I have worked for this organization for more than 15-years and in a role that directly supports patient care. While no workplace is perfect, my experience here has been professional, structured, and patient safety-focused. 

In my experience, the organization’s culture values responsibility, dedication, teamwork, collaboration, and attention to detail. It can be a demanding environment, as Health Care  often is, but I have found expectations to be fair & transparent, and Leadership is very accessible when questions or concerns arise. 

In my experience, Leadership has been consistent with their high standards in infection control practices, maximizing the safety of our patients and mitigating risks posed to our patients and employees. With the combination of a generous PTO accrual benefit, proactive communication, and established protocols, I feel confident that I can openly utilize my PTO benefit when I feel that I may personally pose a risk to our vulnerable patient population or to coworkers. 

This is truly a workplace that prioritizes patient safety and compliance. 

I work at Northeast Rehab as a PT and have had a really positive experience here. One thing that stands out right away is that they prioritize quality patient care with 1:1 treatment sessions, which is becoming harder to find in outpatient PT!!

The environment is very supportive and collaborative, and I have always felt comfortable asking questions or bouncing ideas off coworkers. There is also a lot of flexibility with clinic locations since they have 20ish clinics in the area. Another big plus is that the company often helps cover continuing education and genuinely encourages clinical growth and development. I had formal mentorship with time blocked off on the schedule and learned a ton from experienced clinicians.

Overall, it has been a great place to work and grow as a PT, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for good support, fun environment, and mentorship.

This is my fourth job as a physical therapist and it has been my favorite of the four. One on one time with patients is valued here and that was a huge bonus to me. While pay might be lower than somewhere like a private practice, the benefits are great (good PTO, health insurance/dental, etc) and there are opportunities to get bonuses. All of the therapists here are so smart and dedicated to their patients. They use WebPT, which has its pros and cons, but they just implemented an AI system that has made it easier. Overall employee satisfaction seems much higher here compared to my previous jobs. Employee retention is also higher and greatly valued. Although some clinics might be small and not have a lot of therapists, there is a list within the network of therapists who are interested in/specialize in certain things so there is always someone to help if looking for advice or assistance with a certain diagnosis or patient. 

Northeast Rehab truly puts patient's first. Personalized one on one 45 minute treatment blocks with adequate time to assess and treat. Bonus program for meeting productivity rewards hard efforts on keeping schedule full.   It is a supportive and fun work culture with excellent job satisfaction. Flexibility in schedule to support work life balance.  The leadership team listens to staff concerns and has been responsive to listen and address issues.  WebPT now enhanced with Prediction Health (AI) to assist with documentation cutting done time spent on paperwork.  The company has many therapists with specialties who are always willing to share their knowledge.  Management supports therapists who are interested in clinical and professional advancements with interest in retaining staff.  Highly recommend NRHN!

There is lack of help from the LNA’s, Nurses and Management. I’ve been sent messages about budgeting and how nurses have been staying there too long documenting for hours therefore they have been having leaving the hospital understaffed. Having patients that take more than one person to help transfer and not being able to rely on your nurses for help when the rest of the aides are busy is terrible. The nurses and aids don’t check up on you and disappear and hide to not answer their lights or help with anyone elses. There’s lack of organization. While already busy instead of helping you out when you’re behind they just tell you what to do and add on to the work load that you already have.

I have had a great experience working at Northeast Rehab as a physical therapist. One of the biggest benefits of working here is the one-on-one treatment model. It allows me to give my patients the attention and quality of care they deserve, which is one of the reasons I became a PT in the first place. The clinic prioritizes patient care while still supporting therapists and their professional growth.

The work-life balance is excellent compared to many other outpatient settings. My schedule is manageable and I appreciate having Fridays off, which gives me a long weekend and time to recharge. That kind of balance makes a big difference in avoiding burnout and staying motivated in the profession.





I initially interviewed for a position and was not ready to leave the job I had. When I was offered a second interview a few months later, I realized that this was an opportunity I should consider. I am happy I did and have been working with this company for 20 years now. I have had several supervisors along the way and all have contributed to my management style. Although I may not always agree with every aspect of the job, I truly enjoy what I do and the service I provide for so many. NRH has great benefits and a supportive team environment. When my family needs services, they always come to this agency and I would recommend it to anyone.

For housekeeping best is weekends and holidays for part timers
For laundry and trash personal, best times is part time or full time evenings

Heavy lifting and low pay (minimum wage isn't always the best even if you have experience)

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Hard work and be on your toes, the staff is friendly, training is always Good 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Day shift: 7am to 3pm
Night shift: 2pm to 9/10pm

I have worked here for many years and couldn't think of a better place to work.  You are viewed as a person and leadership as well as your peers genuinely care about you.  No job is perfect but NRH cares about their employees opinions and takes the necessary steps to foster a safe and enjoyable work environment.  

Patient care is top notch!  This is another area where NRH shines. I have been stopped on many occasions by patients and visitors who have nothing but nice things to say.  Several patients have even told me they are repeat customers since the care is so great.

It is a pleasure to be part of the NRH team!

It's a hard job and so rewarding. We see miracles on a regular basis.  We laugh and cry. Our relationship with the patients is intimate and professional at the same time.  We form relationships and trust bw pt/families and staff.
