Fresh out of training employees will be written up for performance issues. Expectations of more than one job for the compensation of a single job. Management does not vouch or advocate for the employees. HR is kind of helpful but not by much. If you have any health issues you better come in with paper work prior to being hired and that is from the current year. If you are a sensitive person do not apply, the people that call in will tear you down. If you are bilingual you are expected to use that skill without compensation. The micro aggressions are very vivid. Very number driven place, life is not something that they care for it to happen to employees, that’s an inconvenience to them and you are just disposable. If you have someone in your life that is sick and you are taking care of then you should look someplace else. When with doctor notes you will get the point. They don’t ask you for anything they expect for you to know how to handle any situation thrown at you. Management will never have your back they only care about numbers. Management always have their backs and HR too. If an employee receives a write up HR will pressure the management to pressure the employee to sign the write up. You will definitely will develop some sort of ptsd. Also if an employee reached out to advice of a work accident management will ignore it and so will HR. Can’t hardly request days off, they do a bucket system and there are hardly ever any hours to request for a day off in the system. They do 24 hrs for more than a 100 employees per day. You are expected to go through the “trainings” which some have paper work that needs to be read carefully especially the attendance policy but you can’t take your time to read it and understand it you have to read it off the clock. They only want brown noses and kiss assers in their teams. You can’t be an individual also they will ask you to provide them free work with a logo for a team that stays with them with a slogan and team name. They provide “engage points” which are meaning less when the stuff that you can “buy” with the points are 2K+ points and they only give out in the hundreds. You are hardly given any engage points of you are new. While on the floor there is a chat to ask questions but don’t expect your questions to be answered. Most questions go unanswered because “it’s unrealistic to have someone that manages the chat” while plenty of other businesses have dedicated teams that handle chat. If you are there at night only 3 to 4 people close and there are no managers. The phones close at 8:30pm and last manager leaves at 8pm. From 4:45pm to 8pm there is just a single manager on the floor therefore no supcalls. If you get a sup call you are basically in a pickle because the manager probably can’t take it and the person on the line will tear you apart.

Had I known this place was going to be this toxic I would have stayed at the old job.

Toxic work environment, time off policy, health insurance, work-life balance, management, no accountability for the callers- doctor office staff- adjusters- nor provider office staff, team members talk down to newer people, productivity policy, attendance policy, work 2+ jobs for the compensation if one, management lies to employees, management give false sense of security to then write you up, there is no time to adapt to the job, bilingual pay, expectations of skills without compensation, micro-aggressions, 

I wanted so bad to succeed and call it my career but the company kept disappointing me and letting me down causing me to realize that it is more of a High school environment where it's all about favoritism. it's not about hitting goals it's about who likes who and who kisses the most butt. If management likes you then you can go over your unplanned time off, not hit goals and still have a job however if you are not the typical kiss butt person and you go over your unplanned time off you will be terminated. if you question any of the poor management choices such as people that have zero experience in a specific Department being placed into leadership, you will be put on the naughty list and anyone on the naughty list they will Target and they will attempt to remove you from the company no matter how good you are at your job. Leadership wants to collect a large paycheck and do minimal work they want to be able to hide in their cubicles and their offices and be left to their Google search so that they can shop online or talk to their buddies or throw other employees under the bus who may intimidate them in some way but the moment that you need assistance you will either get passed off on to someone else or you will be misled with incorrect information. About half of the management and leadership team actually have the knowledge that they need in order to assist their representatives that depend on them for their guidance and knowledge the other half pretty much faked it until they made it and now they just have to kiss a lot of butt and be gifted with the art of manipulation in order to maintain the position which is basically slightly bent over puckered up. Many new employees resign within the first few months because they get frustrated with being given information that is incorrect by members of leadership and then are docked for it when they have a quality assurance check if the people in leadership don't know the answers are we supposed to expect new employees to learn correctly?

