It was a great place to work at in the beginning, but as time goes on, you get really tired of the inconsistent job shifts. You could work 8 hour shifts sometimes and then 15 hours shifts the next night. The Manager above my main manager(who I loved and they enjoyed me as a coworker) was never seen. I only saw him the day I came on the job. The pay is lack luster and is close to 45% under the nationwide average pay for that type of job. The Benefits were great but being paid 9.50 an hour to drive around for 12 average hours a night about 4-5 nights a week is just not worth the frustration that can be had at the living homes you visit or the inevitable driving habits of late night drivers around you. The cons outweigh the pros and unless you are just wanting to work nights and sleep for the rest of the day, then this job is great. But if you want to be able to enjoy your life outside of work for more than 3 hours a day, then this job is not one I recommend at the slightest...

While a member of the pharmacy staff at Neil Medical Group, they demonstrated sincere interest in their employees, as professionals and as private individuals.  They provide clear description of their policies and procedures, their organizational values, and their expectations for employees, all of which effectively convey their associated culture.  Employees are encouraged to conduct their own problem-solving, but collegial support is readily available, and encouraged when requested.  There is an atmosphere of open communication, affording an exchange of ideas, methodologies, techniques, and expertise.  Equipment and devices are periodically updated to facilitate efficient accomplishment of operational objectives.  Realistic action plans are developed and implemented through communications among the leadership team and the staff.  During periods of organizational change, appropriate communication and support facilitate the transitions.  The Neil Medical Group provides a professionally challenging and comfortable work environment, with opportunity for professional growth and personal satisfaction.

Delivering bulk and individual patient medications to various Assisted Living Facilities throughout North and South Carolina via company vehicle.

Couriers drive various routes delivering medications to facilities while interacting with the nursing staff to ensure proper delivery and handling.

New couriers are given 1-2 days training with a knowledgeable courier assisting in their route before being assigned to a route of their own.  If any issues arise or help is needed during your route, a simple phone call to another courier or the supervisor usually sorts things out right away.

You find satisfaction with the job knowing that you are part of the team and process that ensures that individual patients/healthcare facilities are receiving the correct medications in a timely fashion.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is nothing good about working with Neil medical. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If you are any part of the minority, just know your pay won’t come close to any of your peers. The job will work you to death. If you need a major surgery and have insurance with the group, don’t tell them they will fire you so they don’t have to pay it. You can work at 8 AM and won’t get out of the job until 9 Pm, but they say it’s suppose to be an 8 hour shift. I obtained 96 hours within two weeks. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is like high school, they will gossip about you and the workers are messy. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It’s a mess from the beginning to the end.

They expect you to go above and beyond but when it comes to raises they give you the bare minimum. They reward every one (regardless of their poor work ethic) just the same. We are expected to pick up others slack if we are a good worker while the others sit around and talk. Management in the warehouse never goes directly to the issue, it's always a group meeting instead of holding those who are the problem accountable. There are hard workers out there, been there 6 years making $8.50 an hour while others who just started and aren't working hard at all are making $11 an hour. I suggest looking for the same position else where as you'll be paid better.

Wasted 8 years of my life at this miserable place. They lie to you about your hours and pay. They expect you to stay over time for things that are not a part of your job description. Anytime you take a day off, whether it be a sick day or a vacation day, they will go around and announce it to other employees to make you feel bad about it. You are basically yelled at for getting overtime even when they ask you to stay. And they treat their employees terribly, especially the drivers.PLEASE,  STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Pharmaceutical company  I really enjoyed working for Neil medical  Learning more about prescription drugs FDA approval Medicaid Medicare filling prescriptions pulling medication to fill them training measurements discharge of medication working with pharmacist mixing creams I really enjoyed working with the employees and the customers it was a really nice company to work with I would love to find another company as I also miss new me

Can be very busy at times and requires attention to detail

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Shift times will vary. 1 hour lunch break. Have specific tasks that must be completed during your shift

Oversee the receivables for Medicaid, Medicare and Third Party Reimbursements, Provide leadership and support to a staff in Kinston and Mooresville NC.  Leader of training and cross training within the department.  Approve all sick leave, vacations, promotions, etc.

Floor technicians are paid the least out of everyone. You go in at 9:00am and stay until all of the work is done even if that means staying until 9:00pm. If you’re not part of the clique, you will be singled out. The rules don’t apply to every employee and only apply to those that aren’t a favorite. Management is horrible and not qualified for their position.
