A Typical Day at Work: A typical day at work is dynamic and engaging, starting with a quick team huddle to align on priorities. I spend most of my day working on a mix of strategic and creative tasks, with plenty of opportunities for collaboration with different departments. I enjoy the balance between independent work and team interactions. The environment is fast-paced, but manageable, and every day offers something new, which keeps me excited and motivated.

What I Believe I Learned: I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge in both my professional skills and personal development. I’ve learned how to manage time effectively, work with diverse teams, and navigate complex challenges. The role has also sharpened my problem-solving abilities and taught me how to approach projects creatively while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture. I’m constantly learning and growing, which makes the job fulfilling.

Management: Management is incredibly supportive and invests in employees' growth. They provide clear expectations while trusting us to take ownership of our tasks. There is regular feedback, but it’s always constructive and helps me improve. The leadership team genuinely cares about work-life balance and encourages us to take initiative, which fosters a sense of autonomy and trust. Their open-door policy makes it easy to approach them with questions or ideas.

Workplace Culture: The workplace culture is one of the highlights of my experience here. It's welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative. People are genuinely friendly, and there's a strong sense of camaraderie among the team. The company promotes a healthy work-life balance, and we often have team events and social activities that help us connect outside of work. The Hardest Part of the Job: While the job is very rewarding, the hardest part is handling multiple projects with competing deadlines. Occasionally, this can feel overwhelming, but with the supportive team and strong management, it’s manageable. I’ve learned to stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively, which has helped me navigate these busy times with confidence.

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job: The most enjoyable part of the job is the opportunity to make a real impact. Whether it’s contributing to a major project or helping a colleague with a solution, it feels great to be part of a team that truly values each person’s contribution. I also love the continuous opportunities for learning, whether through mentorship or workshops. The work is challenging, but it’s deeply satisfying to see our collective efforts lead to success.

This is truly one of the best companies to work with. The organization provides excellent career growth opportunities, allowing employees to learn, upskill, and advance in their professional journey. The work environment is positive, motivating, and well-structured, making it easier to stay focused and productive. The management team is highly supportive, approachable, and always ready to guide employees, which creates a culture of trust and encouragement.

Clinical reviews for both medical and behavioral health/substance abuse lengths of stay. After the contract started, nurses were mandated to work 10h days M-F and 8h Sat and Sun - a mandatory 66h work week.  Often mandated to stay and work extra hours 15-30 minutes before the shift ended. Team mates were good, training was terrible (non-existent) so we relied on each other's past experience. 

This company was very unprofessional and disorganized. Management and recruitment way of communication was via text and maybe a few calls. Payroll was never submitted on time which caused issues every pay week. Language barriers with the company as a whole. In the beginning they basically harrass you during the onboarding process and then ghost you after shipping to your assignment. I would never recommend anyone to work for this temp agency.

Company does not reach out when assignment is ending to provide support in finding new assignment.

Going through Pacer Staffing as a temp agency hasn't been a super good experience. There has been many miscommunication. During the original first phone call, they asked for last 4 ssn. Then after getting the job, they miscommunicated the start date. In the contract, my pay is weekly then I was told it was semi monthly. I had to speak to several people in the company. Very unorganized and tons of miscommunication.

12 hour shifts with general care for the patients.

They contract you for other companies.. I work with 3 other people they work for the actual company I am on a  contract they get paid over 30% more and they get sick time company benefit  !! same job same responsibilities maybe even more because im the new guy... I never worked for a company I cared less about. So that's a posative.
