I was truly excited to work here at first. Recruitment made it sound like a medical facility but its a fancy call center! Training was all over the place no real beginning to end flow of the role, just bits and pieces, jumping to the end back to the middle, then you were told to "shadow" another seasoned rep. I only got to sit with 2 people and only listened to 1 call so it was useless. After that I went to my team and was told I had to manage the whole territory on my OWN. Needless to say I had to figure it out! Benefits and PTO is a complete joke. There is no consistency with QA grading and QA is untouchable in terms of their mistakes. They make up rules as they go and whatever they say goes. Management is horrible. I only 1 Supervisor who I truly respected and felt they actually cared. They were AWESOME. Although new to the company, they picked up on the job quick. They always gave me good advice and encouragement. The others were severely unqualified to be in there roles. Maybe good on paper but not good leaders at all. The coulture is ver clicky and it starts with the sups. Promotions are given to those who are "yes men" as long as you talk like the duck..walk like the duck..your IN. Otherwise it doesn't matter if your one the best AC's in there you won't make it up the latter. I'm proof that! I was practically BEGGED to apply for TL because of my strong work ethic, training ability, leadership qualities great stats but was told I didn't get the position because I voiced concerns and "asked questions" about mandatory assignments we were given with little to no training then threatened If we didnt do them right. God forbid your actually GOOD at your job cause then you will have a target on you back. They are constantly moving the goal post on you. When asking sups questions your told "whats the SOP say?" In other words... Idk go look it up! I noticed certain things being changed in the SOP without any notice and then they say "its always been that way" I had proof one time as a sup was really arguing me down that a process always had been that way until I pulled out a copy I saved which showed it had been different! Their face LOL... Constant threats with write ups and PIPs if you didn't do this or that was relentless. There are paragraph long scripts for every single thing you do that you have to say word for word or else. They got a new phone system late last yr that was supposed to be better when really all it did was make things worse and tbh the spy feature for management is abused. I always knew when someone was checking in on my computer screen and it was so annoying given that I always stayed on to of my work. I got countless awards, recognitions, kudos, you know all the things...but I refused to go along with stuff that's not right. This job is like walking through a minefield blindfolded! March 10th I gave my notice affective that day I would not be returning. Overall, I really did love my job and it was heartbreaking to have to resign but I was becoming extremely stressful with every passing day. I wouldn't recommend this position If you're looking for a long-term career and job security.

I have worked at several companies and our benefits since I have been here the last two years have adapted each year without increasing in pay (which is VERY rare in today's economy) including now offering maternity and paternity leave for those who have been employed for a year. We have a workplace clinic that has multiple locations and all visits there are covered 100% by PharmaCord even dependents that are not enrolled in your insurance coverage for general office visits and referrals to other specialists as needed. They offer experience that is so valuable early on and well into your career. Everyone at PharmaCord truly believes in you and will implement changes to help you grow and do better year to year. Not to mention that we have a state of the arc facility that we get to work in every day. Our CEO truly cares about everyone that works here (I've been lucky enough to interact with him often, which is not common anywhere else that I've been employed at) otherwise we wouldn't have grown as quickly and effectively as we have over the last almost 6 years as a company. Those that work here truly care about your well-being and if you don't feel like you're a good fit in one department there are opportunities to move to another as well. With a growing company there will always be growing pains, especially one that has tripled in size the last 2 years, but with that being said, you are not just a number at PharmaCord, and that is something that is irreplaceable in a place that you spend the majority of your time! 

Pros:
When I first started at Pharmacord, I was genuinely excited. Training was well-structured, engaging, and supportive. There were always people available to answer questions, and it helped me feel comfortable and confident in my role. The office environment is also nice, and the campus itself is impressive. Coworkers were generally friendly, and if you connect with the right people, you’ll find good relationships here.

Cons:
Unfortunately, after working here for several years, I began to notice a lot of micromanagement and favoritism. Advancement opportunities are very limited — it often feels like the company wants to keep you in one role permanently, and requests to move into other positions are ignored. Despite consistently bringing up my interest in growth, I was never given an opportunity.

The recognition system also feels unbalanced. Hard work is rarely acknowledged fairly; rewards are minimal, usually limited to potlucks, pizza parties, or the occasional gift card. Certain employees are recognized repeatedly, while others are overlooked despite their contributions.

Another major issue is the constant policy and quality changes. Processes shift week to week, and if you don’t immediately adapt, you’re penalized. This creates a stressful environment where employees are written up for mistakes that stem from frequent changes rather than actual performance issues.

Overall:
Pharmacord can be a decent place to start your career — the training is strong, the environment is professional, and coworkers can be supportive. However, if you’re looking for growth, meaningful recognition, or long-term career development, this may not be the company for you.


During my time at Pharmacord I had 3 supervisors, all of which were eager to hear other our suggestions and all of which were always shot down. Management is constantly swearing they have plans in place to tackle inconsistencies and specific issues but the plans never tackle the root issues. The lack of communication in this program is astounding. The training processes at Pharmacord are not properly curated. They habitually of sets people up for failure within their jobs and not really caring about who will sink or swim. I wouldn’t count on that changing! If anything it might just get much worse, as the newer employees have been confirming this recently. Not only is the training just nonsensical, but they were underpaying us while simultaneously understaffing us and working us to the bone. They are shameless when it comes to lying to their employees about most things. While I was there they lied about raises (for over a year), lied about getting help for the employees drowning in work, lied about our expectations as workers, etc. Good luck if you ever want anyone to take any accountability for it. When something goes wrong, for example; not having enough employees to properly manage the workload, they would rather try and guilt trip/blame us for not being willing to go the extra mile (while refusing overtime pay) under the guise of helping our patients. I have physical proof of so many of these things happening. Pharmacord should be scared to continue business with their current practices. Save yourself, don’t work here. 

