Stay away from this shady agency. They pulled a bait and switch on me.  I was conned into accepting a "Medical/Data Entry" job but after orientation at the worksite I was promptly transferred to a different supervisor that had me lifting boxes and assembling folders.  After I resigned they went radio silent as if they knew they had done something wrong. They didn't even realize that they hadn't paid me until I notified them.  I guess they didn't care.  What a waste of time.

Working for ProMed has been a circus, No benefits/401K no culture. You can hear yourself  think, Your not allowed to go to lunch with your coworkers, The office itself is disgusting they are in the process of repairing the office while fully staff with no consideration to its employee's. 

No team work just absolutely nothing!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, The only thing I look forward to is helping someone find employment who needs it !!

Promed staffing is a staffing agency for nurses and they pay only depended on where/what / and which shift you would be working at whichever facility you were staffed to. The job is so amazing, but management and everyone in that office is horrible. Their attitudes are horrible on a daily basis and all they do is gossip about all the workers. This company isn’t what it used to be 2-3 years ago.

Pick own hours. daily pay.  Local work. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not enough pay. Favoritism  among workers 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Did not cover workers back when problems.  No training for new nurses.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Worked in field. Long hours and dealing with  different vendors  on your own.

Overjoyed to have an agency so equipped, right in the palm of my hands. Attentive to me from the moment I made my first call. Helped me pull all my paperwork together in a matter of hours, just so that I could interview within the week. The call back time was immediate and the emails were prompt. I know that I can rely on them as I excel in my career for another quick start somewhere. 

Small business. Owner and staff polite. Contract 1099 work only.  Previously owned and operated by someone else.  I was a present employee before new owners took over. Transition was easy. Have been working for this company for quite some time now. Has been very supportive of my role in transitioning from LPN to RN work at various facilities around Louisiana.  Good people to work for.

The housing was horrible. Moldly bathrooms and kitchen. We stayed in the basement in the line of a septic tank so it always smelled. Payroll messed up my check a lot and did not pay me properly. I had to make several attempts to resolve the issue.

Was able to work for several insurance agencies and a hospital. Was a quick learner and had the opportunity to work in the Biomedical Engineering department at NY Presbyterian hospital. Had the opportunity to enter insurance codes, file paperwork and update Doctor information.

I had good co workers and there wasn't really much that was hard about my work it was pretty straight forward and I enjoyed seeing the  smile's on the patient's face's

Promed is a very fast paced organization, I have learned you are always learning something new. management staff is very hands on.  The working environment is very harmonious. The hardest part of the job is not being there full time, the most enjoyable part of the job being able to assist others.
