This company offered what I was looking for at the time flexible hours and a good team spirit.
I found that the management did not provide the training and feedback in a timely fashion and I often felt that I was bothering them with questions when an unusual call or situation arose.
It was wonderful answering all the calls from patients looking to schedule, reschedule or cancel their appointments and it felt great being able to assist so many people in making their lives easier by providing the doctors offices with after hours services.
The co-workers were the BEST still friends with many of them.
The hardest part of the job was not getting the feedback or concrete instruction needed to do the job. There were also those rare calls from people that were irritated or upset by either the calls or the situation they were going through.  I never minded these calls and 9 times out of 10 the person ended the call on a positive note and I felt that I had helped them.
The most enjoyable part was going in and knowing that I was able to do the job and maintain the pace and at the end of the day I had nothing on my desk waiting for me the next day. It was an instant gratification kind of job that you could take in little pieces and feel like you had accomplished what you set out to do. 

This is one of the worst jobs I’ve taken. Most call centers have at minimum a 3-7 second interval between calls. There is nothing like that here, it is genuinely call after call. The pay is good, but the work is so stressful that it’s not really worth it. What is the point of part time if you’re working 6 days a week? The training is garbage, it’s completely on your own with no trainer or real nesting time. The job itself is simple enough and might even be enjoyable if there wasn’t so much pressure to hurry up, take the call, take perfect notes, and send them out before the next call comes in. The calls come in immediately one after the other, it’s never slow and there aren’t any breaks at all. If you add any after call time, supervisors reach out to you to tell you that you shouldn’t be taking after call time. There are zero benefits, no options for advancement, no way to do full time. The supervisors are rude as well, and entirely unhelpful. No leadership ever answers their messages or emails. If you can choose to hold out for a different job, I would. I’m doing everything I can to get out of here. 

Notifymd was acquired in 2010 by a much larger company that started to change the culture of the business.  Several upper mgmt employees resigned, prior to my job being "eliminated" in Aug 2013, due to the changing of the company culture.  When it was still under notifymd management I enjoyed the culture, the people, and the day-to-day operations of the business, as was apparent by my longevity with the organization.

It was a job that made some extra coins when needed. They pay as stated and you can get some OT once eligible. It get monotonous after awhile. You can have 10k fantastic phone calls but the one Karen you get will get you fired so don’t expect to be there comfortable or for a long time , the Karen calls do happen and will happen. 

It was an every man for himself type environment.  There was not a lot of employee camaraderie.    There was a lot of employee turnover.   Employees were not given resources necessary to be productive.  We found ourselves spending way to much time trying to research leads.

I very much enjoyed my time here. If you want to get hired, be prepared to pass a spelling test of the 50 most commonly misspelled words in the U.S. Requires accurate and fast documentation, but rewarding customer service work. Opportunity to gain experience dealing with and speaking to high level professionals.

The job is stressful and the pay is average at best. The people are great, but the management is a little slow on the ball. The hardest part is taking call after call that deal with angry patients, without being able to really collect yourself in between such calls without it looking bad on your performance.

We were an answering service for Medical Providers, I learned a lot about Medical terminology and coding, The mangement team was phenomanol, I had the pleasure of working beside great people. The hardest part of the job was pleasing the Providers. The most enjoyable part was the team and making the Providers and clients happy.

I accepted a part time position and let the hiring person know what days I was available. They had me on the schedule to work 6 days per week when I told them I could only work 5. This was an error on their part and they refused to correct my schedule leaving me no choice except to resign. 

Was a great place to work, & meet alot of great people.  The job was challenging at most.  Loved my coworkers.  Days always went by fast since we were answering for dr's & hospitals all the time
