During the time I worked for this company I had no issues . Met some great people from Coordinators to District managers and Higher up positions .Whom I can still contact today if needed. I worked in area care facilities as relief staff . Also did the occasional private duty case and maybe a visit or two. I enjoyed  going to the office and seeing the staff. Daily pay is convenient .Office staff treated you well and with respect .Knowing ,"without the nurses they would not have a job".I learned that with daily pay, you wouldn't want to work that next shift because you had money .What I disliked the most was there was no consistency in work. Registry Nursing could be difficult .You need to be 100% flexible with availability and travel .That is the only way to make money . I was not all that flexible as far as shifts and traveling. Then you get to know the facilities you worked at. Some you liked ,some you did not. (Sometimes they did not like you).Staff always tried to find you work and at times tried hard .Even if they were just doing what they did to fill the job  All in all ,in my area, this company and its staff, were awesome.Not so sure what the staff is like because it was some time ago I was employed here. I do know that same management is still there. Which tells me this office is still awesome.

A typical day at work includes morning rounds to ensure that the residents are safe and clean.  My morning starts off getting my team of residents groomed and ready for their day.  Getting them to the breakfast table in time for breakfast is usually my first challenge of the day.  I then get everybody fed and remove them from the table as they finish their breakfast.  After that I begin my showers for the day and vitals.  I then begin my documentation stating how I cared for each resident so far for that morning.  After that I start making beds and making sure everyone's rooms are tidy and get everyone toileted and changed if needed.  By then it is time for lunch.  After lunch is completed it is time to assist residents to the toilet and to bed if needed.  The last task of the day is to finish documentation for the rest of the day.  I love what I do.  The residents level of comfort is always my first priority.  I do what I can to ensure that they are as comfortable as possible.  Making the feel loved and reassured is also very important.  The hardest part of the job is saying goodbye to them when they move out or pass away.

I worked for Nursecore for 3 years and although they always had time for me in the nursing homes, some of the places were not good places to go. When I had an issue at the facility, the office staff were not very helpful at all. I worked home care too and got screwed with a case where I got hurt eventhough I told the agency that the client was hard to lift and something had to be done. Nothing was done and I ended up quitting.
The office staff have their favorites, if your not one of them then you will not get as many hours or your the first one canceled. Cancelations happen quite a bit, which comes with working agency, but the staff wouldn't call you until an hour before the shift if at all. I can't tell you how many night shifts I showed up for and was told that I was canceled...not fun. I wouldn't recommend this agency purely on the fact that the office staff are the worst of the worst. If you can deal with constant rudeness and unprofessionalism then you might choose Nursecore.

If you are new to the healthcare field this is a great company to work for because you learn a lot with all the micro managing that goes on. The culture of the company is all work and no play, you still have to come into the office if there is a snow storm (which includes shoveling your car out of the end of the drive way and taking 3 hrs to get there). They have the capability to allow staff to work remote but refuses too. Management is stuck in their own ways and do not take on new ideas. Management will not support directors in firing some office staff due to favoritism even though these employees will yell at their superiors due to their superior being younger than them. You do not realize how poorly your paid until you find another job. Once you find another job you climb the corporate ladder really quick :)

A typical day at work involved assisting my client with personal care ( wash, oral care, dressings etc ). What I learned was the importance of working together to help those in need. I was able to manage my daily situations while working with clients by not working outside of my description and sticking to the individuals daily plan designed by their physician.Work place culture varied depending on the client which made my job more challenging, but interesting. The challenging part was the different beliefs between the client and myself and needing to know how to separate those things in order to be productive.The hardest part about my job was keeping things completely professional, meaning, not over stepping the client assistant relationship. The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing I made a difference in someones life.

	Traveled throughout 40-mile territory to provide home-healthcare services to pediatric, adult and elderly patients diagnosed with chronic/terminal conditions, or recovering from serious illness or injury. 
	Followed rehabilitation and treatment plans to accelerate patient recovery; minimize pain, discomfort, infections and complications; and optimize patient outcomes.
	Administer medication as doctors prescribe. Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects that may occur; reporting concerns to supervisor and doctor of patient.
	Optimize wellness levels of medically fragile children as an LPN with specialized pediatric care. 
	Assisted RNs and MDs, with treatments, therapies, and interventions to improve mobility, social/cognitive skills, respiratory functions and cardiovascular health.   
	Educated clients and their families on the safe treatment of injuries, illnesses and conditions.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The patients are the best part of working there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management staff clicky and fake friendly. Nobody mentions there if a "look back" period on a monthly basis for health insurance to remain in effect. Many times families cancel service at the last minute and  the company cannot reschedule you elsewhere. If you cannot achieve full time work each and every month, your insurance gets bumped. Ridiculous!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Home health...there is no culture. There is office staff, who get holiday pay and the grunt staff that do not. Separation of status shows vividly.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Caring for patients in their homes.

day started at 7pm or 7am.. I worked 12 hours a day.. and enjoyed every part of the job. I learned how to deal with patients with physical and mental disadvantages. My co-workers were very helpful and always willing to help when asked. The hardest part of my job is to say goodbye to starting my LVN career. I enjoyed the patients and the pay was great. The time I spend one on one with my patients and learning their different needs, Being relied on, driving my patient to doctor appointments, going out of town with my patient, and seeing my patient rehab have a positive effect on their progress toward healing.

I loved the facilities I was sent out to. Pay was good and talking to the office staff was nice as well. Come holidays, they just didn't give any hours at all for 2 months before they finally called me about a shift. Office staff looks out for each other. I was fired for a no call no show on a shift I gave availability on, but never accepted or confirmed. I have left all my jobs in great standing in two states. I have never been fired in 14 years. I take pride in what I do and I work hard. When it came time to renew my license, I had nothing but trouble trying to get the 5506 nar form filled out calling the office in town. Gave me so many run arounds on why they couldn't send the form to corporate like they did last year when I initially started the renewal process. I Had to call corporate and she wasn't nice either, but she got the form filled out. I would not work for this agency.

Working for NurseCore has truly been a wonderful experience from the interviewing process, the on 
- boarding process to the wonderful people I work with everyday. The fact that I love the work I am doing is only enhanced through the people I get to meet and different environments that I work in any given day. My job is never boring and I find myself often  actually wishing I was working on my days off. Management is so helpful and generous with their time and are a quick phone call or message away if you should need them and they always respond in a timely and friendly manner. I hope to continue working for NurseCore for many years to come and look forward to the people I will meet and the places I will experience.
