The work environment is literally what you make it. Your attitude will determines how your day goes. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As a program manager, my day is mostly overseeing  staff to cover the homes to keep us in compliance. I also recruit and interview possible new staff. I assist the director in keeping our facility in compliance.

The job itself was doable.  What made it tolerable were the people we served and the staff.  They were extremely underpaid and job expectations became unrealistic for the pay.  No chance of advancement and I was grossly underpaid.  I had an administrative job with a 4 year degree and they hired someone with a GED that I was to supervise at 6.00 more an hour than me.  I brought it to their attention and they didn't care.  I did like working there.  The benefits were pretty good.

First off, the job is okay, working with the children even though they can make things stressful, working with the children was the best part of this job. NOW, the worst parts was co workers. There have been fights, whether it was physical or just verbal, the principal is extremely rude, co workers take long breaks and leave the building for almost 2 hours with no repercussions. You’re expected to go above and beyond for little pay. This job is not worth the stress it has mentally brought on people. The management does not care about you. You will never get a thank you, never get a raise, never get a bonus either. So good luck here

The work environment was stressful some of the people are great others are not very nice

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was pulling doubles for them and if I stepped out of line I got wrote up for everything, when I saw others doing the same I said something and got labeled as a troublemaker

Needs to be shut down and the land should be forbidden for any service.  I enjoyed the children, a very few staff and a few nurses.  The place is horrific for the children.  The parents are lied to. I would not put a horsefly there!

Needs to be shut down until state gets them together. They have mentally unstable ppl there that belong in a mental facility where properly trained nurses etc are. CNA was not taught that scope of practice. Place is a whole dangerous lie.

They will not help you out and defend you if something happens. Something could be there fault and they would blame it on you and fire you. It’s basically everybody for they self, it’s a JOB until you can do better. If you work here go to the houses the pay of $10 or less is worth the work you do because on the halls you do too much for little pay!! Thank me later 

Most staff will throw each other under the bus. No communication that is beneficial for the patience well-being nor the safety of the staff.  For the work done, staff workers are paid the least though do the most work. If you are injured, theirs barely any compensation,  especially if you injury is lifelong.

This facility is ran so horribly , everything is unorganized, you get hired and don’t get the position hired for. They don’t inform you on what’s needed to be done. They don’t inform you on  kids daily skills once you arrive. They have a lot of fraud going on. Things are being swept under the rug. This facility needs stare to take over. They don’t pay staff enough to deal with the things they deal with on a daily.

The work was easy and I enjoyed the atmosphere while working with the children

The way the rules change constantly and the way  they treat people which was HORRIBLE especially at HR !
