My day is always busy and unpredictable.  I never know if I am going to be asked to assist with the front desk or mail coverage.  I am always happy to help.  I work for the Consumer Division at Nutramax.  I also assist with 7 outside sales reps.  My day usually begins with checking my email because that is how I receive information about setting up for a trade show.  I may run into difficulties trying to find hotel rooms or reps to attend the exhibit at the trade show.  I build the palettes to ship out and work closely with the shipping and incoming departments.  The hardest part of my is working with the trade shows and the reps constantly changing or making different decisions about who will attend or if we will attend.  The most enjoyable part of my job is helping our sales reps in the field.  I have learned to be very flexible with this company.

Great Christian company which is rarely found now days. However, the Finance Dept. management is led with favoritism towards certain employees. There are bully's and competition within the department. There is no cohesiveness among team members. The work environment is toxic with a lot of gossiping and drama. Team members go to bible study during lunch break and still kept devilish behavior and attitudes going.  Management does nothing about it and actually fuels the problem. Only 2 employees were truly awesome out the group! You will not be happy in a role in the Finance Dept. with this company. Stay Far Away! If I could give negative stars to the Finance Team at this company I would. Just Terrible.

As a previous CSR with Nutramax Labs, I can say the work day is never the same. There is always something different but it's such a fun environment & the people are absolutely wonderful! If I hadn't gotten married & moved almost 2 hours away, I'd still be working there. Nutramax is a private, Christian company with strong morals and values. This was a huge selling point for me. They treat all of their employees equally, they do free lunches every Wednesday with Bible Study and they do many other special things throughout the year to keep you smiling & motivated. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work for during that time in my life. I would recommend Nutramax to anyone looking for a job.

The best part about working at Nutramax  is that their a family oriented company and they put Christ first. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part about working at Nutramax for me, is working overtime. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment and culture  at the company is diverse. Different people of all origins bring different ideas to the table and together we make great Quality product.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day for me consist of effective communication, being a listening ear for the employees, but most importantly, working safe.

Very bad work atmosphere.  Management was at a high school mentality.  A lot of favoritism and racially based.  People would only work with there friends, others were kissing but and talking all the time and not doing the work but treated better by the management.  People were sabotaging the job and blaming others and the management favored these people.  People were bossing and harassing and others and being favored by the management.  I was promised a job with them, quit a job and them laid off due to lack of there work.  Hate not working it really hurts but that is not a good place to be.  The employees they do have many were unhealthy, did not work and slept at the job and the managers would discriminate politically against you.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I have all but great things to say about my time at Nutramax ,wish to God I could of relocated to South Carolina with them . 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I will not answer this due to the fact that people change

Great place to work ,my co workers was good people with compassion for others . Again I loved my time there 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
At times very busy ,other not so much as long as PMs was done and my machines was running good .

If one could choose where to close out his/her career, I would readily cast my vote for Nutramax.  Senior accounting management expressed a strong support for all in the accounting section and readily listened to and often accepted ideas and/or options for handling periodic reporting of financial results.  This contributed to the most enjoyable part of the job.  As accounting functions were transferred to the South Carolina facility, my tenure was extended several times to continue working with the accounting manager to assure the accurate and complete transition of all functions.

I'd start at 8:am and work until 5:pm, my day's would blow by because I was constantly busy, which I loved.  I'm not a clock watcher, so most of the time I'd have to be reminded for breaks and lunch.  I learned so much in a short period of time, that it was a shame they didn't have the full time open position.  Everyone all around was pleasant and most had very happy dispositions about them.  I felt nothing was difficult and came easy for me, so I'll miss Nutramax.

A typical day at work is receiving and applying cash to vendor accounts. Creating credit for returns and researching shortage and over ships. Scan all checks to back and process credit card payments.
My co workers are the best we work as a team like peanut butter and jelly.
Hardest part of my job is that the company is moving to SC and I love working for this company but I am unable to move with them.

My typical day begins with entering the orders for our Start Cosamin Program.  Some days I have 40 entries and others over 200.  When I have finished I work on trade shows.  I pay the fees, order the electric, shipping.  I also reserve the hotel rooms.  I also pack for the trade shows by selecting the displays, the literature, and products to send.  I finish up by contacting shipping and fill out the paper work to have the pallette shiped.  When I am asked I also help out with the mail room or the front desk.
