After being at the company for so many years and having to fight tooth and nail for any advancement or to get equal pay with new employees, I finally had to leave. The other staff members in the office I loved but Corporate did not care for their employees and were horrible. Turn over rate was a joke. Compensation was terrible for the amount of work and hours we were expected to do. Always short staffed so we constantly had to work extra hours or clinics since corporate refused to make any changes in their clinic hours. I saw this place go from an office who truly cared about patients to a mill just pushing more and more patients in and out, again all for more money. It's sad this place changed so much over the years. Many patients have complained about the changes as well and many have left. 

As a medical assistant, my experience at Pediatric Healthcare Alliance was disappointing. Management was disorganized and showed clear favoritism toward certain employees, which created a toxic and unfair work environment.

The workload was overwhelming, with too many responsibilities placed on MAs without proper support. Despite the high demands, compensation was low and did not reflect the amount of work expected. There’s very little opportunity for growth or advancement, making it difficult to see a future with the company.

While working with patients was rewarding, the overall environment made it hard to stay motivated or feel valued.

I’ve had many issues between staff and doctors. The work area is unhealthy for a person. The manager yells at you like a child in front of others and talks over you when you try to respond. During the interview i was told there would be no issues or conflicts between staff however the manager was the one bringing conflict. All of you job duties will double once you start working on your own which was not mentioned during the interview. I was told to clean the walls for dust and deep clean our rooms (meaning pull out the bed, sweep, dusting, etc.) 

it’s a really nice company to work for them if you’re OK with being walked all over because you  will have no say and nothing gets fixed and even if you try to speak up the women hold soo many grudges and they make it seem as if there’s no way out so pretty much you work you leave you come back they talk bad about the company you work you leave you come back and you’re gonna work harder than you’ve ever worked every single shift you show up for 

In the blood draw are in a typical day we would see 200-300 people per day, very busy place. I learned how to draw from picc's, ports, and veins, and other places when we could not find a vein in the arm, or hand. The co-workers were great for the most part. The hardest part of the job was just getting the patients through. I loved drawing blood very much, I would help the people feel more comfortable about getting their blood drawn.

A typical day at work: prepare the examing rooms and assisting the doctor.
What You learned: How managed the back room with assisting the doctors.
Management: Vaulate confirdentality with their patient and employees.
My co-workers: Not helpful.
The hardest part of the job: Like communication with the doctors and staff.
The most enjoyable part of job: Was working with the babies.

This was a nice job, love helping children and helping parents to feel safe about their childrens health. The hardest part of this job is giving multiple injections to a little baby. The best part is when a patient recovers from a bad illness. Very fulfilling day.

If you me just heading into this field for experience it’s a great job but after just getting hired all I have seen is nothing but drama in both front desk to nurses. Everything gets pilled on you and the staff that has been there years are slowly starting to leave due to the workload doesn’t match the pay  from what I hear also Is the new people coming in are getting paid more then the people that have been here. 

Hard work is not appreciated or acknowledged. Ideas to improve efficiencies were put down by "management" that repeatedly proved to be ineffective, incapable and unprofessional. Billing director is a chauvinist and an HR nightmare waiting to happen.  

It wasn't flexible for working weekends and evening hours when wanting time off. The pay was great for evening hours and weekends though. That is why I worked there for 3 years. However, I take my children there and love the office and staff.
