Working at NCR Atleos was a disappointing experience overall. Management is poorly organized and often disconnected from day-to-day realities. Expectations are constantly changing, yet communication is minimal, leaving employees confused and blamed for issues beyond their control.

There is very little support for employee growth or work-life balance. Long hours are common, understaffing is ignored, and burnout is treated as normal rather than a problem to fix. Leadership tends to favor micromanagement over trust, which creates a stressful and demoralizing environment.

Morale is extremely low, and employee concerns are rarely taken seriously. Promises about improvement, advancement, or resources are frequently made but not followed through. Compensation does not reflect the workload or stress level, and recognition for hard work is rare.

Overall, NCR Atleos feels more focused on numbers than people. Unless significant changes are made in leadership, communication, and employee support, I would not recommend this workplace to anyone looking for a healthy or rewarding career.


Was hired because of knowledge with competitor's technology and yet it hindered my ability to keep my job. I was promoted to a Specialist Support position and then treated poorly because I wouldn't take more time from my very busy day to learn NCR's technology as a support specialist. I could work on any of their products but giving support on technology that you didn't work on yourself is just dumb. They expected me to just look stuff up in a tech manual and give advice. NCR as a whole looks really nice from the outside but they are a narcissistic, terrible company on the inside. Nepotism runs strong and they claim to support the LGBTQ but they really don't. I will never work for them again, nor would I recommend working for them to my worst enemy. They will hire you and lay you off once they get what they want out of you. 

The projects you work on are some of the best experience and largest projects many people will ever work on. It really is impressive what we are able to put out. But, that does come with its drawbacks. Well over half the company works internationally, so it can be difficult to have a good in-office culture. Working primarily with development teams in India mean very early start times,  and can lead into poor work life balance. Additionally becuase of the internatonal aspect, a lot of common support items and certain tasks can feel disjointed, as you may not be able to get answers you need until the next day. 
There are several people and teams who absolutely love their team (may that be more of their team is on site too), and depending on your functional area, experience with international aspect could be different. 

The good: You get a company van, gas and credit cards.  Training is the best part.  Hands on equipment at Peachtree City, and you are fed very well.  Also you have the option to work on networking products too.

The bad: Way too many metrics to meet, had to close so many calls a day, utilization had to be at 100% all the time, no consistency or transparency from management.  Also risk is high you might get robbed when working on an outside unit in an area you are not seen at (you do have the option for security to accompany you tho).  Management was good at first but deteriorated towards the end and became untrustworthy.  Because of the metrics you are competing somewhat against your co workers.

it is study work and has basic benefits 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Local Field service managers, They have No respect for the field team that they over see. they bad mouth and cuss everyone who works for them.  and forget them hang up there phones when they are done talking to you. so you can hear all the garbage they talk about the employees

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Field Service is VERY TOXIC.  In some of the office it is not to bad. BUT Stay away from the Field Service Teams.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
over worked, under paid. Disrespected, cussed out, nothing positive that i can say about working for the field service team

Very interesting work, good training.
Floating goals and priorities.  At one point, they had designated ALL except 1 customer as the utmost priority.
Driven to meet SLAs, despite continuing reduction in force and increasing coverage areas.
Stressful with no support from management.  They will side with the customer, always.
Irrational and sometimes impossible schedules and expectations.
They expect you to be on call 24/7/365, but only pay for 40hrs.  On the seldom occasion they approve overtime, they act like they're doing you a favor.


Most every day is a new surprise as you get in your van to drive all over the state fixing ATMs and network devices. They do have a training program, but the first six-month can be rough. If you're comfortable asking for help, you'll do well. If you can take machines apart and put them together again so they work, you'll do well. Management varies heavily, most are good, but some want to micromanage. Those don't last. The best part of the job is the freedom. If all the work is done and you want to sit around at the "Owl Restaurant" while getting paid, go for it. Just be ready for that call at 7 pm tonight.

this company does not care about your time at all, they just expect you to work more and do overtime when your not obligated too, my manger would complain when we were busy and complain when we weren't, the pay was laughable for the amount of work you do and the raises were insulting. they also can just fire you on the spot due to a "reduction in workforce" which is what they did to me. I had never been so miserable working at any company do not ever work here

You work out of your van.Company van, credit card ,cell phone. Depending on your territory, can be very busy and stressful.If you are on call you will work nights and weekends, holidays.I was lucky if I had 3 holidays not on call.Flavor of the month regarding processes and procedures.The good is their is a lot of work, but if you have lazy/poor coworkers, you will have to fix their screwups.You will be working mostly outdoors on ATM's.

Was here 2 years, the actual work was fine, coworkers were mostly enjoyable. The bad was the management, 1st year was good but 2nd year towards the end it changed. Got a horrible supervisor who micro manages and wants things done in way that doesn't make sense beside track your every minute. She was very much hated by everyone who was unfortunate enough to be on her team, I left because she was unbearable.  Raises were honestly garbage
