What is the best part of working at the company?
The patients are the best part, this company doesn't communicate well with their nurses at all. The scheduling staff are outsourced located in India that require using whatsapp on your personal phone to get updates on patients.  Also, there's no patients , no patients, and no supervisor for any assistance. Not 
recommended!


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Meeting other nurses, staff and the patients. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mixed races, poor communication, under paid, 
and driving to clients homes for little pay. Pay rate is awful as well. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Communication with several APPS on phone, driving to patients homes with little pay.

A typical day at work at Neogen Care Company involves providing quality healthcare services, coordinating with team members, and managing patient needs. I believe I learned valuable skills in patient care and teamwork. Management at Neogen Care is supportive and focused on employee development. The workplace culture is collaborative and patient-centered. The hardest part of the job can be handling challenging patient cases, but the most enjoyable part is making a positive impact on patients' lives and seeing their health improve.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Doing the home visits and making referral for resources.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Some of the staff was the problem and some of them were petty and had some personal issues that they brought to the job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
OK.  l was mostly in the field and l avoided the petty ones that were messy if at all possible.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
l stayed in the field and did home visits.  I was good and l learned a lot about people and social isolation.

You only get 3 days of remote online orientation on how to chart and then 3 shadow visits in one day so really a total of 4 days of orientation. You hardly get training time so be prepared to feel like you are thrown in. Lots of information even for an experienced in-patient nurse with no home health experience.  Even after seeing patients, they are always contacting you after 6pm and you have to chart and schedule patients on your own. They pay you salary so you are expected to answer after hours. They pressure you to take more patients. 

I’d been working with the company for 2 years now as part time. I had a great orientation before I started. I had to do 2 shadow visits prior to doing my 1st visit. I like that we have homehealth notify app where  team members can post an update on patient’s status, so everyone involved in each case  is aware of what’s going on. And whenever I am asked to help outside of my area, I do get compensated. It’s also helpful that we have a mandatory meeting/ training once a month to get answers to some questions we may have and get connected somehow, as we all work remotely.

Horrible orientation, no training. They will throw you in and then when you ask for a day to catch up on charting because your new and orientation really didnt teach anything they will not pay you for that time. After I finally quit i was very behind in charting and they refuse to pay me for that time i spent working for this company. Horrible management dont care about staff 

I had a pleasant experience working for Neogen Care and would actually work for the company again. Great work life balance and supportive staff.  My only complaint is that I had a large coverage area. I am aware that is due to staffing and shortage of OTs in California. 

I love the support that I get from not only my department but others as well. I appreciate the owners being supportive in my ideas and my suggestions. Our Hawaii office is small but I receive a lot of support from our California office.

Great people to work with, values their employees.  Company grew and expanded in the last 3 years not only in CA but in other states too. Always have a lot of work to do but I feel like it’s better than to be slow on have no work at all. 

All data collection is outsourced and very unorganized. Case managers were not responsive and patient scheduling/organization was horrible. Documentation was sent back consistently with team making changes to completed forms.
