when i first encountered PeopleShare it was through a legit looking ad placed on careerbuilder in 2005, i answered it and i was brought into the agency being assured that the agent was going to present my resume to the supposed employer, explaining that they were working with the "unnamed" company to screen candidates.

so i went and signed up with them, did their competency tests and explained that at the time i needed day shift full-time work due to my life's obligations. 

of course nothing ever happened with the job i applied for (meaning it didnt exist) and i kept getting pushed toward these jobs that were not what i was looking for at all. 

mainly because they had only so many real clients to place jobs for. and as such when i told them why i wasnt interested (a lot of my peers who do the temp circuit had told me about these sweatshops before so i knew to avoid those assignments) they were very opinionated and demeaning, talking down to me like i didnt know what i was passing up. 

i have worked with or signed up with a number of different temp/staffing companies that operated in the area, i wasnt stupid to the way they did business and i hated the way that PS people talked to me - ive had my issues with other agencies but NEVER have i ever been treated as horribly with any as i have with PeopleShare. i felt a bit disrespected by them and thankfully found a real job before ever having to deal with them again.

then go to 2009, the stock market crash of '08 left me laid off and reeling for employment again, i got back in touch with them, or them with me. i figured that hopefully that there were better people at that firm. i was wrong. i lasted one day on an assignment from a workplace that was beyond dysfunctional, and the shouting match i had with the so-called office manager when they kicked me off assignment was infuriating. worst yet they never honored my timesheet which means that it took them an extra week to give me the paycheck that i earned.

after that i ignored the phone calls they left for the next few years, cause they still wanted to place me in their lousy assignments after all the nasty things they said to me over that one day disaster that they blamed on me? why would you bother to hire me again? oh i know, cause you are that desperate - i finally told them in 2012(!) that i was permanently employed and no longer interested in hearing from them.

even if i were laid off again tomorrow, there are a million other temp agencies i would go to in the King of Prussia Area before darkening their doorstep again and i would advise people looking into peopleshare to go elsewhere.

Has to be hands down one of the worst employment agencies to be assigned jobs by. I imagine the majority of positive reviews are ballot stuffers that work for peopleshare as recruiters.
If responding to an ad for them be prepared to drive thirty plus minutes away even though there may be an office right by you.
I responded to an ad through Craigslist and I was called by a recruiter at one office (30 minutes away). When I got there the job was magically filled but he tried to put me in another job that was paying dramatically less.
I added my info to their database ensuring to disclose that I had a retail theft misdemeanor charge two years ago. He said that it wasn't a problem but some jobs won't accept me with it. I visually watched him add it to my record at which he informed me that all peopleshare have access to my information.
A few days later I get a call from Melanie from their Pottstown branch. She said she had a job for me in my area. I assumed she read through my file and already matched up my information with the prospective job client.
Long story short I traveled the 30 minutes out of the way to their office, took the drug test, spent three hours in a testing session all to have Melanie call me the day before I was supposed to start and say I couldn't work there because of my theft charge.
I was mildly annoyed since I wasted all this time when someone on their end dropped the ball on paying attention to details but I took the highroad and just said "we'll thank you for trying sorry it didn't work out its no problem."
She then becomes dismissive and begins to give me attitude. The audacity of someone who couldn't do her job right give me gruff about it.
She said it was a problem because the client was promised a worker the next day she then accused me of not disclosing the indie when she submitted a background check. (She never asked me about it and the form was a simple form there wasn't a spot to list it)
At this point I became increasingly annoyed and asked if she saw it on my file. She stammered and then made some excuses and the n finally admitted to seeing it but said there was no date and she thought it was over five years ago. (Which was a lie because if she had seen it it would of automatically dismissed me since the client would automatically refuse me on the grounds of the theft charge.)
Unprofessional, overloaded and not very efficient.
I'd seriously consider working through another agency.

Working here was great! Management was a little spotty, but mostly due to so many projects being done at once. This was my first job and I experience the most friendly people with some bad eggs, but nothing discouraging. 

I experienced job growth within a few weeks of working and a very nice pay raise as well for keeping up with attendance. 

You work with a team and it may even be some of the members you were training with. I so happen to have such an awesome and helpful group of team members, with three managers that were also very helpful and not scary.

Training was around a week long and paid, but the project was simple enough to understand and was quickly able to start working.

Schedules were perfect and flexibile, I was able to talk with someone in the beginning of work and get the perfect scheduled for me without any changes quickly and if you needed a change or a day off, it can be easily done if you keep your attendance high.

 Clients were nice for the most part, but sometimes they did get really mean or scary due to already being mad about something else before you answer the phone, but anytime we experienced a mean or hurtful caller, we were always able to go and take a 5-10 minute break to calm down and get your head back in the game. 

Didn't have any problem until my project ended and I was selected to continue with them in a new project. It caused a scheduled change that was out of my availability and I had to drop the offer. 

Overall, very amazing company to work with, management is really nice and down to earth for the most part, employees were very helpful and tried their best to keep the team a float. Pay was wonderful and the pay raises and incentives were nice as well, a lot of in job growth options, flexibility in schedules. The whole nine.

