A typical day starts off by getting things ready to open the clinic for the day by printing schedules for the next day to work up, checking the Medicaid list for eligibility and through out the day make sure all forms are completed for procedures coming up. Answering busy phones, and completing any task that needs done.    I work for a nice group of bosses and I have very nice co workers to work with as a team.  It is very important to work as a team in our clinic and have good communication.   The hardest part of the job to me is seeing a patient upset and/or crying from bad news they have received.  The best part of my job is knowing I made the patient experience at the office the best I can for them and showing them that I care.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay was very good, and if you needed time off, they were very flexible.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The employees were very clickie. If one person didn't like you, then they all didn't like you, including management. Very childish.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very "cold" and uninviting. If you didn't fit in, they will push you out the door.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very long and lonely if you don't fit in with your group.

Freq changes of employees - unhappy employees.  When I finally left I was so hurt by the physician I had loved, was very faithful to, and told I would be moved to another part of the office without any explanation at the end of a regular day without 1 one being said to me .  I left devastated, in tears over such treatment.  The doctor who told me just 2 days prior to my exit that she could not handle things without me - Never a problem/complaint had been voiced in my eight yrs of employment 

I enjoyed working on day to day basis, the management had changed 3 times while I was there getting worse each time. Communication is a thing that would need to be worked on along with employee privacy. My fellow peers do have a problem with teamwork however and are very eager to throw someone under the bus in order to try and get ahead. If you are not a favorite or best friend of supervision, there is no advancement opportunities, this includes HR which will also disclose out employee private information that other employees should not be aware of ( wages,Fmla, etc)

Staeted working as a LAB  TECNNICIAN in the sixties as a temporary employee.  Eventually, called to full time employment within the laboratory.  As the office practice grew I was asked to move to the business office and learn the ins and outs of billong, insurance , payables,etc.  At this time I also started booking surgical procedures for the five physicians within this practice.  When the business manager retired I was asked to be office manager.  I enjoyed my job and found enjoyment in seeing that the entire practice ran well.

like i said wasnt there very long, staff not very friend, did everything i was told to do. thought i was doing well, no one commented if i was doing good or bad, and then one day, i was laid off.

Professional, courteous, and friendly staff.  I look forward to coming to work daily with this group of people.  The doctors are caring individuals as related to both their patients and their staff members.  It is a fast-paced environment, but that makes the day go by well.

I loved working in a very face paced and extremely busy office . I love watching our patients go from finding out they were pregnant then delivering a child .

I enjoyed the multitasking that this job provided, The doctors showed in interest in wanting to teach me by allowing me to assist with procedures and sometimes in room examinations. They were a great team to work with.

Management makes inappropriate  comments. Work place harassment, not worth the embarrassment for the extra 1 or 2 and hour. Small practice so no formal HR department. Favoritism by management.
