "stood up" . I HOPE things have changed.  This was the unacceptable part of the job. You get an angry customer calling your cell phone angry because your company, someone you cannot control did not show up for the appointment. This occurrence was regular. You do get a small pittance of base pay, but when you feel your money burn in the anger of a righteously angry customer, you get angry too.  There are definite changes that must be made..This was better than other jobs..The people you meet that work along side you are pretty cool..

Awesome company, very understanding. There's just a lack of communication between sales associate and management. Such as surveying area. Downside is if you drive, they will love for you to put mileage on your car. Other then that it's rewarding and good entry level position for working on restoration. Hardest part about the job was there was just a little miscommunication that caused issues between co-workers. Other then that management understands everything and they are willing to work with you.

To be successful in sales you have to put in extreme time to the neglect of family

I think it is an environment that encourages friendly competition 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Review sales contact insurance company and policy holders meet construction team at sites ensure builds are going without a hitch

Assisted home owners with filing claims through their insurance company to have their roofs replaced due to storm damage which included but not limited to hail or windstorms. Attained leads for the company pipeline. Generated and closed my own leads via phone and door to door knocking. Maintained position as a top salesman once promoted from canvasser to contractor. Developed and maintained client interaction throughout the project including problem resolution, change orders, additional work opportunities etc.

This is not a good place if you want to take pride in your work.  Projects take 6-12 months to close out and get paid on. You have to fight with the office staff to have a simple service sent out.  Customers and sales reps aren’t always notified when workers will show up to a property. The owner shows up for a day changes job requirements hours and operations then leaves for a few weeks only to change it when he shows back up  holiday are held over your head to meet unrealistic expectations.  Time off can only be approved by the owner

DO NOT WORK HERE!  Management is absolutely horrible. Workplace sexual harassment occurs often, when brought to managers attention it is brushed off. No real HR department. Hours that you are expected to work are ridiculous, 8+ hours and not allowed a break. This company consists of a bunch of con artists who are willing to cheat & steal from the company to make their way to the top. Bad behaviors get REWARDED by promotion. STAY FAR AWAY. Employees are told that they are all "replaceable".

Great company as far as what your earnings can be, there is no structure after the initial 30 day training. No HR department, gossip runs rampid like most places. There is no work/ home balance so if you have kids this isn’t the place for you. Very paranoid owner who changes his mind on big decisions like the wind. Holidays are dangled over your head as bait. Learn what you can in a year or two and move on.

Friendly personnel in management and project estimating but not quite up to speed with DoD, IDIQ, JOC federal construction. Management and HR not "boots on ground ready" to support or  supply field management necessary tools to perform work efficiently. Unable to timely get necessary client decisions to provide complete project design or determine long term lead items.

Not a good company to work for..Dont work here...Bad Management owner says he is about Family and that's a lie he is all about Money in his pocket and doesn't care about his employees. He takes over Maintenance divisions and brings in Unskilled Cheap labor and gets rid of higher paid workers..BEWARE..
