I have been working here fore 2 years and love it! I was accepted with little work experience, and each bit of training I received so far has not only been beneficial in learning to complete the jobs I was being trained for, but I have also learned how some of the same skills can be applied to everyday life. The staff are easy to work with, and have always done their best to meet my individual needs. My benefit plans have been comprehensive, and enrolling in them each year has always been straight-forward. While many companies may claim to be equal opportunity employers, OKIN actually stands by this. Since I have been given the opportunity to work remotely, I am able to feel relaxed while focusing on my work quality, as opposed to the stress related to factors such as transportation to and from work, or the possibility of getting lost in a big building. I have found everyone here very enjoyable to work with; Even my supervisor is laid back and understanding. My higher-ups actually encourage social interaction and value getting to know us as individuals. I have also found them to be very approachable for any questions that may arise. If I needed to tend to an emergency, the staff has been understanding and flexible. OKIN not only treats us as valued employees, but demonstrates it each day through their culture and core values. As long as you continue to make an effort, they will try their best to acomodate you. I thoroughly enjoy working with OKIN and hope to remain here for years to come.

A typical day at work for me begins by clocking in and saying a nice hello in the group chat to the rest of my fellow tutoring employees. I spend the rest of the day waiting for students to pop in to our support chat to assist. While I wait, I work on either creating files of educational information or uploading those files to our database. I have access to a daily group chat where I can communicate with fellow tutors and my supervisor. My supervisor does a pretty solid job of keeping engagement and making sure everyone is having a good day. The hardest part of my day is if I get a student with a subject I'm not familiar with, but even then I have lots of support to tackle the issue. I most enjoy the trust and freedom to approach issues or tutoring the way we want. Our goal is to help students, and I feel like I make an impact in that. My one small complaint is wanting more hours, but even then my supervisors have given me as much as they can when they can. They even reach out when they have an opportunity, in case it works with my schedule. As long as you communicate what you need to succeed management will work with you to see how they can help

Don’t let the positive reviews fool you! Some of us were asked to write good reviews for the company last year when the company had laid off most of not all of the employees who worked in the secure workspace, to make the company look good. Just for them to lay off more employees, mind you after this massive layoff they assured us are jobs were “safe.”  Some of the higher ups are related so there is nepotism and favoritism. You can tell they promote from within because management is very mediocre, for lack of a better term. Most of them don’t have what it takes to be a good manager, therefore leadership is lacking. It’s a shady company. You come last,  the company’s best interest comes first. They promise a lot but in the end it’ll come at the cost of you. Low-pay, benefits(but at a higher cost to you), very-high turnover rate. If you want to advance, they will low-ball you. If you are desperate for a job, then work here, but I would still look for employment elsewhere as you never know when you’ll be laid off here. But in this job market, I would look for something more promising. 

The company is not too bad itself. You pick your hours and coworkers are the best part of the company. Just a reminder that this company is slowly growing so there are some adjustments that are needed. Training needs to be better especially if we are handling different accounts. Although the company has been doing some internal hiring so there is some potential for growing. My favorite part of the company is when the CEO buys employees food and brings bakery items from the hotel. 

the training was one worst I ever seen teaches nothing about role you are signing up. the two upper management who run this building have ran the moral into the ground as well as the company. A Company will not follow their own policies they have in place. If your not prepared brown nose the upper management  are a female in work place you will be disciplined for having your own voice. Also way better paying call centers in area very low tier pay for escalation work. 

OKIN BPS, Inc is a great place to work.  The company is growing fast and keeps reaching its goals month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter.  It is truly inspiring to be a part of a company that has incredibly smart and motivated people that truly aim to drive value and believe in the mission that helps get the job done for our clients, their customers, our employees, and the overall organization!

I have been with OKIN for almost a year and it's been an adventure! Everyone is there for you and guide you to success. The trainers here are accumulate and go above and beyond for the employees. There's room for advancement, as long as you put in the effort and showcase what you have done and plan to do for the company. I love the work culture here and how easy it is to make great work friends - which makes work even more enjoyable to come to!

Overall Okin has been a good place to work from home in the education field. Okin's education branch is quite new, and is experiencing a lot of changes that can be difficult to keep up with. Consistent, steady hours are not always guaranteed, but the compensation is good and I've enjoyed working here overall. 

One of the better places that I have worked. Everyone was very welcoming from the day I started to the day I left. Management had a great onboarding process to where I felt that I was comfortable with the day to day processes within a few weeks and always open for any questions I had. I had a relatively busy workload but never too much that I could not handle. Overall great work experience.

Great management, fun environment with helpful and friendly colleagues. CEO is the best. The atmosphere is it for me. I've been with the company for a while and they try really hard to develop their employees and if you work hard enough, there is a big opportunity you get promoted.
