Prospective employees are advised to think twice before joining Prolink Healthcare Staffing. The restrictive management practices overshadow any potential benefits the company may offer, making it an unfavorable choice for those seeking a positive and growth-oriented work environment. In sum, the pervasive micromanagement and lack of employee empowerment make Prolink Healthcare Staffing a regrettable workplace choice.


I worked for Prolink for 2.5 years, first as a healthcare recruiter, then as a healthcare client relationship manager (account manager). I enjoyed working for Prolink mainly because of the remote work environment and income potential. I also really enjoyed my team and my management. 

However, the healthcare staffing market is not in a great place, and as a result, Prolink did large layoffs in January 2024. Hospitals spent a ton of money during COVID, and are now trying to claw as much of that money back as possible. This has resulted in less money for everyone all-around (staffing companies, healthcare contractors, and adjacent roles). 

I hope the market can rebound, because Prolink is a good company that is capable of great things when the money is there. Right now, I think it is just tough for any staffing provider in the healthcare market. 

My mornings started at 5 a.m to make sure all the temporary employees got clocked in and there on time. My day would really contain making sure all the shifts were not in need of anything and concentrating on their work. I have learned and had first hand experience in my accounting major and working with payrolls. The hardest part might have been when someone would be missing work or terminated an employee. And I really enjoyed all the different personalities of people.

I would not recommend unless you like being micromanaged and in my opinion treated unfairly for things beyond your control. In my opinion not a very good work culture there’s absolutely no room for growth or moving up there, and there’s no paid holidays like you would typically get  except Christmas thanksgiving and new years so 3 total. Do yourself a favor there’s much better options out there!

The coordinator and recruiters are the worst at communicatiion

The hospital and people are great in Maui

At the facility it’s a low stress environment

I loved working here. I supervised 50+ employees in an automotive plant on a daily basis. I also conducted interviews for new hires where necessary. It was a great place where I had excellent relationships with the employees and played a key role in new employment opportunities for all new employees.

It's entry-level recruiting. You'll pound the phones 10-hours per day, every day. You'll learn high-level recruiting strategies and you'll be developed as a professional. However, you will put in long hours and make very little, if any, commission. But, again, it will give you the experience you need to make it to the next level.

Very good job for anyone willing to do contract work. Excellent compensation, benefits were okay. Recruiters are nice, mine was amazing but i’ve heard it can vary depending on who your recruiter is. You also can have excellent work/life balance due to the contractual nature of the work.
