Pros:
- Gives you exposure to the VC world. 
- Meet great people.

Cons: 
- No training opportunities or chances to learn and grow. L&D, upskilling and reskilling is inexistent. 
- Growth is only measurable by number of investments or accounts sold - no transparency over hard work. 
- Mix of overachievers and lazy people. Many people are mediocre at most.
- No company culture.
- Barely any opportunities for growth and no proper management - at the end of the day it's a family business and the majority of the senior leadership is plain and unprepared.
- Company driven around sales, with no strategy to innovate, and no strategy for how to better work with startups and help them grow. 
- CEO loves micro-management and his skills are those of the 80s. 
- Low salaries in almost any geography worldwide, and specially within Silicon Valley. 

this was the best time of my life working for plug and play, the experience and exposure got during my time there was amazing. You get to know and learn from the top serial entrepreneurs in the world and get to know the highest levels in technology and innovation from the 500 fortune companies. However dreamed came to an end in 2023 when they unexpectedly cut all remote employers, I was layoff without any negotiation or request to move back near to the office to be able to be back 5x week in a regular schedule. 

Absurd Culture.  Out of touch senior leadership,  Slick high pressure sales campaigns with no long term relationships.  Constant micromanagement from senior leadership, with multiple weekly meetings consisting of the same material from previous, current, and future weeks.  Shark Tank wanabe with overpriced and convoluted programs.

I thoroughly enjoyed working for Plug and Play Tech Center. I loved the team I worked with and the place felt like home to me. I was able to offer my input for ways to improve the Audio Visual experience at different company events, and my voice was heard and the changes were implemented.

I can't recommend working there. People there are really average, not ambitious, got their job through friends. Lots of nepotism. Toxic culture that is way too sales driven. They don't care about their startups. If you think you'll learn about VC, forget it.

Unorganized, unprofessional, over-confident. People who work there communicate among themselves. They need you for few months and they let you go. Nothing good in there.

Amazing opportunity to work in venture capital, interact with smart people building cool companies, and work alongside young and hungry people. The culture is great and the mission awesome.

Lots of people whose mission is to please the CEO, rather than do work they actually care about. Morning meetings don't feel very productive, and a lot can be done to better manage the company

There was no training and no advancement opportunity. They constantly hire people without a standard. Most of them get the job through family connections. The company structure was chaotic.
