Poor management for laboratory director , lab supervisor and lead personnel. Luck of training for new hires . They fired staff on the spot . Work schedule is change all the time . Morning shift from 6am - 7am lots lazy staff are hiding at that moment . 1 Hr  break in morning and theres another break at lunch which is 1 hr. Hca facility should only 1 hr break per hca policy and doing the job. New staff are been working so much and with out help. All lead medical technologist are  poor teaching skills , no  willing to help for new staff to succeed in the lab . Lots error in lab resulting esp. For delta repeat critical resulting .No qc and ca;ibration performed in the lab .  They will discriminate you youre a minority , new grads, young and ambitious . Racist hca facility , no rights for minority . Need a diversity in Morning shift . Need change of management from director , supervisor , lead medical technologist in the Morning . 


Thats why hiring every few months ???? Because of poor management in the lab .

The Benefit of free health insurance for employee and family is great and unheard of. the department use to be great but because they want to expand our inpatient physical Rehab Department they are filling the beds with higher acuity patients that are inappropriate for our level of care and it shows with the higher level of return to acute care discharges or escalations of care. Our Boss plays favorite and while she smiling at you you can tell that she is a yes person with upper management and doesn't know how to stand her ground. She also hired a nurse manager with almost no floor experience and has only been a nurse for a few years. I always think the nurse managers that are great are the ones that have had at least 5 years floor bedside nursing experience to understand what beside nursing is really about and not just someone with a degree that quotes policies and procedures to you when something needs to be done.

New management rolled in couple years ago and wiped all the good old crew clean out. I was one of the last to go. One of the last who didn't give in on both knees and kiss butt to working harder with less and no OT allowed you'd be lucky to get 1 ot shift. 

Budget cuts and revolving door of ceo,cfo,directors and management, making it a terrible environment for employees and patients. The doctors are clueless bullies always changing up prescribe medication the patients been on for years without permission and denying meds expecting patients to get better on their own. 

Virtually no support especially at night unless you bribe co-workers with drugs or 'other' favors. Its a real slum. I finally had enough and quit after many years of neglect and abuse from co-workers and management instead of giving in to their filthy ways.

I absolutely love the potential a registered nurse has here at this hospital. I haven't found another hospital that offers better pay and benefits and growth than here. There is a wide range of personalities you'll work with and if open, opportunities are endless. The only downside is that there is exposure to burn-out, chronic under-staffing and lateral violence. But, that is with every hospital except those maybe that have nurse-to-patient ratio laws like California. The best part of my job here is the quality of care I can provide. I love feeling that I can do much more than pass medications. The hardest part of my job is meeting the same quality care for all the patients on my shift. Once you start working here, you will find that you love this place more and more every day as you grow to challenge yourself and what you know to be a better you.

Working as a night shift HIM tech is a relatively simple position, requiring only a quick mind, an eye for detail, and fast hands.
The typical day involves finding and organizing all of the necessary charts, processing them, and then securing them for shipment.
The department itself is quiet, and polite, mostly because working nights you are working solo. Which means no workplace drama and only rare interactions with your boss.
The job itself is not hard, but it is is rushed, and requires good time management. The most important part is meeting the quotas and deadlines, everything else is cake.
I found the job calming, because it was easy to think while performing repetitive tasks.

I have some of the best co-workers I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Unfortunately, this is by far the most disorganized, poorly designed, and phenomenally mismanaged hospital I have ever worked in. It is amazing how there is never a lack of new ways to make it more difficult for providers to actually administer care to patients. Management is only happy when they are graphing their newest metric or figuring out how much their annual bonus is going to be. The whole system runs on 1960s software technology and the only time something changes is if a patient complains or sues. Staff feedback receives almost zero consideration except occasionally as an afterthought.

This hospital is one of the worst places I have ever worked. Their practice is to stuff as many patients as they can in the hospital whether there is sufficient staff to care for these patients or not. I have witnessed first hand how dangerous these practices are. The administration allows their doctors to disrespect the patients and the nursing staff. I do not recommend this place to anyone who truly believe in patient safety.

Love working in this company lots of career growth and potential. System is great and easy to follow. They encourage employees to take vacation. Cna always missing in action, they like to boss around the nurses. Always on break and can't be find when you need them. It's not a good place to work because of them. They dont know whats their job description other than taking vitals. Rudeness of CNA are tolerated by supervisor and nobody seems want to correct it.  Don't botherto report to director or charge as they don't care.  Be careful if you are new CNA will try to make you do all of their job.

Worked closely with the VP of Quality in all aspects.  Was responsible for the policies & procedures processes and loved doing it.  After being in the commercial real estate field for many years, I was given this fantastic opportunity to start over in the medical field. We had 13 ladies in the department and I helped every single one of them - I would say the the hardest part of the job was sometimes not being recognized in the dept. I had the respect of the Directors, Administrators and physicians and learned a lot including medical terminology and internal processes.

I enjoyed working here bc I enjoy my career in general. However, there's a lot of displacement with management. Often times people are giving positions simply bc there is no other positions available for them and it's often in management in a position they aren't qualified to fill.  There are some great managers here and a few I had the pleasure of working with. However, again there's others in management that make you wonder how they got the position other than favoritism or bc no one else wanted the job. You develop a lot of patience with poor management, staff, and patients.
