What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part was working with a team of knowledgable people who take pride in making quality products for customers in the aerospace and commercial industry.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There was very little stress from Midcon work environment, however production could be challenging when suppliers didn't deliver parts on time to complete finish products. Midcon Cables have  high standard to satisfy customers delivery on time. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is friendly and very professional. The culture is to ALWAYS produce the best products for the best people we serve.  I loved it!! 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The day begins with team briefings and day-to- day goals to be met. Everyone takes pride in sharing advice and suggestions to resolve issues in conjunction management. The end of day is exciting when employees celebrate their collective achievements and compete with their S5 principles.

The work is not difficult after you figure it out.
Training is minimal and poor. 
The trainer is not very easy to learn from. You are given an attitude if you ask too many questions, and you don't usually last long.
Management only gives negative feedback. The overall culture is very negative.  Not friendly to new employees. Some new people leave at breaks and never come back. 
Getting an answer from management or others in charge is almost impossible. 
Pay is not competitive and raises are almost non-existent. 
The best part of the job is the flexible schedules and weekends off.


The worst management team you could imagine. It's a mean girl mentality.  Once management does like you or agree with you then they target and bully you til you quit or they find a way to fire you. Chuck Wheeler is a joke for a CEO. If you look at their yearly sales and income it only keeps declining because their work environment is utterly toxic. You have management that has been in the same position for too long and they've forgotten how to be part of the production floor. 

The pay is horrible and never expect a raise. If you do good and are good at what you do then they will run you ragged.

The owner of the company and his inability to talk to people 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They would like you to think it is family oriented but in truth it is dictatorship ran by the owner who only cares about dollars and ego. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Constantly moving dates because production can't keep up with demand.

New hires are really not given any clear direction. Nobody takes responsibility for pointing them  in any direction. Literally they want you to zero voice, zero input,  HR doesn’t take your complaints seriously. Treated like a joke   Belittling is a common thing. Don’t don’t don’t work there. It’s very unfavorable for any human. Everyone hired is straight off the street or hotel or food chain yet they want a high standard product with zero experience and pay just cents above minimum wage. Better off working at a hotel or amusement park. 

It all comes down to whether or not the floor likes you. Some things, you can do to affect this; many things, you can't. If you have their good graces, you'll be untouchable. If you don't, you won't last. Compensation and benefits were good. Management holds people accountable and keeps projects in motion. Schedule was accommodating for those with kids. Great coworkers but could have used better direction and training.

Owner is a micromanager, won’t let his staff do what they were hired for.

Environment was run by production, quality was an after thought.

Very hectic, no real scheduling

The people they were all nice and helpful

Learning the pwi and how to read it

Good environment liked it wasn't really hard just had to understand it

Learning a lot of different things wasn't just working on one thing

The higher management like HR and others show favoritism. No matter what I did I was not appreciated. Do not expect them to be understanding if you get sick more than once. They would rather lay you off if you do not come in when sick. The employees that worker there are very nice and easy to get along with but other than that don’t expect much. The management is just drama. 

If it was not for the employees on the floor, this place would cease to exist. The employees make up tremendously for the lack of integrity the higher ups severely lack.
They don't communicate with their employees at all. The leads will have to constantly fight for answers and solutions when things don't seem right. And when answers are given, it's worded in a way to place blame on the employees, when the fault lies with the higher ups, up under the CEO.