The Tampa location is 1- Un organized 2- Supervisors are placed in departments without proper experience and most have no leadership skills to lead their department.  3- lack of proper training of new employees  leads to extensive issues and delays in the files.
4- dental care coordinators, plan of treatment coordinators., staffing and clinical reviewer are under major stress to meet deadlines and goals. Making these departmens the most  stressful and most times unbearable.  5- supervisors ,most of them, ignore yoir request for help but they expect you to do things right away when asked. 6-  The departments I listed are placed with large amounts of files and no consideration. Mostly dental and doctor coordinators . You are expected to answer phones, answer emails, meet deadlines , make calls, schedule treatment and meet quotas with specific dolar amounts.  They expect you to do it or get fired.  7- high turn around rate.  8- Good benefits is the only great thing about this company. 9- The CEO wants and is planning to turn it to a call center which will make it impossible to Properly manage the files
 10- Insurance carriers  are being over charged for treatment so the company can obtain a higher gain to coordinate the file 
11- injured workers are waiting a very long time for treatment to be approved 12- Supervisors are not repremended for not obeying HR rules (cell phone usage, wearing sneakers, etc) .
13- constant changes being implemented but never leads to positive changes. 
  In conclusion, Some departments (billing, credentialing, treatment authorization and others ) have a low stress level but dental and doctor coordinators, plan of treatment, staffing and others have a very   high stress level which will only increase over time. Overall the company isi not one I recommend to build as  a career.

I worked there for almost three years.  I had a decent supervisor and team leader to work with along with the team and a few co workers.  I was kept busy and had recognition for exceeding goals.  This company has really fallen down the spiral though.  Everything is micromanaged and the managerial structure is very sloppy.  They treat us like "numbers" as opposed to "people". The workload is overwhelming with little pay.  You can't really move up anywhere unless you know someone.  Having workforce management involved makes things worse.  It's like they have control over everything and cannot speak to your own supervisor/team leader about PTOs or other personal matters. More like WTFis what they should be labeled. Turnover rate is too high and nearly people outside the call center are temps.  They focus too much on the little things rather than big things.  In town hall meetings, the management doesn't know what's going on in the call center and could care less about improving.  A few offices are closing down this year and raises questions about the others.  I'm glad I resigned when I could because they are trying to get rid of people.  Our performances rose up this year along with occupancy, QA score, and productivity with no pay increase.  The raises are terrible too even if you exceed.  Also,the bonuses have decreased as well.  Since there is no sick time, might as well be dead, in the hospital on leave, or just finding a new job to really have an excuse for being away from this place.  They also treat you like high school students than adults.  If  we can't be treated in more of a mature matter, then I can't see why we can't complain.  Not our fault if the quality is not met.

One Call Care Management is a very fast paced business environment that may be overwhelming for employees at first. After three years of working with One Call I've come to learn everything is repetition, the more you do the more you learn. The job can be stressful because of the different kinds of responses you get from adjusters, patients, and at times doctor offices whom can be very rude at times, especially when OCCM is not the vendor they like working with or a provider cannot be allocated within the network. A day in the scheduling, specialty, or referral department consists of answering questions for customers, taking referrals, and processing hundreds of e-mails and e-faxes for prescriptions and authorizations. About 95% of the federal holidays are given off and throughout the year each employee accrues approximately 127 hours of paid time off. The option of telecommuting is given to some employees after a certain of period of time, which can be great for those who look to get more out of the day since you don't have to drive to the office. Overall the biggest con of working here is the lack of advancement opportunities, this job can be great for college students if you are looking for a basic 9-5 job. There is opportunities to that arise from time to time to move up to supervisory positions but the odds are very low. Supervisors are awesome, once you get to talk to them and overall the company culture is great.

This company dosent deserve 1 star. A negative -10 would be more appropriate. The employees answer the phones and read off scripts like robots. They will tell you “ thanks for calling One Call” to end the call even if you've been working for them for many years. They do this in an attemtp to separate themselves from you as a independent contractor, in order to avoid being labeled as an employer. They dont want to be associated as an employer in order to save on automotive related expenses, auto insurance liability, employment taxes, workers compensation, health insurance and a host of many things which are required by the EDD of large companies. 

Management does not deserve to be in management. They do not know how to manage their driver operations. If you are a driver you will be under valued and treated like an outsider. They send you (at your expense) on dry-runs constantly, to incorrect addresses and chronically give out the wrong phone numbers for clients who you are to pickup for transport. Cancellations are often and again will be at your expense and time.

