I have been at Pleasant View for multiple years, and with Prime Healthcare Management since for about 6 months. Pleasant View is an amazing nursing home! All of the employees truly work for the purpose of caring for the residents, and not just a paycheck. Coming into work feels like being with family. Prime Healthcare Management is newer to us at Pleasant View - they do not always seem like the most organized company and not the best benefits, but they support us well in taking care of our residents. 

Began with no direction 8 -5 M-F. Shifts kept changing. No training, no vision, no assistance, no mentoring. Given a task to complete in 30 min, told didn't want that. Toxic environment. Hours then changed again. Direction changed again. Told 7 days 12 hours or you're fired. Reassured, numerous times did not have to work seven straight days. Management is horrific.

The local team tries its hardest to make this job bearable but the corporate owners have effectively turned this place into a minimum cost maximized profit low quality care factory. The corporate structure is wonky and the wages have been stagnant for two years.

Never a problem when family matters need attention. Dr. appointments, school meetings and events, sitter quit or life happens, prime understands. We have great core values, teamwork and over all positive atmosphere with room for some silliness and fun.

We work endlessly to make our residence our top priority.  The love and care we give here is what I would want for my own family members.  Our staff is a team and we care for one another. 

Most enjoyable hands down are the residents!!
My typical day the minute I get here I get straight to work and than time to go home, totally flies by.
Hardest part there is never enough time to get everything done the proper way.
Management does the best they can to make it a good place to be.

I direct our nursing staff to provide excellent quality care to our residents, while maintaining a safe, upbeat and fun work environment. Our residents are like family and we treat them as such. The work is hard but it's so rewarding.

I love my workplace because it is postive and upbeat. The residents are of course the best part of my job but there are many other perks. I've learned a lot of team building strategies. Overall Pleasan View is an amazing place to work!

I love my job here.  I feel like I make a difference in the lives of others while caring for the people from our very own community.  This small town Nursing Home is my Home away from Home.
