The workplace has to treat employees with dignity and respect. Management are supportive and encouraging. The hardest part are dealing with different personalities at the job.  Each day is as reenergizing as it is tiring. Arriving on the scene and making rounds. Everyday is different. Fast paced environment perfect for people that like to challenged and multi task. It is fun to work on this hospital, its give you courage and confidence. I love the people that I work with. Vibrant atmosphere and supportive staff. Education and training are always implemented. The most enjoyable part of the job  was being able to work with the patients and getting to see the patient improve and be able to discharge. It was rewarding to know that I had a small part in the success of that patient being able to discharge.

Low pay no respect to work and experience very stressful all the time no break and no body cares if u get break or not I feel sick all the time after work because very stressful and busy no help equipment does not work computer system is very bad and unfriendly intensivist in the icu very unprofessional and disrespectful toward staff when ever I wanted to go to work recently I get depressed I try my best to do my job safe and productive I get disappointed people do not stay there long time new grad as soon as training is done they leave I feel what ever I try to do my job better the more I get disappointed I am still working there but probably I am going to finish my job there more stress is lat thing I need in my life I was trying to help on covid time but in here everything is against you doctors nurse practitioners physcienassistant no body writes their order everything is on nurses shoulder now I understand why nurses r burned out and quit 



Staffing is terrible. There is more agency staff than regular staff at all times. New grads are pushed to come off orientation early. You might get placed in a unit with no charge so you have to go without a break for a full shift. Doctors/physicians are pampered and dont put in their own orders or review charts/ examine patients and rely on the nurse to do their job and his. Upper management is awful, they make it clear that you are just a body to them. They will ask you to work 24, work 5, 6, 7 days in a row. They will work you to death if you let them.

Despite this you have a supportive staff. The culture at MCH defeats the terrible conditions you are forced to work in. Og nurses provide knowledge, younger nurses are pleasant and helpful. Its like getting through war with family. The staff here are the only things that make working here bearable. Despite that, they don't pay them adequately or even show their appreciation for them.

MCH is a great hospital......The only problem is that I was injured on the job and promised that when I recovered I would have my job back no matter how long I was out. Guess what, I have been replaced by a director that runs my office from behind a computer. It's very unfair not to have your job waiting as promised even when you were hurt trying to save your staf during a blackout.
I was over goal almost every month and brought in more cash than any other director. Am I upset, you bet I am! from what I hear the new owners are very business savy, not like the former management.
Sounds like a group I should be working for. As I said before, Mission is a great hospital and in a couple of weeks I will be ready to improve cash flow for someone who needs a good revenue cycle director.

My first day, I was expected to start groups immediately. I was expected to have the necessary skills and communication to facilitate groups and write notes using EHR. There was always someone to ask for questions. Staff are fun/serious/helpful. I enjoyed my contract position but they “phased out” temp employees. I would gladly return to working here. Had I not had extensive group-facilitation experience, the job would have been extremely challenging. My ability to think-on-my-feet and resolve crises made me successful. Great team of co-workers.

A typical day for me was very long, I regularly worked overtime.
I learned a lot about the hospital business and how the process of insurances and a lot of other hospital procedures generally. Management in the years i have been here have come and go but generally decent when i had one. My co workers were usually good spirited the ones i directly worked with, only a few were negative but that's anywhere you go. The hardest part about my job was dealing with visitors and or family members of patients but i never have had a serious issue with anyone I've always been able to diffuse situations.The most enjoyable part about my job was helping people on a daily basis including the visitors and patient family members and numerous departments in the hospital.

I enjoyed helping others especially the patients being admitted to the Behavior Health  Unit.  Some of the  nursing staff were in need of sensitivity training. The level of professionalism  during the time I was there was  extremely weak. The Supervisor was not very knowledge  based. I believe most of the staff working in the dept. only had high school diploma which was hard when you hold a BS. The work environment was not very pleasant. The Doctors on call were rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. It  is a disservice to the community it represents.

Management doesn’t care to put in money to get things done correctly but expect you to make temporary fixes that’s all the work duck tape and glue is what’s being used to keeps this hospital alive .

For any hard working people your work will go unnoticed in the sense of not being able to grow in your field both tittle and salary but you will be relied on and promised the world to get you motivated to do more but never really delivered on the promise that was made ,you would have to be in with management basically being judged  on every factor other then of hard work and dedication I have bin there roughly five years best thing I have ever done was leave that place 

My day would start @ 8-5pm There were 6 in our department I handle all the desktop support issues, the deployment of new PC's, Purchase of new pc's and laptops I also created new accounts for new employees. Mission was a small Hospital my other It co-worker handle the server issues, and new health care programs. Our Manager (Director) was a great Guy he would allow us to take as many course as we liked and would encourage us to do so. The hardest part of the job was keeping up with all the ongoing changes we were building as we grew. The most enjoyable was we were close as co-workers. We were all laid off because of New owners.

There are lots of discrimination going on. There are gangsters between Philipinas and Mexicans. Minorities suffer a lot. Only minorities got fired. In hiring;  minorities 1%, others 9%.
I learned to shout up and focus on my assignment while the gangsters are roving around, conniving, whom to be fired. They have so much time on their hands. They overload minorities so that they will have enough time for criticism and gossips. They like to disrespect monorities, if you there complain, you will be fired.
No promotions for minorities. A new hired housekeeping can be transfered to medical records in no times, Godfather.