If you are interested in becoming a driver for this company you will be very disappointed.  Dont  waste your time. You will not be appreciated or compensated appropriately for your time, gas, auto expense and the wear and tear of your vehicle. A horrible company. This is by far the worst company in the medical transportation industry.

Please rush into this organization with excitement—your first 90 days will blow you away with how perfectly everyone behaves, making you believe you've found the utopia of jobs you'll never want to leave. Oh, but surprise! That’s all just a beautiful mirage. Expect top-tier training—just kidding, you'll get nothing and like it. Communication? Oh, it’s a masterclass in how to leave you guessing and feeling guilty for asking questions. Leaders and staff will be artfully pretending everything is fine while subtly hinting at the “culture” they refuse to acknowledge. Everyone will be on a power trip, and asking questions will be regarded as a capital offense. No matter your skills, prepare to feel totally inadequate—boosted ego not included. Promotions are awarded solely to the favored friends, and genuine career growth? Nope, that’s just a myth. The same handful of people will keep moving upward, showcasing real stability—if only you could be one of them. Witnessed people getting written up and then rapidly disappearing—funny how that works. As for bonuses and raises? Hilarious. Pay is way below what’s fair, but who cares? Most employees have been there forever just to survive on those wages. So, run as fast as you can—trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t. All those glowing reviews? Completely accurate. I definitely should have listened and saved myself the trouble.

This company was a great place to work for. Unfortunately, poor choices in top executives have driven away most of the employees that made it a great place to work. We have lost sight of our vision and mission, which makes in nearly impossible to stand behind what we do everyday if we don't know what goal we are working toward. We rarely hear from Senior leadership unless something was done wrong. You are rarely recognized for doing something right or for the hard work that is being done with a very lean staff force. The new "Engage" program that was implemented to increase a high performing culture is laughable...Supervisors and Managers are micromanaged to make sure that they are using the tool, liking and posting comments, and giving away point appropriately. This is the only way Managers are allowed to recognize their associates. Trying to keep a positive attitude is becoming harder and harder to do each day. I can't even being to understand why decisions are being made like they are. I feel really bad for our customers as they are not getting the best of what our company could offer and they certainly aren't getting quality customer service that they once were.

A typical day is clocking in and starting work already behind due to a mass amount of tasks assigned after hours the previous night.  I Immediately get more tasks assigned by 2 directors and an entire team that specializes in assigning tasks. When starting to work those, I receive emails from other team managers demanding to complete more tasks that need an answer by yesterday, yes yesterday. When working that I receive more tasks from providers I myself am responsible for throughout states in an entire time zone.

I learned that my team is expendable as we are not profit driven. I also learned that we do not have answers to the majority of issues we, as a team that deals with issues, should have but we get away with it by not delivering promises as stated in the pros to follow.

Unfortunately, my management chose to please the employees above them rather than the employees under them I feel.

Work culture is bad. Team members threaten to quit on a daily basis, in front of the entire team including the director in charge and it has never been addressed.

The hardest part of my job is finding a common goal for success with my colleagues.

The most enjoyable part of my job is leaving for the day.

Training was scrambled.  Trainer kept saying "we'll go over that later".  Later never came.  When you go out on the floor (call center), management is scarce.  The team leaders (Erika and Chelsey) are always hiding in the little cubicles in the back of the room.  We would always receive emails that had nothing to do with work (future potluck, birthdays, goofy memes, etc.). Erika lacks in basic communication skills.  She is unprofessional in an almost rude way.  There were at least two occasions that I had an upcoming issue with a planned absence that I requested a response from HR prior to me missing work.  I never received a response.  I finally had to chase him down for his response.  It wasn't always easy to even find a supervisor when you needed one.  Since my departure this month, I received an email from HR (Dan) with an exit survey.  
I had trouble accessing the survey, I requested assistance from him and have had no response (per usual).  
Employees (especially new ones) need to have a better, AVAILABLE team of leaders to assist and encourage them along the way.  I have nothing but kind words for my fellow coworkers.  It is a shame that the ones leading the company are the ones responsible for a lot of the departures.
