This company promotes by who likes you, fact that they KNEW in May 2018 that the company was going to go from "family owned" to "publicly traded" I question their integrity as an employer in hiring people knowing they wouldn't keep them. When I worked there, the Ocoee office "HR Dept" was 2 people, 1 who used to work in finance.....2. Also, they worked from home, so if you needed something done, too bad for you until they got to you. I was told by the HR manager at the time that she couldn't help me with anything on a day I needed to meet with her that she didn't work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I never got the meeting anyway.I worked in Finance, and because the CFO truly disliked me and was looking for ways to fire me, I was let go during their "Reduction in Force" in January 2019. I refused to play the game of "work family" and interacted minimally on a personal level. I should have known that a company that was inflexible regarding something as small as how long you go to lunch (I didn't need an hour, sorry!) wasn't going to work for me. It really wasn't a good look that I was told by a peer that I took too many days off to bury 2 of my sisters, and migraines are an issue as well. I asked for the MLK holiday off, didn't get it, but don't you know that I was laid off ON MLK day! I only regret not being there to see the fat lady who is the CFO lose her job, because to this day, I don't know how she got it. She berated people, talked down to employees, and in short was just a stuck up fool. If you're looking to work there, I have one word of advice: DON'T! I never thought that I'd think working at my employer I left to work for them was a better deal, but I do now.

As a former employee of the Transaction Data System workplace, I feel compelled to share my experience, which was far from positive. From the moment I joined the team, it became evident that the management lacked a clear vision and structure. The training process was rushed and poorly organized, leaving new hires feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. This lack of guidance carried over into daily tasks, resulting in confusion and inefficiencies that not only impacted our productivity but also created a stressful environment for everyone involved.

Communication within the company was consistently inadequate. Important updates were often delivered late or not at all, leading to mistakes and misunderstandings that could have easily been avoided. Employees were discouraged from sharing their ideas or concerns, creating a culture of silence that stifled innovation and morale. Furthermore, the outdated technology we relied on hindered our ability to perform effectively, making even simple tasks unnecessarily complicated and frustrating.

Additionally, the work-life balance at Transaction Data System was virtually nonexistent. Long hours were expected, with little regard for personal time or mental well-being. This relentless pressure ultimately led to burnout among many employees, including myself. Overall, my experience at Transaction Data System was disappointing, and I left feeling disillusioned and undervalued. I hope that management takes these concerns seriously and works towards creating a healthier and more productive work environment in the future.

I think this company should receive a negative rating because of how terrible this place is. I have only been here two weeks and already quit. This is a customer service representative position and I thought the calls would last maybe ten minutes or so, not hours. The "training" was poor and no one here knows what they're doing. 
Ticket backlog was terrible and had terrible response time. Pharmacies were mad because there was no call back on any tickets, and most of the time they figured it out themselves because they weren't hearing back from "support" Also they had this policy in place for working remotely to keep background noise, but that's nearly impossible when you have children that are under a year old.
I explained this to management and they just didn't seem to listen to me. I tried to get into another position to prevent this, but again they had an excuse for that. So once I started taking calls and I can't control life so they got onto me again and just refused to listen. Unprofessional, uncaring, unsympathetic. This is just a poor example of a company. Stay away, no wonder why they have a high turn over rate. 

Transaction Data Systems is a company that buys up "competitors" and integrates their services into the company. Once integrated, they fire the staff from the acquired business and proceed to tear down anything of value they acquired.

TDS does not value the customer as can be seen by the wait times to help businesses that cannot function. TDS does not value the employee and constantly piles on more and more work with no room for advancements or promotions. 

The management team is made up of nothing but "yes" men that will promise you the moon but won't deliver a speck. 
The executive team is comprised of a fraternity of "old colleagues" that don't communicate with the management teams or to staff about any goals of plans for the company. 

It feels like working inside of a silo with management that provides no guidance and an executive team that is literally only focused on money. There is no soul left at TDS except for the support staff that is trying its absolute best.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There was none. I started work there and was supposed be trained Lv3 Technical Support, was never trained had to train myself to do the job from previous exp. The company was changing directions and moving to a new location. Even after the change and Moving downtown. There was no focus! And I was not given what I was promised… Training

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Have to figure out how to operate the system yourself!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was disgusting I have no problems with anyone’s gender affiliation, but do not talk about what you did during weekend out loud. While I’m on the phones with pharmaceutical clients. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Had to walk 2 city block from the car garage whether rain, sleet or snow. Get to the desk login and await calls for software support. Depending on call volume. Often would have to work OT while the people that got off at 5 had no worries. Then get off and walk 2 city blocks in the dark downtown back to my vehicle.

Lifeline updates are weekly, not daily. HUGE LIE. 

They lie to customers and they are getting shortchanged and have been for yrs.  

Managers are about # of calls, not quality of calls, the place runs on pressure, that is it.

There is no enjoyment at that place.  They have 4000 plus beta testers (customers), very bad. Software not adequately tested before being released. 

They are practically testing the software with ON their customers!

Benefits are being cut back, many have not gotten raises in a yr or more.

The number of calls are important but whether it was done right or not it does not matter. Make your calls and get bonuses, do your job right the first time, you get a kick in the butt.

Amazing benefits packages and starting pay. Reviews may or may not happen for you, and they can and will be held over your head. While the focus of the company is stated to be on the customer experience, in my experience it is on the employees instead. Management tends to focus on the day to day lives of employees and how each one may impact the company. While to some degree this is understandable, it is often times taken to the extreme here. Expect grand promises and "change is coming", but never hold your breath. Do not go above and beyond at this company, because it will be seen as your expected level of output. Not that you are exceeding, but that they can expect more out of you for the same pay. The company treats all employees equally well, leading to an environment in which passivity and complacency thrives, and customer service goes to die. With these things in mind in can be a decent job in the short term.

They need better training materials and be better at caring for their employees. They put people in positions who don’t know what they are doing but just listens to what ever the higher up tell them to do and can’t even explain the why. 

Don’t care for employees who have children at home and need extra attention while working from home during covid. They don’t care if you have to help your children and take a little more time than a lunch sometimes and always ask to make up my time but they will still fire you for doing right and knowing from the beginning that’s what was going on and still hired me anyways and fired me for the exact same thing even after them telling me to “just let them know” when I’ll need more time and I DID and still got fired ....

They care more about stats and numbers, the reviews were right total waste of time… no job security. Not a good place to start in IT with your experience they put you in jobs not relevant to you. Training sucks after 2weeks you proceed taking calls/tickets to gain experience and learn. Pay is consistent but not great if maybe it were $2k+/bi weekly it would be nice instead of $1,170/bi weekly benefits are good but waste of money. Not worth the 28-40min commute, can work remotely but they choose to keep in person. Environment/people are good, very nice, and educated… management is alright just the corporate or higher level the ones causing so many terminations and resignations.

The toughest job I've ever had with the worst attitudes from management. They are spiteful to their employees. They micromanage everyone and lack experience. No room for promotions. They won't listen to new ideas. They are constantly negatively talking about employees and there is plenty of passive aggressiveness. They will stop all breaks and lunches until their call volume goes down, which is never.  I worked here for a year hoping all of their changes would lead to better, but it didn't. My suggestion to the CEO is sell the company to people who care about helping the pharmacies succeed AND value their employees 👍