First couple of weeks were enjoyable with great basic training. Then you realize that training will never be of use as there are far too many variables to each case to keep track of. This is compounded by the constant changes to the workflow process that you are to keep track of. And management does not care; they will not listen to your concerns and will not fight for you.

Supervisors will regurgitate what their superiors tell them verbatim; can't recall how many times the word "disciplinary action" was threatened to the team if numbers were not met and micromanagement is rampant. Because all they care about is the numbers on the spreadsheet. They don't know or care that each case can take vastly different amounts of time to complete. They don't care that you are breaking your neck trying to find the right department or dealing with a difficult patient that you have to call for consent to speak with another insurance provider. They just want their numbers to look good so their private equity daddy is happy.

Can't tell you how much I've dreaded the beginning of each week or have heard the same from other co-workers. Turnover is the worst I've ever seen in an office setting. Within two months, two of the three supervisors quit or were fired. Within a year, 90% of the original team I started with was gone

This company is a complete joke. When interviewing they will tell you that it is not a call center job when in fact it is. The pay is low for the amount of work that you do.  Training was all over the place. We were trained on another job role and gave fluff about our specific job role. After a week of training, you they throw you out to the wolves to work 1 to 2 territories by yourself.  Micromanaging started from day 1 when we were told we needed to keep our camera on to just stare at the screen during training while watching the trainer navigate through a system we would not be using. The turnover rate is high and those in leadership more than likely don't have the qualifications to be in the role and only got the job because of "who they know".  Leadership could never provide straight answers when asked questions. It was always " I'll get back to you on a response". QA is horrible and as previously stated they make up their own rules as they go.  You get points deducted for simply saying 'Uhm" during a call.  Lastly you don't have a clinical job role but are expected to make reports on patient symptoms and product issues. Lastly, you could be the most caring sympathetic person and somehow leadership will find something wrong about a call that you took or made.  If you are considering applying, do not.  There is no way this company got an award for bet places to work. 

The management is terrible - I was not sure who to speak with about anything because there are so many managers who just wont email you back. I would be on a call with a patient, and have to ask a question - I would email 3 of them and get no response, but could see that they were available/not in a meeting. 

I was put on the phones before I was supposed to be; I was supposed to get trained for a certain amount of time, and due to scheduling conflicts, it was cut short and I was thrown on the phones, when I told them I wasn't ready, because I was getting put on the phones early, they said it was okay and that they would be there for me if I needed help. 
Well, as previously mentioned I would message numerous managers about a patient's case (while I had them on the phone) and get no response. I could not do callbacks to the patients either, so I just had to wait for them to hang up or tell them that I couldn't help them; which made them mad at me. 
Getting hired was also a nightmare, before I was hired I couldn't get a set time on when my shift was supposed to be and had no idea what time to come in to get my computer, on my first day - I just showed up. 
When you do get ahold of someone, they conflict with what another person told you. 

I have been working at PharmaCord over a year and a half. I have never felt so supported in my goals and encouraged to pursue the things that interest me (even things outside my job role). The culture here is so supportive. No job is without some drama, but the leaders do their best to eliminate it immediately. There is a TON of room for advancement. If you come in, work hard, and maintain positive relationships with your peers, YOU WILL MOVE UP. I have not seen anyone promoted that didn't do all the above. Anybody else is not taking responsibility for their actions or faults. Pay is actually good and comparable for the area. Some teams have different volumes, but there is always the ability to work on different projects and things you actually enjoy. There is always something going on for employee morale. Pizza, donuts, candy, work outings and games always being played. The company is EXTREMELY flexible with your needs. If you want a longer lunch, you can work 8-5. If you have appointments, you can make up your time, instead of using PTO. This company is growing FAST. No company is without growing pains. They are very mindful in who they hire, so you may have a couple interviews but it's for the best. They really care for the employee. 

Initially, this seems like a great place to work.  Management is very welcoming, nice building, lots of smiles and pep talks. However, the training is severely lacking and redundant. It's a call center, but they try to jazz it up by titling you as a case manager or a benefits specialist. They have a million useless meetings and train you on things for weeks, then tell you to forget all of it. Their methods are unorganized and need to be revamped, especially since you are on the phone assisting medical staff and ppl who are calling because they're in need. You can't confidently do a job if you haven't been properly trained and the systems don't work properly (which happens often while you're on the phone). Initially I thought it was just me, but every coworker I spoke to (lots) was frustrated with the training and had begun looking for another job. Ppl began packing up their cubicles and walking out. I ended up leaving as well because the stress was just too much. They are in over their heads by hiring so many people (hundreds) without a proper format for the training curriculum. I also see they have lowered the pay. It's a rotating door which is sad because the job itself would have been very rewarding. 

PharmaCord's high growth environment brings lots of opportunity for people to grow and learn about the business and industry - I have been promoted twice in under two years and have seen many others experience similar growth in formal and informal ways.  Company leadership truly cares about employees and ensures people are set up for success and growth.  Leaders bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that is readily shared with others in the organization.  I have benefited from positive mentorship and the investment leaders make in others.

Reflecting on my time at PharmaCord so far, it's amazing to realize how much I have learned and grown personally and professionally - Every day brings opportunity to learn something new and looking forward to all of the positive growth to come with PharmaCord!
