Being out in the field is and was always the best part about home care. Having a drive in between clients really makes the day enjoyable. I learned it really is true when they say "kill em with kindness". Being a team player is essential because communication with the nurses is very important. Everyone in the office was friendly. The hardest part of the job was getting use to them changing our scheduler all the time. It made things difficult, the schedules were never right, routes did not make sense or for some reason you couldn't get enough patient in one city or a few and then you were driving across RI to get to the next one. No problem with travel but the route needs to make sense.

Most reviews you see in RI are out of state which are not even the same company. 
But for Warwick, RI - Loved the company  until abrupt changes in management- Never a day gone by without total dysfunctionism. As a nurse you travel across the state, dispite your assigned  territory! Continuous calls on your off time from office in request of additional paperwork they throw to you, calls from other nurses covering you who neglect to read your previous note and/or calls from MDs as no one in the office is assigned to cover your calls. Prepare to work on paperwork in and off the computer system., every waken moment!!

New to HH rough experience. Pay inconsistencies, horrible management, promises not kept, favoritism, lack of transparency, drive all over, recruiters say one thing…once in the job opposite happens, if they want to keep employees they need to treat them better, HIGH turnover. My RN Leader is great, understanding, and very supportive. CM tries. CA tries. 

Love my job, travel to see patients in their home to provide skilled nursing services. Love the flexibility, the autonomy, and how much you learn about patients in the community. I would recommend Pinnacle if you are interested in homecare nursing.

I ended up getting very sick working for Pinnacle home care. they do not treat their employees very well. going from home to home and walking into homes blind.
