The micromanaging and over sight of this company is horrific. They watch you on camera constantly to the point I was on my phone posting to group me the required part of the job and they zoomed into my phone and emailed I was on my phone. The regional of the East is a very opinionated individual will embarrass you and rip you away from customers also try to talk about things about the job in front of customer that should not be talked about! They only care about money not the employees from my experience is horrible and unrewarding. The entire store quit at the same time after months of being there. Would not provide masks when went back to work till almost 2 months later. Help desk is the biggest joke. They will not help you nor return anything . It was a very miserable and sad experience . They made a job so easy very difficult. Don’t ever work for this company you will find out within a couple weeks what it’s really about . They don’t care about you at all. They way they treated my managers was unbelievable no wonder we all left. They also tried to force me to close and open a store when I never once did . Did not even have my own code or key. Talked bad about me to another employee because one day I worked a 5 hour shift and commented I’m full time and only working a 5 hour shift . They will not let you work 40 hours they will try to avoid overtime at all costs literally. Have to fight to get toilet paper. They things I seen working there amazed me and I’ve seen a lot of crazy things . They also fired my dm because he worked so hard and had a situation where he had to go to Human Resources to ask if he should fire an employee who was not performing and having issues with rules and when he did they called the owner and tried to talk bad about him so they fired him. He was fantastic and made the place bearable to work for. In the end Human Resources never backed him up at all. It’s a joke owners only care about money . They have people in Pakistan watching employees on camera and people at corporate in Texas watching them talk about not trusting anyone . I had to bring my own vacuum in from my parents house to even vacuum and clean properly. If your smart you will avoid this company at all costs. Cricket should re-evaluate who runs there’s stores ASAP !!!!!!!

They present the job as a great sales position, where you will receive a commission on top of your hourly compensation and have fun doing it; This couldn't be further from the truth.


Let's start with the negative and then move on to the positive. You will be working long hours, often alone, with no lunch breaks, and you will be expected to handle all operations yourself. There is no "possibly" here; it's guaranteed.

It's not unusual to see a store operate solely at the associate level for long periods of time, or for associates to be ordered to perform RSM duties, without compensation of RSM or even job title.


Lack of commission is not a widespread problem, however enough reviews reflect this problem that it is clearly a widespread problem. Many employees don't see a consistent commission, instead relying on their hourly pay.

Surveillance is another area that is a bad point, simply because of the conflicts present ex: store-level employees are required to use cell phones for operations-related activities during the workday; however, surveillance will actively message management about "Employee on Cell Phone" repeatedly, asking them to "take care of it at the store level." However, most uppers simply ignore, due to the above.

Lastly, you should expect to be micromanaged by multiple levels of management simultaneously, often performing redundant actions and other times performing actions that have no clear benefit other than the clear implication that it's just a busy work due to the fact that most stores are slow.

Now that we're done with the negative, let's move on to the positive!

Since stores tend to be slow, this gives you the opportunity to do schoolwork or other activities to make the most of the time.

The job is easy aside from micromanaging, and you can get good very quickly.

Customers tend to be friendly and interactions are almost always positive.

Local area management tends to care about their employees, so you will generally have a positive experience with coworkers and management.

This company has potential to be an amazing place to work, but has too many shortcomings.

Mobilelink is a cell phone wireless company in the USA owned by middle eastern. They don’t respect anyone that is below them, they treat you like nothing and talk down to you in conference calls in front of all your peers. If you try to defend yourself because you are right and they are wrong they tell you to jump off the call and then call you after to talk to you like you are nothing.

 This company have a serious problem staffing their stores because the goals are so high for the employees to make commission and the locations they own are not in good areas at all. People quit every day like a lot and be ready to go and cover shift from opening to closing a store, yes you the Sales Director covering shift every day because they are always short staff. I don’t mind on doing this but when you have to do it almost every week multiple days per week how can you really do your job. 

Let me talk about HR, I give you one advice. If they do something wrong to you and you are able to take them to court do it but don’t put Mobilelink on the paperwork you have to fo one of the owners that’s what the head of HR told one of the corporate office members that was in charge of Loss Prevention. 

