Training can be very slow. Shifts are lacking in trainers due to no incentives being offered to become a trainer. Seems you’re required to take initiative when it comes to completing required documents for training. When it’s time to do the required testing to become qualified for aseptic production; the results can take 2-3 months before you can participate in actual production. 

On a typical day/night, per SOP MBRs you will prepare equipment and supplies for upcoming production along with completing all required documentation.  This will require operation of an autoclave, vial washer, depyrogenation and more. This position also includes cleaning of required areas daily. Completing trainings, such as SOPs as needed and on time. Also, assisting in aseptic productions as needed and following proper procedures. Work is within classified cleanroom and controlled non classified environments. Work is fairly easy and self explanatory. Show initiative when it comes to filling out documents with a trainer as this is a very important. 

Every quarter we are required to do a “quarterly conversation”. This allows you to include all accomplishments, goals and concerns. 
There are also milestones you can complete, which allows you to move up in your position. You can receive a raise if completed along with a yearly raise. Bonus's do happen but seem to be rare. Benefits are offered for full time employees and also 401k. 2nd shift receives differential pay. 4 days a week @10 hour shifts are a plus. No sick days offered 👎🏽  Pay checks are every 2 weeks.
When the company shuts down, you can either be in office still or use your personal time off, if it’s available.
 
Everyone is very friendly and willing to answer questions if they have an answer. Overall decent place to work, some days are really busy and a lot but there are days that there’s not much to do. 

A typical day is hurry up go no where or just get it done, "anyway  
you can get it done ". I know at one time it was a company that took pride in its production of work and its employees as well as investing within it's self to stay on the cutting edge of technology.                   It's employees also took pride in their company as well, instead of looking at work ( the employee's Job )  as just a job. As far as management McDonalds has a better management system in place as well as knowing what management is and dose, hint ; promotes and brings forth positive results from the employee as well as empowers the employee to due there job in a efficient and productive manner. Not so at this company they ( management ) view them self's as a hierarchy a better than thou attitude.The hardest part of the job is knowing what your job is and how to go about doing it and being able to do it well. The most enjoyable part of this job is knowing you will be able to learn all the red flags ( problems ) working at this company, which will empower you to avoid when you find your next employer you should know whether or not to take the job, just on this company's dysfunctionality.  
This division or subsidiary must be a drain on the parent company and controlling investors. 
Its a true want-a-be.

My experience at PCI was short and an overall traumatic experience and I resigned after 3 months.
Management that doesn't like to feedback & only surrounds itself with people who won't disagree.
QA Team is filled with buddies, and close relatives.
I went 3 1/2 weeks without seeing or speaking to my manager or anyone on that team. The manager never attempted to give me the tools I needed to successfully perform the job.
After literally barely any guidance or direction I was thrown onto an account without a complete overview, history of the customer account or the required knowledge to adequately communicate with the customer. I was given deviations without first being trained on PCI’s procedure or signing off on the OJT. I was given access to customers to communicate on a high- problem account that had not been officially handed over to me and without any formal introduction to the customer. Complaints go unheard, HR will pretend to listen and take your complaints seriously., however complaints get swept under the rug and  not much changes.


One of the most unprofessional places I have ever worked.  Management hires people based on if they know them rather than experience.  Same with promotions.  There have been numerous promotions where the employees are not qualified but yet are moved into positions without having the proper experience, education or training.  If they have a friend that they are trying to get a job for then they will either move people out of their positions and put them into another position that they are not qualified for or get rid of them. When it is questioned you are told not to worry about it.  

Favoritism is blatant and obvious yet no one will say anything because they know it usually comes from the senior managers.

It is going in the wrong direction and fast.  There is constant back stabbing between departments and it is a hostile work environment. Some people are lucky if they work 8 hours a day yet they say they are too busy and management just hires more people instead of dealing with with it.  I know I am not the only one looking for a job.

Even though the job itself is easy, if it gets more difficult as you were constantly asked to do the jobs and multiple people who are not present. People get really annoying when you are getting paid minimum to do your one shot to do the job of two or three other people because the line needs to keep running. They also seem to expect you to just do all the extras they ask you to do, knowing full well they're working you too hard. You can easily be scheduled for 60 hours in a week because they keep telling people that they're falling behind with our orders. And then when you have to take time off or you want to call in the management will deliberately lie to you about your points but you have on your record just to make you think you don't have any left so you don't call off. The place is a mess honestly. The company itself does not care about it's individual workers, they only care about each order and making sure it gets out on time regardless of how hard they have to work you to do it. 

PCI has the potential to be a fun and nice place however, the management is so bad and inconsiderate. The level of nepotism and favoritism in their San Diego site is of great concern to many. No level playing field for competition, if you don’t no someone at the top, you are going no where.
The pay is one of the lowest in the industry. The highest pay increases you can get in a year is 55 cent. Profit shearing is horrible.
They have no set schedule, their warehouse is so disorganized and management including the supervisors can never accept suggestions to make things better. When you suggest, they don’t take it because they feel too big to see the solutions to their problems from your point of view. 
I don’t want to call names but if management does not change things, a lot of great people will resign.
They have had one of the highest resignation rates that I have ever seen.

They higher-ups speak to you how ever they want, they harass people daily until you quit or they fired you for standing up for yourself, a lot of favoritism from the higher-ups to the people they like even if that person not doing there job, but if they don't like you they won't help you with anything you have to kiss up to the higher-ups to get any help if you don't kiss up to them they'll either ignore you or  threaten to fire you for standing up for yourself, I would not recommend this job to anyone, they have terrible management skills they don't know how to speak to people, they demand respect from employees while they are being disrespectful to their own employees. Wouldn't recommend to anyone with  dignity and self respect. I worked there for 2 and a half years they never changed for the better only for the worst.

worked for almost 2 years, and honestly it's a great job a lot of benefits if your aware of where and how to access them. But it's really the culture of the workplace on the production floor as well as management. It's a very toxic environment to where it's extreme nepotism all through out the company there is very much favoritism when it come to promotions as well as moving up the chain of command. A lot of the mangers have very few to no professionalism, I liked this job but it's more of a stepping stone then a career I don't recommend anyone stay for too long.
To summarize it's overall very ghetto, if your a diligent worker they try to take advantage of this and if your lazy they brush you off and allow you to coast with minimal actual work done.
 

A typical day of work is doing several jobs that you are only getting paid for one to do. I've learned a lot of different skills to take to my next job that will appreciate what I have to offer the company. Upper management in some cases are rude, power-stricken, and are only out for self. They make you seem as if they care about you as an employee, but they really don't! I like most of my co-workers. Not being appreciated for what we bring to the table. Is promised promotions, but never see them. I again enjoy talking with most of the employees about our families and life outside of the job. I do love that they offer tuition reimbursement...the best perk of the company!

did packaging for clinical trail,which was very interesting.Everyday was something new,which meant you were learning about a new product almost everyday and what it was used for.Management was involved every aspect of the job because whatever we did was new to them also.I had the best co-workers in the world we all got along and helped each other out on a daily basis.If somebody was having issues we all helped and when we could not we relied on management.The hardest part of the job is when we received new product and had to learn about the customer expectations so we can do our job correctly.
