Pinnacle Travel Staffing

This was my 2nd time working for a staffing agency/company.  Hands down Pinnacle is the best because it lives up to the name; Pinnacle means the most successful point!  Being a nurse I wanted to look up the word pinnacle to see what it means.  Although the company is based miles away, they are in constant contact via phone, text and the yearly visits are nice because nurses are rewarded with gifts for the positive efforts we give.  Pinnacle recruiters are enthusiastic and never make you feel like you are bothering them.  Twice a year, the Pinnacle family comes down to personally meet with employers and keep the rapport alive which have earned a lot of respect from my host employer.  More importantly if i have a problem at the work site, Pinnacle is in there fighting for their nurses and the company listens.  Pinnacle is a fair company and I have loved being a part of the family for the past 2 years and counting.....and let's not forget about being paid weekly.

I was hesitant on becoming employed by a travel company. I know quite a few nurses who were employed by pinnacle and loved it. Ever since day one I felt really reassured. I receive health benefits and the scheduling is extremely flexible. The staff at Pinnacle constantly check in and see how things are going, and if you verbalize a concern with a job site they quickly address it and find a solution. They look for ways to show appreciation to their nurses and are just really great to work for. I feel comfortable and secure in my position with them and would definitely recommend working with them. Communication is easy and constant. The application process and orientation to job sites was easy and seamless.

If you are a traveling professional in the healthcare field I strongly advise you to go with a reputable and responsible company. This company lacked everything that should be included in a professional setting. 

Those who run this company think that it's appropriate to make assumptions rather than standing up for those who are employed with them. It is a disgrace and I would never advise anyone to work for them. 

Their main concern is money and not the well-being of their staff. I've been in the healthcare field for over 10 years.

And as this world becomes less concern with those we serve and more concern with their earnings I strongly suggest you research before applying.

I recommend this company for nurses. They have great assignments, and excellent compensation.  My recruiter is responsive to my needs,  questions and went goes out of  his way to help me get the best experience, pay, and recognition on my travel assignments. My recruiter even sends text messages or calls weekly making sure that I’m OK and also asking if I need anything. Payroll was always reliable, opportunity to extend assignments with good bonus. I have been able to seamlessly extend my contract and get the days I wanted to be written into my contract with no problems. I have been employed with Pinnacle since July 2018. This is a great company. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

The typical day at work is not knowing where you are about to work, which could be challenging but is fulfilling.  Management is always there.  It can be difficult at times working with different Cultures  but is a learning experience.  The hardest part of the job is trying to learned different jobs at one time because before you can learn one job you are shifted off to another one.  Overall the most enjoyable part of this job is learning to work with different cultures which is rewarding.




I worked there during covid. My mom had passed away this same year. My aunt passed away related to covid, I had to have a surgery myself. I loved the contract and the work. However, when me, the nurse was sick- they were so mad. I get it but… is my health not more important than a contract? If I’m not well- how can I make anyone else well. I have all documentation. This really showed me they are not for the workers. Really sad, because I did try to go back and automatic no. Be good to your nurses! You never know what someone else is going through. We too, are human. May you have the day you deserve. 

I had a great team and recruiter. When I brought up an issue my recruiter was on top of it. They were not only helpful with my work life. It gave me a sense of family and support. I am especially thankful at how they listen to my feedback. They currently have mostly psych and correction contracts and I was no longer interested in that field of nursing as a main focus but I learned a lot and gained skills to move on. 

I was the one of the first employees to work for Pinnacle staffing, I was paid well, staff was always present if needed for any circumstance. The company checked in on me regularly, giving me a feeling of reassurance and priority. After my contract ended they helped me into my career occupation that I currently have and will eventually retire at. I recommend Pinnacle travel staffing to any nurses looking to make good money and work for a company that is family oriented with the reassurance that they will always help in any way they can.

Working with Pinnacle Travel is a great company to work for in itself, but the actual workplace environment (contract agency) can be challenging at times, but that's typical of anywhere you go. 

As one of their new LPNs I couldn’t have asked for a better agency. They are not only efficient but go out of their way to ensure that I’m very prepared for every assignment. The agency is easy to reach 24/7 and  treat me as family. I highly recommend joining my new found family because together we do make a difference!