This company don’t care about the employees and TRUST ME......... If you are goof at your job you will quit on your own when you realize how the culture of this company is and don’t expect to get pay commission at all because the goals are so high to make commission for several months none of the Sales Directors or Territory Managers made any commission at all not even one person and I have the proof of this because they changed the commission. Mobilelink I know so much about this company and all the wrong you did to many people that again if you are going to take them to court don’t do it under the Mobilelink name you have to do it to one of the owners name so you can get the most out of them.

I began my role with the goal of building a culture of trust between my team and the field team. However, my onboarding was disorganized, consisting of one week of meetings and almost a month's worth of self-paced training to complete.  There was minimal guidance from my supervisor, who provided little to no support. As a result, I had to figure out my role independently, spending much of my day seeking assistance from my direct reports, taking them away from their own priorities.  Each of them expressed being overworked and underappreciated, but felt it was futile for me to come in and think that change management would be welcome.  Priorities were unclear, with daily firefighting and hundreds of emails from multiple competing stakeholders.  Communication was disjointed and scattered across various platforms, and I was constantly discovering new systems and processes required for my job.  I spent more time in meetings than on my core duties, leading to a frustrating and unsupported experience.   I was provided with inadequate equipment (a tiny computer monitor and a cheap laptop), which ultimately revealed a company culture that does not prioritize employee development and support.  If you are looking for a retail organization that invests in developing its people as drivers of value, growth, and engagement, then this IS NOT the place for you.





So this is what happened
And why I quit. 

I’ve decided I will not be staying with the company, I’m sorry things couldn’t work out,  maybe at another store or maybe just at a different time, the manager you currently have doesn’t have well communicating skills and is convinced that this “ he said she said began when I got here”. I asked her yesterday to try and figure it out what was being said but instead I get to work I get this third degree from her she doesn’t speak to me until about an hour and a half and then proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t do mess and if the messiness continues she will have to terminate me. as I was procedding to tell her that is best if we have this conversation with at least one more person she says it’s not necessary but the thing iOS it was necessary cause that is how the he said she said starts but she say this didn’t start till yesterday but you were there Anthony when Neely started with the comments Friday, and then in reality yesterday that there was short money sebastian came to me with the comment that Neely said that the day  Neely and sureker worked that sureker gave the comment” since the “cameras aren’t working” we can make a police report that 4 Hispanic guys came and robbed the store and we can take the money those are some big accusations hence why I didnt want to be involved, and as assistant manager I’m stuck in the middle cause those accusations are towards the manager from the employees like we’re would one stand but like I said hence why i didn’t wanted to be here yesterday  , I just really wanna thank you for the opportunity that you gave me even tho it didn’t work out I wish nothing but the best for the company

I started working at mobilelink as an ASM. Within a month and a half I was thrown into a store that was abandoned by it's previous RSM and team. For about 3 months I worked open to close 7 days a week because the stores were so understaffed and had a difficult time staffing.  Sure I was promoted to an RSM and given a minor pay raise.  What we were paid was well below industry standards for our positions.  So no formal training my previous Territory Manager called it a trial by fire.  Cute huh?  So no support from my TSM and no support for corporate somehow I managed to staff my store.  

When December hit due to my now staffed stores low numbers and that my back room wasn't tidy I was placed on a final written warning for insubordination.  Cute huh?  Somehow I still decided to stay.

Now that I've left after close to 2 years of service. I was fined quite a few bucks from the company for supposed missing inventory.  Despite proving with the take over manager there that all of my inventory was accounted for. I have tried to get my deposit back from my shirts and badges. All emails now go unanswered.   Cute huh?

So 2 years of getting paid less than others in the same general field with the same general title and responsibilities.

2 years of being basically harassed by the surveillance team for taking a break to sit down and eat food.

2 years of my commission structure changing nearly a dozen times. 

And all I have to show for it is money stolen from my paycheck for inventory we proved was there and money stolen for 5 horrible shirts and 2 name badges.

Please stay away unless you plan on just having a job.

