What is the best part of working at the company?
Everyone was very friendly and helpful at first.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of consistent training program and lack of organization in patient files within dropbox.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly at first; but training is not given priority with any kind of consistency so it leaves you to do a lot of research and educating yourself on the job along the way.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It varies. It can be anything from visiting a patient to do an initial assessment,  writing a detailed assessment report, researching different states rules/resources, to case management like filling out applications for benefits,  finding new placement in low income housing,  group homes,  or nursing homes,  and making doctor appointments and arranging for medical equipment or transportation.

Working from home!  It allows for focused work time and the ability to start laundry/dinner in the middle of your work day. No commuting!
There is NO micromanaging in this job which I love!  Ask questions, work collaboratively and take charge of your own responsibilities to complete what is needed for the client.
One of the challenges that took me awhile to overcome was the social interactions that we take for granted in typical work environments.  Take up hobbies, make plans to meet with your friends and enjoy your work interactions with your clients.  Figure out how to make that work for you because in the long run, the flexibility that is part of this job makes for a far less stressful day/life.

NCA is a great place to work. There is no typical day and you learn something new all the time. If you are self-motivated and willing to learn, you can do very well at NCA. Working from home with this company is great for flexibility. They do not micromanage you so you have to be able to manage your own work efficiently. Some over night travel is required. The management is wonderful. 

Impressive company. They are really able to appreciate what their employees bring to the table. They are realistic about the workload and the time needed to fully orient and learn the ropes. Excellent, available leadership. They want their employees to succeed and it shows. As a result, the clients they serve are the true beneficiaries.

Hard to fully meet the needs of people. A lot of micromanagement

Pretty isolating as you're alone

Great company in so many ways. We work hard and are appreciated and compensated. Every day is different with new challenges. Lots of support to provide high quality work expected of employees.

This job offers me the opportunity to utilize all of my nursing knowledge to make a difference in individuals lives. I learn something new every single day. The management is supportive and helpful. The work place culture is one of inclusion and appurtenance.

This job and the people whom I work with and run the business are AMAZING and one of a kind. I have never had a job that encourages work life balance and provide 110% management support to the entire team. I am truly blessed to be a part of this amazing company!

We work remotely, in our own home offices, which provides freedom of time and good energy management.  The job is a regular day, 8:30 to 5, and being available for management, clients and coworkers is easy to do with the knowledge that the job is between those hours.
