NTBHA has a supportive work culture and environment. They care about the people they serve and have healthy expectations for staff and a mission to help others. If you want an employer that challenges you in a positive way to grow professionally this is a job you will love. Especially if you want to help others. They are well respected and pay well. They do train specific to your department. They offer a lot of free training and CEU opportunities.  Mentoring and extensive training for new employees is available and a lot of helpful coworkers willing to answer questions. Supervisors will give you feedback and assistance with the goal in mind to help employees grow so they can best assist the individuals we serve. There is great teamwork with colleagues not only in one's department but it other departments as well. It is a well run organization. Plus, There is always room for advancement. A really great place to work that does offer variety, stability, & opportunity for training and growth as well as advancement. 

Micro managed by management who no one has ever met in person. They work from home and no one even knows the management team or CEO. Job responsibilities are not what they provide during interview and with offer. No raises, no employee appreciation, they deny days off for earned vacation time. PTO is less than 8 hours earned per month. The turnover is unreal and lack of staff never ending. Management makes promises and does not follow through at all. This place is run by 3 individuals and the CEO has zero involvement with employee relations. No overtime pay but be ready to work over. No breaks at all. All is based on so called “Company need”. Hard to imagine NTBHA is a mental health agency when they run their workers into the ground and could care less about employees well being. Say one thing and do another for big paychecks going only to management. It’s scary!! 

More Directors/VP's than workers. Managers are too busy with ??? to respond. People are being forced to return to the office. Very Chaotic - Moral is VERY LOW - People are leaving or trying to. Lost or will lose - 50% of the group I worked with! There are no Annual Reviews - Raises come every 2-3 years - if at all and do not keep up with inflation!!! No one will respond if you need help - but when someone complains - it will be your fault!
For a group that has soooo many directors/VP's - you think you could get one to help out. It can take a week to get a response to a request - if at all. We were told over and over - it is our job to make sure our manager did their job. You need to hire "Servant Leader" - not people that say - "Business Needs" - over and over!

Overall, NTBHA is a great place to work. Good management, good pay, and good work/life balance. They offer hybrid work schedule, and the organization is working towards adopting a DEI mindset . A couple of cons (at least in QM department) - once you learn your job duties, it doesn’t really feel like I can grow my skill set anymore, unless you willingly offer to organize an event or become more active in workgroups (which aren’t directly related to my actually QM job). QM department is also handling phone coverage for the general line; even though a receptionist was hired for this job, management is still expecting QM to take this responsibility.

Working remotely from home and able relax 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No productive communication or any type team meeting. Working 6 days a week with no time off unless someone volunteered to cover shift 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No motivation and no opportunity to move up

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Because of my previous experience I was to manage well unless CCO decided she wanted to change things without notice

I loved working with the familles, learning a new program and connecting with some of my coworkers but the upper management had trust issues with staff that created a stressful micromanaging work environment. It hindered the growth I could have had in my role and gave me a bad work experience. Some of the procedures were not organized that caused more stress on top of not feeling comfortable with upper management overly anxious and involved. 

I've had the pleasure of working with NTBHA and they have been beyond supportive. Providing weekly supervision and consultation for all cases and needs that arise. Not to mention the wonderful clinicians I have been privileged to learn from. Although at times this work can be a fast paced environment, there are lots of opportunities to hone your therapeutic skills.

It creates an environment where maintaining a healthy work-life balance isn't just encouraged, it's prioritized. With initiatives like flexible hours and remote work options, I feel empowered to manage my responsibilities effectively while also having time for self-care and relaxation. This equilibrium contributes immensely to my job satisfaction and overall happiness.

A place where you want to stay long term! I first came in a little intimidated as everyone is super smart, knowledgeable, and professional. But as I talked with them and just asked honest questions, I saw each person really open up and want to help out. This place is different b/c not only are they smart and professional but they’re friendly and genuinely care about each other.

This place runs like a well-oiled machine. I always hear people make this reference but not until now have I actually witnessed what that means. Admin folks are always there to help, Clinical team is the same. My CM is always finding ways to help me become better and keeps me abreast of everything I need to know to do my job well.
