My experience with Pacific Health Group was extremely disappointing due to a lack of structure, support, and strategic leadership. While the organization promotes transparency and growth, the reality reflects a heavy focus on numbers over quality care and staff development.

There is little to no emphasis on proper training. New case managers are expected to carry full caseloads (up to 50 members) within their second week, despite spending that same period in onboarding. This creates unrealistic expectations and sets staff up for failure rather than success. Leadership does not prioritize building foundational skills such as engagement, assessment, or care coordination planning.

Management practices are highly focused on productivity metrics rather than patient outcomes. One-on-one meetings are centered around why numbers are not being met, instead of addressing barriers, clinical quality, or client needs. There is also a contradictory approach to care, staff are told assessments can wait up to 60 days per state guidelines, yet are expected to develop meaningful care coordination plans without adequate rapport or clinical insight.

The work environment reflects significant micromanagement, even at the leadership level. There is minimal teamwork, and communication often feels top-down and dismissive. Staff are frequently spoken down to, and while leadership promotes transparency, it often feels inconsistent with actual practices.

There is no clear strategic plan for outreach or program growth. The organization relies heavily on pursuit lists and reactive outreach efforts rather than building sustainable partnerships within the community. As a result, staff spend more time in unproductive management meetings than engaging with community stakeholders or supporting members.

Concerns around professionalism also extend to leadership and HR, where communication and decision-making often lack consistency and professionalism. There appears to be a disconnect between the organization’s stated mission and how it operates day-to-day.

While there are individuals within the organization who genuinely care, the overall culture is hindered by poor structure, lack of guidance, and leadership decisions that prioritize volume over value.

I was hired as a remote employee, but shortly after starting, the role was shifted to hybrid. The work environment is toxic and unpredictable — every week, people are fired, so there’s constant anxiety and you’re always walking on eggshells. 

Leadership claims to support employees, but they frequently change job descriptions after you’re hired. If you’re not okay with the new expectations, you’re encouraged to leave. Essentially, you either adapt to these sudden changes or find another job. If you value your mental health, stability, and honesty in hiring, this is not the place for you.

Management is not transparent or consistent with hiring promises and job expectations. They need to avoid shifting remote roles to in-person, changing job descriptions after hire, and terminating employees weekly. Foster a culture where employees feel secure instead of constantly fearful of being fired.



Long story short, this is the worst company I’ve ever worked for. Leadership tries to come off super nice and bubbly in group meetings, but one-on-one it’s a completely different story—if you’re not hitting numbers, they’ll tear into you. There’s a ton of micromanaging. They record every single call and track everything you do on company equipment, which feels excessive.

They also make promises, like sending gift cards, but never actually follow through. Caseload expectations are unclear—if you don’t have 50 members, they’ll just keep adding more, sometimes up to 75+.

Training is overwhelming and honestly lacks real hands-on support. Yet they expect you to reach out to all your members within your first two weeks.

At the end of the day, it feels like they care more about numbers than actual people, no matter how they try to present it. I’d really think twice before working here.

Some stress comes from hiring individuals who are not fully aligned with the expectations around accountability and whole-person care.

It’s a supportive and purpose driven environment where people genuinely care about members and each other, with a strong focus on teamwork and community impact.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No two days are the same it’s a mix of meetings, problem solving, supporting the team, and staying flexible in a fast-growing environment.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The hours and weekends off; I truly enjoyed the job role in it's own but supervisory on the other hand...Not so good.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Even if you're doing a fair job, if you're not liked they will sabotage your position.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I mean, I think the CEO has to know what he has in terms of supervisory staff; they are sneaky and don't like other's talking to them about the shady things they do. Even if you discuss with HR they will find a way to push you out. I have screen shots as proof.

Nothing, the work environment is toxic and there is compassion for case managers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Supervisors, managers and the people in charge are zero empathic and they care alone about the money they make by calling people. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic, stressful, there is no comparison for anyone and they do not care how the case managers feel. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful, with excessive workloads and with non-real work expectations.

The worst company I’ve ever worked for. Violating HIPAA left and right by recording calls without consent, micromanaged, and zero compassion for clients and fellow staff. Leadership lacks knowledge of social work and community based care, and only cares about the dollar coming in. You’d think they’re going bankrupt with how money hungry they are. If you’re thinking about applying or accepting a position with this company, think again.

I would rethink working here. It’s a joke. They say it’s not like the corporate environment but totally is how they have favoritism with people already there and it doesn’t matter your quality of work, they will try to do things to push you down if you’re succeeding too much. No ethics or morals. Just a bunch of comfortable people, pretending they’re helping people, but are selfish minded and only look out for themselves

Coworkers. Management was disorganized, unprofessional, unhelpful

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The goalpost is constantly moving, management only cares about metrics and income and not about the clients

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fake corporate, favoritism, unhelpful. Some managers never respond to you when you need help

Initially, I was very enthusiastic to work for a company that is so mission-focused and goal-oriented. However, I have found that the staff does not consistently provide proper training or clear communication. Furthermore, I feel there is a lack of care for both members and employees, with the primary focus seemingly centered on data and financial outcomes.
