I overall love working for NeuroCare because my client is fun and kind. It's a laid back, positive atmosphere. 

2 complaints/cons:
I wish management would check in with their employees. Since being hired I haven't been contacted once to see how things are going on my end. Management is not personable. Most companies I've worked for have frequently reached out to see how I'm doing, ask if I have any complaints or areas that could improve, etc. They have also shown their appreciation monthly, and offered increased wages every few months (the cost of living has increased significantly with no wage increase in this company). They should care about this but they don’t. Because of this, most employees have quit and moved to other companies since I was hired. Most companies who work with no fault auto insurance offer better wages with wage increases for long term employees. With no fault auto, most are allotted around $18/hour to pay 24 hour caregivers. This means NeuroCare makes around $6/hour for every client. Increasing the hourly wage would enable NeuroCare to employ higher quality employees with decreased turnover rates. Right now, NeuroCare is constantly holding interviews and frantically trying to cover shifts. Wage increases are the answer to keep your committed, hardworking employees. 

The only other comment I have is that most cases have a “head CNA” that is responsible for the schedule. This often results in the head CNA taking their desired shifts and leaving the others with what is left over. It also often results with the head CNA expecting everyone to be extremely flexible when he or she wants time off, yet rolls their eyes when another employee asks for time off (even if requested in advance). The head CNA makes everyone feel like a huge annoyance for wanting to take a few days off 1-2 months down the road. I shouldn’t be yelled at for requesting a few days off months in advance!

These are the only 2 complaints I have. The job is otherwise excellent and I highly recommend!

NeuroCare Home Health is hands down one of the best companies  I have had the  pleasure of working for. The company really cares about all their clients and workers. There were multiple times that management reached out to thank me personally for working an extra shift or for picking up hours. When I interviewed for the job I explained that I was studying for my boards and they were able to make a work schedule for me that gave me plenty of time to study. When ever I had a problem or needed a day off it was never a problem and I never had trouble getting a hold of management. I graduated with my Occupational therapy degree in December and I am truly amazed by how much I have learned from working with my client and attending many events such as, support groups, and cycling. I would still be working for this company but unfortunately, I have had some medical issues come up so I had to resign, but NeuroCare has been overwhelmingly supportive through the process. I had a wonderful experience working for Neurocare and hopefully will be able to work as an OT one day for the company. This job would be great for anyone going into the medical field. You have the opportunity to learn so many skills and network with so many individuals.  If you would like a job that brings you knowledge, support, and  makes you feel fulfilled than NeuroCare is the place to go.

I've had a great experience working with NeuroCare Home Health! This was my first patient-care job and I learned invaluable skills and knowledge for direct care over the course of my time with the company. I was able to form a very close relationship with the person that I was an aide for as well as their family which I appreciated. I would highly recommend this job for any student looking to go into PT, OT, Nursing, etcc.. or for anyone who likes to make a direct impact on someone's life. As a student I didn't come across any problems with scheduling and it was easy to see the set schedule and request time off when needed. The management really cares about their employees and advocates for their clients which is refreshing to see. 

Working for neuro care was considerably one of the best jobs I ever had the owner Nick is an absolute saint he is kind he is fair and the environment they harbor is welcoming and everything you could hope for. Honestly if they had any cases near me I would definitely reapply. I was very happy and satisfied working there there was a great work life balance. Your compensated for your time and they are always willing to be flexible and work with you and I think that's very important with an employer especially these days . They really do care about the community and their clients and their employees

NeuroCare HR really cares about their clients and their employees. I've had a very positive experience working for them. CNA and HHA jobs have high turnover rates, and this one is no exception. This leaves the other employees to pick up shifts, which can sometimes be tricky. This is the only con I have! Overall, HR really wants you to feel appreciated. I picked up a few extra hours throughout a week and was rewarded with a gift card and a note, thanking me. Really happy about working with this company.

I loved working for NeuroCare Home Health! I worked for the company for one year during graduate school as a home health aide. As an occupational therapy student, I gained valuable skills and knowledge during every shift that will benefit me for a lifetime. NeuroCare was flexible around my busy school schedule and always accommodated my time off requests. Management is superb and cares a lot about their employees and clients. I would recommend this company to anyone going into the health field or anyone with a desire to help others.

I have overall enjoyed my work experience with Neurocare. The management team is responsive and grateful to their employees. I've never had an issue with them, and know I can rely on them. My rating is based off my personal experience, but yours may be better or worse depending on your relationship with your client. My client fails to notice the boundaries between work and home life. While this may not be an issue for some, constantly being haggled to be added on Facebook, or come over to your house, or requesting your friends/family on Facebook, has put me at ends with my client.

I was offered the Head CNA position with zero training, I've been winging it since I started. We have been short staffed for almost 3 months and the Head CNA is the one who gets to figure out the schedule with limited staff. Most of the staff is working overtime to make up for it and management couldn't care less, they are very out of touch with their cases. A lot of pressure is on Head CNA to keep things organized but they're given no direction what so ever. I love the job and clients but don't like working for this company.

The company seeks to foster a fun and enjoyable environment that benefits both employees and clients alike. The hours are very flexible and the team mindset of employees creates an environment where every player is equally important and cared for.

NeuroCare is a great company to work for! They are understanding of your personal schedule and are willing to work around your needs. HR is always there to listen and help to figure out a solution if there are any issues. Schedules are consistent, other caregivers are friendly and helpful, and you get the opportunity to build a strong relationship with your client since you typically work solely with one client.
