The role is labeled as an independent contractor position, but the day-to-day expectations are highly structured. Workers are required to follow schedules, meet strict performance metrics, and adhere closely to company procedures.

Contractors are paid like independent workers, with no paid time off, holidays, or benefits, but are expected to meet the same structured schedules, performance standards, and oversight as full-time employees.

There is also limited transparency around compensation, expectations, and long-term growth opportunities. The workload can be demanding, and communication from leadership is sometimes inconsistent, which can make it difficult to stay aligned with priorities.

Overall, the role can feel more rigid than advertised.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment can feel uneven. Recognition and advancement opportunities are not always clearly tied to performance or tenure, which can be discouraging over time.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day involves meeting strict productivity expectations, following detailed workflows, and maintaining performance targets. There is a high level of oversight, which can feel closer to a traditional employee structure than an independent contractor role.

Really tight knit team with the drive to get things done. We face obstacles as a team, constantly problem solving and moving toward a solution together. Not only do we work hard, but we play hard too! Even though we’re all so busy all the time, we make time for team bonding. 

The work environment is very fast paced, there's always a new project to work on. There's opportunity to dip your toes into anything you’re interested in learning more about! I've learned so much about marketing strategy, social media content creation, and start-up culture in my first year here.

Culture that values family and connections over the best or most qualified. No honest way of tracking metrics, managers can change or create anything. Constant budget cuts including snacks and lunches being taken away, no water. Raises not given and almost all managers were demoted without warning 
Need to keep own records, asking for everything in writing. 
Fixes for machines and environment never came.
The workplace changes people but not for the better.  

I really enjoy working for Musely! This company has strong values including valuing transparency, loyalty to both staff and customers, and honest, thorough communication. No matter how much work there is to do, everyone remains calm, kind and supportive which promotes a very healthy work environment. I love being challenged every single day and and reaching my personal goals leaves me with a sense of accomplishment. I feel that there is much room to grow within the company and look forward seeing how the company continues to expand!

This is the cheapest company I have ever worked for in every sense of the word. The management does not care about their employees, there is no structure within the company, there is no recognition of excellent work ethic, there is no pride within the workplace.  I was promised accolades and responsibility, when I was actually treated like a pack mule even though I was going above and beyond. No recognition of efforts or measurable performance. Embarrassing company to work for.

I can honestly say that I absolutely love my job! They offer a flexible schedule and on-going training to help you advance. One of the most important aspects of the position is that your hard work will never go unnoticed and they love to promote from within! There can be a lot of day to day tasks to complete but I love being challenged. Everyone on the team is extremely nice and they are always open to new ideas, which is refreshing. I can definitely see myself working here for a very long time!!!

Fast paced and fun environment. A great company with lots of opportunity for growth. The company is growing really fast but the team is still relatively small and agile. I'm learning a lot about digital marketing, social media management, and content creation. If there's anything I want to get involved in, the opportunity is available! The marketing team is always creating and working on different projects, so it's great for those who want to be kept on their toes!

Mixing, pumping/labeling the bottles, doing dishes and degreasing and entering orders

Working at Musely is always eventful and fun! There's lot of different people to meet and new projects to work on. Management is great and regularly checks in to see how you're handling work and how they can help you succeed. It is definitely start-up culture, so be ready to work, but also be ready to see how your direct contributions help the company grow. 
Best part of the job is definitely the team; everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand when things get really busy. 

Company is growing quickly and calls itself fast paced and innovative but the moment you underperform by their standards you'll probably be pushed out or your work life will be made so miserable until you quit on your own. They don't value their workers and it shows by the crazy high amount of turnover. Management practices are sloppy and morale is low. An exciting opportunity turned nightmare.
