If you are hired for A position you *will* be stretched to take on multiple. 
PHMC stretches it's employees to the MAX for nonprofit pay. 
Promotions don't exist. Even if you are a top performing employee you will get little reward for it- only more work and responsibility. 
Managing Directors vary- I've seen the best and I've definitely seen the worst.
Pressure can be exhausting and defeating most days- for everyone! This stress trickles down into all of the staff- and expectations will continue to increase as deadlines are always cut really really close!
The benefit of working for PHMC is the new location is pretty neat and a modern space. 
I do have to say I've learned a lot working here but I'm interested in exploring other organizations.

PHMC is an excellent place to work,  Some people have worked there for up to 38 years since the inception of the corporation.A culture of love and collaboration. The benefits are excellent, medical, dental and stress counseling. There are gyms for stretching, aerobics and strength trainings. Parking is difficult and casemanagements took us to family's home even during inclement weather. There is incentive for high producers.

Helping people in needed all over the city.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Responding to multiple building needs and requests

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This is a very team orientated place to work, where multiple depts work together to get projects done. Culture is very strong on team building and communication.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very fast paced.  Lots of meetings with vendors, designers and site directors.

Fast-Paced- Allowed employees quick breaks to take a breather and get some fresh air. Get employees outside their comfort zones with new projects and responsibilities that were given.

Teamwork- Set goals that leverage each individual's skills to accomplish a collective objective. Allow employees to submit honest feedback to each other. Coach them on how to humbly accept and act on that feedback. Clarify roles to ensure each team member clearly understands their role.

I thought that PHMC had social morales that were consistent with my own values. I was wrong!! Trauma-informed, no! Respect for Diversity issues, no!! Did the ex-Wordsworth BHRS Program fulfill their promises? Clinical Supervisor never provided supervision and is rarely available to support staff.

It was a Program called(Girl Space), It was a home for adolescent young ladies 12-18years old  who were physically and mentally abused, I started off in housekeeping move into dietary soon after assistant Counselor, with that, I also became a Hygiene Teacher 
The Energy varied there highs and lows and we did all we could until the funds ran out, the year MJ died we said goodbye

Meet with 50 participants in the field at their assigned Intensive out-patient treatment site and work on recovery goals. Contact probation officer and report UDS samples, and attendance. Great co-workers! Management could be a little better and more supportive.

The staff at PHMC is really great and I have enjoyed working on numerous projects on the research evaluation and programming teams. I feel like I have learned many new skills and techniques. There are some management issues which make it hard to carry out the programs successfully.

Hard place to work , low wages, poor management, I'm convinced that they don't care about their employees.  You have to ask around to find out how to do your job Management staff will not train you on how to do your work.

It was great place to work.They monthly meetings within the building and quarterly meetings to assure that you stayed updated on what was going with the company. They always did things show that they appreciated you as a worker.
