The culture is upbeat and collaborative. On Tuesday's they have a thing they call "Team Tuesday" where one person comes to the front to discuss something or leads a group exercise to start off the morning. The environment is relaxed with decadent modern day decor, to get you in the mindset "communicating beautifully." Of course with being a digital marketing agency comes deadlines to be met! Your mind is always racing thinking up new ideas and ways to create content that will amaze and wow their clients as well as the client's customers. It is best to be well organized and to write things down while working here a lot of meetings are held. In all being an intern at Moncur was good for me. I gained some valuable skills during my internship in which I would never have known about if it weren't for my mentor at Moncur.

During my time at this company, I found the work environment to be extremely difficult and, at times, uncomfortable. Leadership often lacked professionalism and demonstrated behavior that raised serious concerns about ethics and boundaries in the workplace. Comments about employees' spouses and inappropriate attention toward new hires created a culture that felt more predatory than supportive. Promotions often appeared to be based on personal relationships rather than merit, which further eroded trust and morale among staff. I cannot in good faith recommend this workplace to others based on my experience.

There is a consistent focus on culture and work life balance that makes working here great and ever since I arrived it has continually improved. The best part are the people that work here, who are both talented and really friendly.

The clients we work with do very sophisticated and technical things so I'm constantly learning while I advance my skills. The company has been growing consistently for quite a while so there's always opportunities to get involved with new things and learn new things.  My director really makes an effort to help me grow and I'm better at what I do because of her support.

Moncur is really a great place to learn and grow.

Just don't. This place looks amazing from the outside, but on the inside? Toxic and gossip-filled. The gossip is fueled from the management team, who like to pit people against each other for their own amusement. 

I did not have a good experience at this company and would not recommend it to anyone looking to advance their career. 

I did not learn much as my managers were not eager to teach employees. The most enjoyable part of the job were the occassional happy hours.

I really can't recommend working here to anyone - the leadership team is downright volatile and it starts and ends at the top. When the entire marketing strategy is centered around the owner's name, you know you're working for an egomaniac/narcissist.

The other departments are run just fine. My department doesn't have an actual director, there's a lot of miscommunication and lack of organization. Our managers make promises to the clients on things that cannot be delivered.

This company operates in teams and is very innovative in the work it produces for clients. However, the pay scale can be very low relative to other advertising and marketing services agencies.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Beautiful work. Very talented employees.  Didn't trust management.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Low pay.  Couldn't trust management.
