So, let’s start with the interview process. You have to interview several times with different people just to get a job here which was tedious and is not the standard for any healthcare job. Regardless, if this is a “spa” or “IV therapy” service, this is a healthcare job and I don’t think management understands that. Management is very pushy about getting memberships and getting clients to buy extra services and it creates a toxic work environment, not to mention that when management asks for anything they expect it to be done without setting foot in their office. Additionally management are not healthcare providers! Management are not nurses or doctors but are somehow in charge of RN’s and Paramedics. They have a lead RN for the office but that person isn’t in charge of the office which again creates a toxic work culture. I don’t think this is a great place to work, stress is still high for literally no reason and most of us are at this job to avoid the stressful environment of the hospital. I’d suggest going elsewhere, you won’t find much happiness here or the work life balance you’re planning on having after leaving the hospital.

The flexibility of the scheduled hours are overall an enhancement when it comes to traditional nursing careers. Allowing for personal life to realign, the low stress environment as well as wonderful cliental we service promotes general well-being. The typical nursing often entails a demanding and emotionally charged role, frequently characterized by high levels of stress in most employment settings. Braced with aggressive staff that further perpetuate a hostile work environment, this is an unheard of nursing employment experience. 

Management is outstanding, their natural knack for leadership and coaching translates easily among the varieties of personalities as well as experience levels seamlessly. Directly affecting all members of the team in a positive manner promoting one of the healthiest work environments I have experienced in my 12 years in the medical field. There is zero tolerance for bullying, non-performance, and gossip. Each situation that arise has a firm, fair and consistent approach aimed to employ growth as an employee within the company.

This was by far the best job I have ever had, the mission, the services, and the franchise partners are all outstanding. Unfortunately, the leadership decision to place an inexperienced individual in a critical role has caused significant problems. Instead of taking accountability and correcting mistakes, this leader has deflected blame onto employees, leading to unnecessary turnover and disruption.
It’s disheartening to see so much talent walk out the door because of one person’s poor leadership. The franchise partners, who truly care about the brand, are left with their hands tied. If the owner promoted from within and empowered proven, long-term employees, Prime IV could easily surpass its competitors and thrive.
I still fully support the owner, the mission, and the company, but unless leadership changes are made at the top, I worry about the future direction. For now, I’d advise potential employees to wait until the organization stabilizes and protects its people and their work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Through my experience, the best part was working for a nurse-owned Prime IV Hydration & Wellness. Having a boss who is also a nurse made the work environment and culture so much better than any hospital unit that I’ve ever worked for. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If there are unexpected walk-in appointments on a busy day, it can serve as a stressful event, however it boils down to the teamwork. Working at Prime IV in Clermont was the best because we all know how to work together to get the job done efficiently. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The best work environment I’ve ever had! Everyone is thoroughly enjoying their job, and we are all willing to lend a helping hand to one another.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive 10-15 min before opening for set up. The hours are 6-8 hour days depending on the day of the week. I still have time for personal things in the morning and evening!

Working for Prime IV might just be one of the worst decisions you could ever make! Employees are treated  as nothing more than glorified slaves;  they're overworked, underpaid, and constantly abused. The company couldn't care less about their well-being, and often ignores their boundaries, leading  to them having unsustainable work-life balances. Management demands so much from them, and they never recognize their efforts when they surpass expectations, but are quick to point out any mistakes they might  make. Unless you're ready to work under such a toxic and hostile work environment, I highly urge you to stay away!

Working at Prime IV over the past four years has been an incredible experience. I’ve truly loved being part of a company that not only values its employees but consistently puts us first. The owners have built an environment that feels supportive, motivating, and family oriented, something you don’t find often.

At the Orem location, safety and professionalism have always been the top priorities, and that commitment shows in everything we do. I’m proud to have been part of a team that genuinely cares about our clients’ health and wellbeing while upholding the highest standards of care.

I’ve loved my time at Prime IV and what it stands for. The culture, the people, and the mission have made a lasting impact on me, both professionally and personally.

Owners, while very "hands on" (micro manage), they still do not offer a real training. Just push sales, stick the client, make money.  Since this is an elective procedure that is private pay, not emergent, that is where the concentration is at. Strangely, at interview, their biggest concern was how many sticks daily have you done, can you do. As long as you can stick people like a machine/assembly line production, that is what matters. No real training provided.   Only questions from owners; how can you up the amount of patients and sticks daily, can you up sell more IV infusions. NOT are you needing anymore training, how is it going. 
Be kind to yourself, keep looking unless Henry Ford Assembly line production numbers is what you believe for alternate healthcare therapy...
and pressure to meet exceed weekly, daily projections.

- The workplace is chaotic and drains energy at a rapid pace 
- Owners lack medical knowledge, resulting in poor operations and constant confusion
- Decisions feel random, and policies shift constantly with no consistency 
- The culture prioritizes control and authority over patient care or staff support
- Overwhelming workload with multiple roles expected—clinical duties, sales, administrative work, and cleanup—with no relief 
- Compensation is far below the responsibility and effort required
- Breaks are rare, and benefits are nonexistent
- Persistent stress with no opportunity to recover or feel supported 
- Employees quickly feel exhausted, unrecognized, and trapped in a cycle of quiet disguised as normal business practices

There are no words for how amazing the owners of Prime IV are. They truly take care of their staff while maintaining a professional environment. 

I really enjoyed my position here. I felt wanted by the owners. They heard me out with issues and did everything to fix it. It truly broke my heart to leave. But with a small staff there will be drama to arise. But if you can refrain from muddling work life drama then it’s a perfect place for you to be. 
I will never say a bad thing about the environment the owners provided. And the job itself. I truly felt like a valued member of the team. The cliental was also (mostly) wonderful. Coming to work was never a drag. I left for personal reasons but think fondly of my experience. 

*DEER CREEK LOCATION ONLY FOR REVIEW*

Typical day consist of administering injections, starting IVs and compounding treatments. Management is terrible at this location. You will be micromanaged the entire shift. You will have to clean everyday but be told it is not good enough. There were times the owner would act like a toddler, storm out, slam doors, toss papers. Lunch or breaks are not given. Never could admit when something was his fault instead of yours and no praise for selling memberships or up-sells. Loved the clients and co-workers but overall would not recommend working here. I never leave reviews but this has to be known.
