• Lead new product development for packaging. Responsibilities include: design/development of primary package structures; coordination of line trial tests to ensure designs comply with existing packaging equipment; establish and maintain project timelines for speed to market demand; establish cross-functional visibility for project updates; creation of packaging material specifications; coordinate print proof approvals; and certify that artwork meets Legal and Regulatory criteria.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate packaging processes in an Integrated Process Team providing technical support for Norwich Pharmaceuticals Operations. Develop, evaluate, and improve packaging methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, packaging equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Create & maintain packaging batch records and SOPs; create bill of materials & routes; create & maintain packaging material and pallet specifications for internal use, order packaging components.
• Develop, draft, and execute test plans, line trials, protocols, and validation documentation to document engineering improvements in a GMP facility.

I think all you need to know is they have changed names due to being bought out at least 3 times in the last 10 years. While I was there I experienced harassment as well as in person and cyber bullying. One of the management's favorites had a crush on me and both her and another employee used to touch me and make me feel uncomfortable. They knew I was married and had a child but continued this behavior anyhow. After I rejected her she began to make up lies about me to management and discussed this with other co-workers on fb. Eventually I luckily was laid off since I was a long term temporary worker and escaped from the stressful situation I was experiencing.

Very helpful and can grow to a great hourly pay

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They don't give people with health disabilities chances if they seriously need to be out from work to go to the ER

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company fired me when I had to go to the ER the 2nd time in one week over extreme back pain that had to have me have surgery. I was told from thr 1st doctor's note that things like that wouldn't be held against me. The company is very discriminating!

NPI's management is completely disorganized. Many people have left because they get frustrated with the administrative side of the job. The work is easy and repetitive. They claim to be research and development when they aren't. I would say the most difficult aspect of the job is having so many co-workers that are not trained properly, but asked to train others; which just perpetuates poor laboratory practices. 

Additionally, there are a lot of health and safety violations that go unnoticed because no-one reads information about the drugs they're working on. 

I would recommend NPI as a starting point, but not a place to have a career.

A typical day at work included billing insurances for patient services, billing and collecting payments from patient balances due after insurance payments received, recording patient payments, and contacting patient insurance carriers regarding unpaid patients claims.  Heavy patient and insurance carrier interaction and contact.

The people there are amazing to work with. They are very knowledgeable and open to communication.

Open to communication and change with a let’s get things done mindset.

This is good place to work. little hectic in analytical lab but in formulation very good environment. In analytical lab group leaders are bossy and they believe they are only one who runs the company but except analyticals labs (QC as well as MDAS) every thing good.

I worked there as their EHS / Safety Manager for several years.  I had the opportunity to work close to home again and decided to take advantage of the new opportunity elsewhere.  Great bunch of people there who truly care about safety and their products!

Interesting work
Production scheduling is weak. The solution to poorly managed schedules was overtime with short notice. 
Constant conflict between company and union. 

Reasonable hours considering position.  Hardest was usually year end and audits, but great team work for area.  Needs to have more  communication.  Seems there are not consistency between departments, some have unlimited funds to resources, others very very limited funds.  Benefits (health and pension) very good given today's environment.
