What is the best part of working at the company?
Decent benefits including health insurance, PTO, Holiday Pay, 401k with marginal match. Quva has strong potential and employs many hardworking, knowledgeable individuals who genuinely care about doing quality work. Many employees are committed, reliable, and willing to go above and beyond when given support and fair opportunity. The work itself can be engaging and meaningful.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unfair promotional practices. Dedication  and accountability take a back seat to favoritism and nepotism.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The organization appears top-heavy, with too many layers of leadership and not enough emphasis on frontline execution. There is poor alignment between quality expectations and production demands, which creates ongoing tension and inefficiency. Advancement opportunities feel inconsistent and opaque; favoritism and nepotism are ongoing concerns, with supervisors permitted to promote close associates rather than objectively rewarding performance, reliability, and dedication. As a result, some of the most dependable and hardest-working employees are routinely overlooked.

There are also concerns regarding integrity within site management. Interactions often feel performative rather than genuine, particularly during corporate visits, where messaging appears carefully curated to present a favorable image rather than reflect day-to-day realities. This lack of authenticity erodes trust and contributes to low morale among employees who see a disconnect between what is said and what actually occurs.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Unpredictable workload based on what departments are ahead and what departments are behind.

I have been at QuVa for a long time.
They say they promote from within but that is not really true. It doesn't happen often.
There is obvious favoritism and nepotism. There is never a slow day, its very fast-paced and can be very stressful at times. It does not seem like a "Pharma" company, it feels more like a factory. The are lacking in training, coaching and development and there are no annual reviews. The management is very oblivious as to what is going on in the production area and always blames the operators especially QA when things go wrong. It is not fair. They pay 12-14/hr. for production and expect a whole lot. The days are long 10-12 hour days. VP is like "my way or the high way" we basically feel scared. My Manager is nice but probably won't have my back. A lot of competition among departments and many -almost daily cat fights among the workers. Working in tight quarters does not help. General feeling is that you get no thank you for doing something right but watch out if you make a mistake. You will get fired. We need to be on top of our game yet it is always about quantity over quality. My personal feeling is that they don't really care about you as a person. The hardest part of the day is the afternoon after lunch we slow down. The most enjoyable part is working among my friends although several have left thhe company which is dissapointing. Everytime we get new employees our production is slowed way down.

Quva is a great place to work because of the people who work there and the high quality of products produced. However, after being hired, Quva has continued to fail to adequately adjust compensation to remain competitive and ultimately this makes retaining talent a constant struggle (especially for the sales team). #Revolvingdoor. 

Working here, I struggle to make ends meet due to low compensation despite my 5 years of service. i still have the same title, and now have a smaller sales territory than when I started for no reason and ironically the person who authorized the new territory divisions has since been let go …. I only make $2k more than when I was hired after 5 years of hard work and company loyalty… 

i have received multiple offers for more than $15k above my current Quva salary with more lucrative commission plans to boot for the past 3 years from others in the industry. 

I have chosen to stick with Quva because i love the people here and the products we sell and initially was sure HR/Compensation Leadership would eventually come around and realize long term employee compensation should be more aggressively evaluated and adjusted.  

So far nothing has changed - i hope I can keep working here but it is getting tougher and tougher due to pay not being adjusted adequately especially given the rising costs of living etc.

Bottom Line:  Great company but beware of the lack of advancement /low pay compared to others in the market. 

This is a company that has a lot of people with impressive backgrounds (chemists, researchers, and educators) but that talent is all but wasted. Once you're in a certain department it's all but impossible to move or advance. Our ideas to try and be proactive before issues occur are all but ignored. Of course, the company has a panic driven response after something does happen.

There's a huge turnover at all levels. I have worked for several companies over the years, but never witnessed so many managers and directors come and go since working at QuVa. They are supposed to "fix" problems but aren't truly given the power to do so. It isn't long until they are shown the door after just a few months when they can't make everything perfect for a condescending, micromanaging CEO. Good ones leave because it isn't long before they see the writing on the wall.

