I absolutely miss working for this company they were the best agency, I have worked for and I would recommend them.  The pay is really good and timely, get paid the next day if you want to.  As a PRN worker I had so much flexibility in my schedule, the freedom to pick and choose when and which jobs I wanted to take. They have several staffing options across the state, in several different types of healthcare settings. I could work as much or as little as I wanted, with no problems from the company.

You can't just send your workers to different places & not check on or even care on how they are being treated. And when there is a lack of work, you can't just expect them to wait months at a time for work to come up. And then pressure them to work dam near hr away just to say you offered them something.  You don't know what there situation is to go that far. And if they haven't been working b/c they don't have shifts put out to work for hours: How do you expect them to work an hour away- back & fourth?

It’s a staffing agency so you will work in the field, but the culture is poor and impersonal as far as recruiter staff

From top to bottom, this company is great to work for. Recruiter/manager is ALWAYS available / understanding and the office staff is always helpful.
The manager communicates schedules very timely and I always get the shifts I want.
The best part about this company is everything is online! No paper time slips like other agencies have. I clock in and out using my phone!!

Thought they were gonna be decent but quickly found out they were rude. Scheduled me for multiple days to work canceled me 30 min before shifts. Was involved in wreck on way to work and called to let them know they told me i made them look bad because i was gonna be late

I love the work environment at Nurses Direct. Everyone collaborates as a team, and the staff is incredibly supportive. We all care for one another and are willing to help eachother in any way possible. It feels like family!

Decent wages.  Great communication.  Local contracts are a definite plus.

I haven’t had any stressful experiences with the company.

No complaints. Easy to schedule shifts, very few cancellations, great pay and the best part is there is no need for paper time slips. Everything is electronic, you submit your time sheets and you’re paid the next morning.