I was with this company for 10 months, I've come from corporate wireless and when I tell you these people have not a clue as to running a business they are at the top of it. I met the entire family that owns Mobilelink. 
I managed 1 of their brand new store in was just given keys and told put the store together and find people to work and this was all in a week before opening. 
I know companies have to have insurance on their money and phones however I have money taken out of my check due to the store being short, and they make up the policy as they see fit to do so... That day the money was missing I had no draw didn't even touch and of the opening or closing procedures but I was the one held responsible and their policies clearly say each person is responsible for his or her draw.. So how was I responsible. 
The change your status in Ultipro without your knowledge they mess with your time if u forget to clock out they will adjust your time to 1 minute and if u don't catch it that's what they will try to pay u for
They will keep changing your monthly quota so you can't commission
They be knowing their store is shorthanded and then they want to write you up for overtime because you didn't email financial to get the approval for it but it's only 2 workers. 
They want the manager to 45hr and you will not get overtime for your 5hrs.
This company doesn't care about you just what you can do for them and will use you until you say that's it.
Make sure you get copies of everything. Cause someone is going to sue this company for all the unethically and laws they are breaking.

IMO:  Ineffectual leadership from the top down. Organizational structure is incredibly broken due to a mixture of incompetence, penny pinching, and 0 accountability within every part of the company. Ownership's poor planning and worse execution is endured by anyone that chooses to stay there. Find anywhere else to work in wireless, your career will be better for it. The "Operations" team owns every piece of the business, especially since they got rid of AVPs. Expecting operations to own sales, operations, staffing, inventory, maintenance, marketing efforts and on and on. Meanwhile, many stores are in single coverage every day andmore than 50% of employees make 0 commission. They receive little to no training or development which ensures they never will. Field leaders are spread so thin and are so inexperienced they have no idea what they are doing and so many just don't do anything or just chase whatever fires come up day to day so they can feel productive. There is so much more but I don't have any interest in wasting anymore time on them. Just run away!

If you want to work 6 days a week, open to close, no lunch break, low pay, unrealistic goals, commission isn't that great as they make it seem. Then that's the perfect job for you! In my total 10 months of working here we had 2 AVP's, 2 Sales Directors, 4 Territory Managers and countless sales reps leave the company. They constantly threaten your job over every little mishap that happens and they have you write up the entire staff for missing your monthly goals. There is no real training process you sit in the back watch videos and once you're done the company expects you to be able to close multi line accounts. Back office watches the cameras 24/7 they notify the higher ups for everything. You can't even sit-in the break room to eat your food or go to the restroom if your the only there. You're also constantly having to "help out" other stores with coverage and when you're actually hitting your goals company raises them higher and higher every month. You also have to hit your personal goal in order to get your commission, which is hard at times when you're constantly conducting interviews, marketing to get traffic into the store and the store has to be trending to receive the store commission. 

This was an hourly job and the company expects you to answer every email, phone call like if your Salary and you barely have days off. So if you see a job opening for this company, wether it's for a store manager, assistant manager or sales rep don't apply. You'll find something better!

Where to even begin. I worked there for 4 years. 1 as a sales rep, 3 as a Store manager.  The job is bearable as a sales rep. Typically minimum wage, but commission makes up for it. They  wouldn't pay me extra for being Bilingual, but was always getting calls from other locations to translate.   Management positions are a compete JOKE. Pay plans change every few months and never benefits Store Management. If you don’t hit your sales goals (which are also ALWAYS changing) it’s always your fault. Upper management always looks out for their own job and will completely throw you under the bus when it benefits them. They watch you like a hawk on the cameras 24/7 and are constantly sending petty emails which get you in trouble with upper management. Lots of travel and you will not be compensated unless you are a TM or higher. I drove all around my district covering shifts at different locations, bank runs, phone transfers, and out of store marketing. Never saw any gas money. Sometimes you will get lucky and find managers that actually care about you, don’t expect them to stick around though, they never last. Turnover rate is ridiculous. HR is a joke.  Workplace can get toxic extremely fast and absolutely nothing will be done about it. Do not work here, they will suck the life out of you until you have nothing more to give!!!