Decisions for changes are made without considering how it affects other departments. There's little communication or coordination. There has been an effort to improve communication to a degree, but it's likely to fall back on old patterns.

Lastly, there is a major lack of proper training, continuous education, and no employee evaluations. Many people were hired as "bodies" to get the product out the door, but a lot of these people have never worked in a pharmaceutical or Healthcare environment previously and have no concept of why aseptic techniques are important. They have been taught how to do the job, but not the "why's."

Pros 
-this job offers a lot of overtime,I was able to save a lot of money over a short period of time. 
-the work is very Easy,If you can do repetitive task for long periods of time this job would be good for you.
-if you have an issue the supervisors respond very quickly and will find a solution.
-they take COVID very seriously,They require mask and do temp checks at the door.They also encourage you to get the vaccine but don’t force you to.
Cons
-the biggest con of this job is the drama,People verbally fight and gossip frequently but that happens at any job so it’s to be expected 
-The management here is not up to par,The team leads lack communication skills.They often say one thing then change it up and say something else moments later.
-often times you get more work then you can handle,9/10 you are working till the last Minute of your shift and probably staying over to finish what they gave you 30 mins before clock out 
-lunch Is only 30 mins when we are swamped with work and tired that 30 mins feels like 10 by the time it’s time to sit down its time to go back to work.
Should you work here 
Overall this job is very easy,The people you work with really make or break the job.You don’t get much opportunity to climb the corporate ladder at this company until you spend a significant amount of time at one position.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is no such thing as best part working@ Quva. It's the worst job ever...If you feel as though you would like to return to high, well here is your opportunity,  it's a bunch of young childish people who are not up keeping policies and procedures, it's frustrating when you are trying to be productive and everyone is playing around and not taking the job seriously. Alot of favoritism only way you move up is if your liked. Company is going down the drain. And the sad thing is it's a pharmaceutical company the way things are handled if I'm in the hospital and see Quva on a IV bag, I rather my life be taken cause nothing is done correctly in here.

Everything, there is no guidance, no one cares respectfully about the job

Favouritism, it's not about your work ethic it's about who likes you in order to grow in this company. Hard working people are overlooked.

A big high school, profanity is the number language, no respect,  no morals

QuVa only care about the money not their workers.
Literally they will easily replace you, or just fire you and have someone else pick up your old job functions upon their additional duties without the extra pay or thanks.  
There is ABSOLUTELY NO APPRECIATION, for lower level employees. 

Also QA and Labeling and production are paid with same pay scale at entry.  

Go to another company stay away from here,  the CEO and C  suite and others DO NOT, value their employees.  The culture is horrendous, there is mo culture at all, no employee support.  Nothing to engage and encourage employees to grow and want to come to work every day.   Don’t listen to the everyday workers when they communicate, mgmt likes to say people don’t communicate but they do.  They just don’t listen unless it’s about numbers. 
They chase away those who care and are passionate about health care.   There isn’t much job security.  

I worked there for a little under 6 months as a Supply Chain Technician in ILP. Simply don't work here. You will be overworked and under-appreciated. I was told at the beginning of my employment that i would never see a weekend and overtime was "available." I come to find out that there is a mandatory 6-10 hours of OT weekly and that number varies and is up to the discretion of people who dont even work on the floor. As well as mandatory Saturdays. The managers and leads treated us like dogs and refused to understand our struggles as workers, while also undermining the work that we were doing. They would do this while also asking us to give up time in our personal lives by forcing us to stay an extra two hours every day depending on if our task was completed or not. DO. NOT. WORK. HERE.

This company has down graded itself over the last 3 years. The culture is awful, the management are only in it for themselves, and they work you like a dog. If you want to make decent money this is a good place to work, but if you want a good work/life balance or a low stress environment then this is not the place for you. Be careful who you speak to because the snakes are on the floor and they will do anything they can to advance themselves. This company boasts it cares about its employees, but all they really care about is their bottom line and will run their workers into the ground as long as it means they will meet their quotas. Their off the record philosophy to their employees is “there are always replacements”. Be careful when working her, you’ve been warned.
