Other than the pay there's nothing positive I could say about working for this place. The lure you in with this amazing benefit package and really good pay but once you're in there you see the true colors. Management is horrible, unsupportive, judgmental, they make assumptions, are disrespectful, and play favorites. So having this example the majority of employees fall right into that as well. It's a very clicky environment it felt like I was back in high school. Not to mention the unethical behaviors I saw. Oh yeah management and human resources also like to lie to their employees. After coming back from a 3 week absent from me and my child having covid I was told I had to go sign paperwork since I was out for so long I had no idea I was walking into a termination. I had no write-ups no issues no warnings prior to that. And when I went to go gather my belongings my"Team" completely ignored me. The disheartening part of it all is it really is a wonderful facility I once was a patient there and they treat their patients amazing and the treatment they have is beyond any expectation I ever had. But what breaks my heart is even the CEO it's just as disrespectful and unprofessional to the non-degreed employees. Basically if you don't have a college degree or a high status financially you're nothing at this place. There's enough money in this world that would ever make me even consider going back.

After you are hired, you will be told one thing, but then things change.  You will be told "you were told when you were hired...." 

No help from upper management when you have issues with leads or manager.  Leads will change the schedule where comments were made about leaving early, coming in late, long lunch, etc.  So you then get written up for unapproved schedule changes.  
No confidentiality. 
No teamwork.  
No appreciation.  
Only backstabbing, rumor spreading, gossip.  

When fired, they will wait until you have finished your shift before escorting you out of the building.   Some people are not allowed lunches or breaks, while others get multiple/extended.  Some areas are short staffed, but people will be "let go" because their position has been eliminated, thus creating more short staffed areas.  

NMCC is all about what is best for themselves and not about keeping the employees happy.  They are constantly worried about how to save money, that multiple positions are now combined into 1 position.  You are overworked, underappreciated, stressed, and then get written up because you are unable to complete all the duties assigned; even though you are doing the work of 2+ people.  

ALWAYS EXPECT ANYTHING YOU SAY TO ANYONE TO BE RELAYED BACK TO MANAGEMENT!!!!!!   It is best to keep to your self and do not make friends here... There is a possibility they will turn everything you say against you.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The patients and Medical Specialties staff. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of structure, untrustworthy and unqualified sernior management,  cliques (including senior management), failure to communicate, unwillingness to listen to suggestions for change to improve processes created by those not actually doing the work. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very clique-ish, from the CEO down. Due to this, they refuse to grow and act like a real company. CEO prides herself on how little management they have, not understanding that the management they do have cannot effectively do their jobs because they are spread too thin. Middle management is also there to help support staff. Instead,  they give the title of Lead to an MA and make that their responsibility in addition to having them work the clinics, causing burn out. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typically it is trying to find coverage or covering staff. Helping work other departments due to staff shortage.

When going to management or HR nothing stays confidential expect the whole building to know once you left the office. Company only cares about the money not the employees. Pharmacist is always gone or when they are there don’t feel like they have to help. Too much work for just two technicians rarely would get breaks and sometimes no lunches. Barely anytime off because there was only two technicians. Pharmacist gets all the praise when the technicians do all the work. Negative workplace and  gossip all over the building. Very draining and stressful place to work. Always had to worry if you were going to have a job if you went to HR or just in general. Management would tell us how they have resumes on their desk just to threaten us. I would NEVER tell anyone to work here or send my love ones for treatment. Maybe would be better if they got rid of some or all of the management. 

Although very busy, I loved my job & co-workers. We all had the same goal & purpose. Now our only goal is to make it through the day and avoiding having to talk to the manager at all cost. The environment and culture in the billing department has become a don't speak unless spoken to type of place. Don't dare question anything, have an opinion, or say that you think the manager is wrong about something. She will make it her purpose to break you. I really used to love coming to work. Now I sit in my car in the parking lot wondering if I can make it through another day. It's not the work. It's the management. I am sadly currently looking for a new job. I'd hate to leave the company, but I have to get away from the awful management. To feel sick to my stomach daily over coming to work is not the place for anyone.

The work environment is not bad, everyone for the most part keeps to themselves. If you ever need help you might not get a lot of it but you will be helped to a certain degree (proportionately low.) Management is there for you, the open door policy makes it easy to talk about business matters that you would like to bring to their attention. Co-workers are good at what they do and are friendly, but again it may be best to keep to yourself as drama may arise if you show up to work for more than work (friendly interaction can turn into back stabbing real quick.) The hardest part of the job is that you may not get the assistance you need when it comes to completing certain tasks. The most enjoyable part about the job is you get to work as if you aren't under constant supervision, you work at your own pace and hopefully that pace is fast or above average because there is a lot of work to be done in one sitting.

The CEO is an inspirational leader with a vision for positive change. However, her frequent absence from the clinic seems to have created a leadership vacuum. Management consistently oversteps professional boundaries, with leaders making decisions for departments they lack expertise in. This lack of proper oversight and clear direction results in inefficiency and a lack of productivity. During my time there, the company's accounting officer and the director of the specialty clinic seemed to be making all the critical operational decisions, which was both bizarre and confusing. The organization needs significant leadership restructuring to achieve its growth goals.

Stay far away!! The pay isn't worth what you will go through to work here. The work load is overwhelming, then you will have to do other people job when they don't do their job. Rules only apply to certain people. You will get written up but someone else won't for doing the same thing. The favoritism from management is astronomical. Advancement comes based on favorites, not seniority or job performance. Managers dont care if you leave either. You will be replaced in a heartbeat. Management is a joke. No support with any issues from anyone. CEO tells you to let her about things even anonymous, then makes jokes about them in her weekly email. HR says there is confidentiality, but it's a lie. Emails about your so called confidential conversations are sent to your manager and CEO.  

If you love working with cancer patients then you will love the job. No opportunities for advancement. No tuition assistance but they do pay for your license renewal. Often disorganized across the clinic due to high turnover of patient care coordinators, medical assistants and inexperienced management. The parking is nice. Do not expect a lunch break where you can actually leave the floor and have some respite. Compassion fatigue can slowly creep up on you as you are in an environment that unfortunately cannot always guarantee survival for your patients. Catty team members, very clique oriented and bullying behaviors are never addressed. No real or measurable value recognition for long term employees. Pay raises are sporadic and minimal. 

Worked there for 4 months. Had 0 experience compounding other than what I did in school 13 years ago. All I can say the lead tech at the time was awful when it came to training. Always something new everyday to complain about. Negative energy all the time. 2 techs left as soon as I got hired on so there was hardly training with me. Pharmacist in charge was cool, nurse manager was cool, had another Pharmacist that would work once a week, she was cool. Training, people leaving, attitude problems spoiled the entire experience there. It's like high school.
