They promote it as a "Hybrid remote" job but you have to go through hoops and bounds to even get to that. The total energy in the office is good (Open call center). There's music and managers yelling announcements 24/7 though which is cool but sometimes I cant even hear the lead! Its good easy money though so very tolerable. And if there's an office wide sickness going around your job is at risk.. people are so worried at this point that they show up with a 103 fever because they are so worried about losing their job.

If you dont like cold calling / following a script to the correct punctuation this job isnt for you. (they literally take commission away for messing up things that literally dont matter). 

In my eyes its a good temp job. Could be a great job because everyone we deal with on the daily (management) are awesome to work with. But you can tell the higher ups who dont see us daily that have an actual say in things do not care whatsoever and its just a numbers game to them. 

A normal day at work starts with good energy from your coworkers and managers and the motivation to be successful. It's just up to you to keep that motivation at all times. The rejection can be heavy, but they are upfront about the percentage requirements. If you do the math, you can conceptualize the amount of "no's" to expect and be realistic with yourself, not discouraged. Ultimately,  there is money to be made as long as you have good attendance and put in effort while following the guidelines. You get praised and recognized for doing well, as well as encouraged and coached when you are falling behind.  They motivate the team with spiffs and raffles and bonuses which is a plus too! 
I have been here 5 years and I love my managers, and my coworkers, and have been successful. You can too! 

PolicyScout is a great company to work for! I’ve been here for five years and wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s not the pay (even though it’s great), but its the people you work with and for. Everyone here is so helpful! If you have a million questions, they’ll have a million and one answers. The hardest part of the job, in my opinion, is memorizing a short script and rebuttals. Once you’ve memorized everything, it’s a piece of cake!  The most enjoyable time at work is the morning meetings, when the whole team gets together and talks about the day prior!  We laugh, joke, and  really do have a lot of fun!  If you have the opportunity to work for a great company like PolicyScout, you better jump at it! 

I’ve had the pleasure of working with PolicyScout, and I can honestly say it’s been a positive experience thus far. With AEP just passing, I’ve been impressed by how the company handled the high demand, offering reps the opportunity for overtime and ensuring everyone had the support needed during such a busy period.

The company culture is supportive, inclusive, and genuinely values its employees. Leadership is transparent, approachable, and always open to feedback, making it easy to collaborate and grow professionally.

A typical day is if you come in 2 minute late with that horrible traffic they will bring you in the office and give you some ridiculous reason on why you can’t be late the managers don’t care about nothing but numbers of they will fire you if you don’t meet their expectations you have to cold cal people and get into arguments with people everyday over the phone definitely not a good job to stay at please consider employment somewhere else 

Be aware. These people will tell you one thing over the phone and interview and hit you with something completely different during and after the training. The pay is based on a sliding scale. Breaks are short, they expect you to stay on the phones the whole entire time, they are strict on time for clocking in and breaks, they will fired you without so as a warning or accurate reason why you are being let go. Please reconsider and find somewhere better to work.

Being an employee here has really changed my life. Since the first day in training, the experience has been very welcomed. Every manager has always been motivational. I even left the company for another job and when I inquire to come back, it was easier than the first time and I made more money. I gotta say this is one of the best customer service jobs in Tampa. This job actually helped me invest in my own business.

A typical day at work here at Policy scout is amazing. The managers do an amazing job boosting up the agents like myself and keeping the moral in office. The hardest part of the work load here is having to go home at the end of the day. The most enjoyable part of the day here is being able to make connections with countless people not only on the phones for work but with my colleagues  as well!

If you can get past the commute (I live outside of Tampa) and people being rude on the phone this job is cake.. Management works with you no matter the issue and they try to make you feel welcomed everyday you come in

The environment is high energy! It’s nice being rewarded/acknowledged when successfully submitting a lead! There’s always room to build your own check as well plus base pay!