I’ve been working for PeopleShare as a contact employee. The first two months were great, however coming to the last few months, the bad have shed to light. This company really left a bad taste in my mouth. We promise the candidates one thing, and it turn around and be the complete opposite. They are playing with people time. when things hit the fan, they hide they hands and don’t have no answers to the things they have caused. Leaving the recruiters with the backlash to face. I don’t want my name behind this deceiving company. Everything is so inconsistent, unorganized. My manager is so ditzy she let people take over the meeting for her she has no control over her people she manage. They accept clients who are very hard to recruit for. we are very limited at what we are knowledge on about the company, so we have no answers to give the candidates. Why even want to work with clients like that? It’s not just me, almost everyone I worked with at Peopleshare, including those who were made perm, and got a leadership, or coach position are not satisfied with their role but they can’t afford to lose a job. This company pay also sucks. They do not live up to the company values/cultures . I am so disappointed because I wanted this to be a home for me, however I will not let this job test my integrity, mental health & I will not continue to put my name behind this company. We also were told two weeks before our end date we would be let go. That’s so insensitive. not even a month notice and most of the people here have kid(s). Two weeks wouldn’t even cover half my cost of bills. It’s insane! LAP will go down hill. That’s why they had to get another person from another team to get some structure bc they are all over the place. DO NOT WORK HERE

I was contacted by a recruiter may 2019 for a recruiting position. I was interviewed by phone and video before schedule a face to face with the branch manager in the Hagerstown location. June 2019 I had my face to face interview and then was advised that my step would to have another interview with the branch manager in the chambersburg location.after that interview I was selected to come in for a 1/2 day on the job to see what my day would consist of in which I had to take off of my full time job to do. After that I was told that the COO would be contacting me for further questions which was 2 days later (another phone interview) I was told by this person that I would know if I got the position within 24 hrs... 1 week later I was told that I got the position but was asked if I could wait until August 2019 to start so that the Hagerstown office could get things in order in which I agreed. I have kept in touch with the the recruiter and Hagerstown branch manager during this time and was led on that the position was still mine.. this went on for 2 months.. Last week I received a call from the recruiter who advised that my position was no longer available she claimed the Hagerstown office wasn’t up to par and could not take on another recruiter. This was upsetting due to lack of communication on the companies part. I was notified today through a hiring site the people share(Hagerstown location) is now once again hiring for a recruiter. This company wasted 2 months of my time while I could have spent that time looking for a more promising job. Save yourself time and don’t bother!!!

My experience with this agency was THE absolute pits!  I would never recommend a sewer rat to try to find work through these people.

In the end, when anything goes wrong it's all your fault.  When you bring attention to anything negative, they ignore it and then shift the blame onto you.  

They make promises of "jobs with your name written all over it," but then you hear nothing after that.  Not one peep. 

They're infamous for not paying their employees on time and getting nearly detail wrong about an assignment, right down to the pay rate.  How are these people still in business???

And the person/people responding to these reviews here and on other sites can offer all the canned responses they want.  None of it changes the fact these people are textbook unprofessional.  And there *must* be something to all the bad reviews because they're basically saying the same thing, so it's NOT all of us.

And the places they put on an assignment at?  With some exceptions, most of the companies they work with are straight up shady.  

I write that because I did research on the companies I was put on a job ("assignment") with and could find very little on them.  One company I found nothing on - at all.  In this day and age where an Internet presence is an essential to business?  Nah.  Something's not right there.

Anyway, LONG story short: Take the horror stories here to heart: Do NOT bother with these people!  It's NOT worth the aggravation!

The representative I worked with had little to no information on the position I would be placed at other then "I would be on lift". First day, normal equipment safety videos. I sat and was watching them when a office person mention "I looked bored and to not fall asleep." I told her I was fine and in an effort to look attentive I stood for the remainder of watching the videos. I was then placed on lift for 15 minutes, pulled off and asked to work some general warehousing. I finished the day and was called in the morning by people share and told the client said i looked inexperienced and fell asleep watching the videos and they did not want me. I explained to representative my experience and she had told me she understood and was still willing to work with me. I was offered a temp position that sounded horrible which i turned down. I had told them if i noticed any postings for positions i was interested in i would contact them. I did just that and was told by the branch manager due to the negative image of the previous assignment people share would no longer be working with me at all. I then explained to the manager my experience and told him that his representative had told me she would have no problem working with me in the future. He told me "he did not care and people share would no longer be a resource for me." These people don't care about who they are placing where or doing what in the slightest they only care about numbers. Beware, Stay away.

VERY deceptive (grey area) recruitment practice and highly disorganized. If your a professional with a college degree, avoid this agency at all costs (I can't speak for any other demographic). 

I submitted my resume for a "sponsored" job ad and was immediately contacted by the recruiter stating "I was a good match for the job" citing my credentials and experience matched what they needed for this position. An interview was promptly scheduled. 

They collected all my information into their data base, conducted an entire interview, only to state at the very end "the position was filled days ago". The job posting is still active, however. So I had 2 colleagues randomly contact them about the position, both were given conflicting answers, but pressured to come in and apply. 

• There is either clear deception/fraud or extreme disorganization going on here, as nothing adds up logically either way I attempt to process it.

• I can't say with 100% certainty that the job I applied for ever even existed or was just an "ad" to get people in the place fill a "quota" or get their information.

If your a professional, don't make my mistake and apply to this agency, they now have my personal information and I have a bad feeling in my gut about the whole thing. I may report them to the BBB.

Management provides direction and sets expectations, though like in most workplaces, there’s room for improvement in communication and consistency. The way managers handle situations directly affects how smooth or stressful the day feels.

Workplace culture:
The culture is shaped by the team’s attitude. When everyone supports each other, it creates a positive, productive environment. At times, challenges in communication or workload can put pressure on that culture, but overall, teamwork plays a big role.

The hardest part of the job:
The toughest part is balancing multiple priorities at once, especially under time pressure. It can be stressful when resources or communication aren’t clear.

The most enjoyable part of the job:
The best part is connecting with coworkers and feeling a sense of accomplishment when tasks are completed successfully. Small wins and teamwork make the day rewarding.
