Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing

I work amongst a great group of individuals at Quantum. Our business is separate from the competition for a variety of reasons. Our Recreational department is one of a kind. Through these tough times, it's nice to see the smiles that this department brings to each of the residents. This energetic bunch knows how to spark up some fun and entertainment amongst the residents and staff. Our caring Social Services department is always ready to help the residents and families cope with issues they are facing to improve the resident's lives. The Rehabilitation department is unique. They have been phenomenal at producing great results for safe discharges of residents back into the community. I enjoy working amongst the caring and compassionate Nursing staff along with ALL the individuals who make caring for these residents a priority. 

I worked here to make a difference, and left feeling bad for the residents more than anything. Such a terrible ran nursing home! No room for advancement for employees, they one move around those who can’t do their job correctly! Management don’t take responsibility for anything! Often residents complain, but no one listens. Reviews on website are all fraudulent. Residents are fooled into coming here because they promise these beautiful rooms, but in reality, after arriving and going up the elevator you see rooms are beyond dated! They brag about the food, but it’s the same food just rotated. Wish I could’ve bared staying longer for the residents, but felt smothered working for such a awful place!  

Since my journey began aboard the Quantum ship I have been grateful for the opportunity to share my career skills with a growing prosperous crew.  It was not smooth sailing from the beginning, however,  as we progress and stand strong together it is building into something grand.  It is absolutely a pleasure to be part of this growing facility.  We have overcome rough waters and strong storms together through the COVID -19 pandemic and I am willing to continue to test the waters through and through with this crew on my side!

Employees are like family and work together as a team

Working with Covid patients and patience with brain injury

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is very comfortable.  The facility is culturally competitive for both its employees and residents 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I am the nurse educator, so I get in check my emails, make rounds up on the floor, and get ready for our first meeting of the day

This facility is a hidden gem, that continues to excel in its mission. The team of professionals that I work with are qualified, passionate, professional and caring for the residents, families and each other.  There is a culture here that combines quality work and productivity with a positive and energetic vibe.  There is continued learning and dedication in raising awareness for our specialty programs. Management is very supportive and shows their appreciation. I am beyond grateful and proud to work for Quantum.

It wasn’t that stressful  at all don’t have any issues

The work culture was fine with me doesn’t have a problem with the environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The day are always good I enjoyed working with my other peers

Higher ups are unprofessional . Bully environment .  Always short staffed . High turn over rate . Doesn't follow proper infection control protocols .  Uncomfortable work environment.  If you are sick or have any emergencies they will make you feel bad for not being able to come in . If you are a parent they do not care if emergencies happen . Overall terrible experience. From myself and many other nurses and aides . 

Quantum rehab and care center is a great productive and fun wokplace .working here has given me expieriance and has taught me things that also make me a better person overall  for example time management, responsibility and organization. I enjoyed working with my coworkers seeing patients and  working BBQs during the summer ...working here as helped me to grow and has opened me to more opportunities .

Unfair management, minimum communication, no daily report on residents, constant schedule errors, consecutive payroll issues, & if you not liked for whatever reason you will bite the bullet for it. Too much favoritism, I personally had to involve the union more then I thought I would with my time working there. Nasty behaviors between coworkers & management.

They don’t care about you or the residents 🤷🏽‍♀️ if you have to leave for an emergency or can’t come in they’ll give you h*ll about it and try to make you make up the shift. They like to “ intimidate “ you and make you feel on edge about your job security. CONSTANTLY understaffed but they will make you feel like you’re the reason the staffing/scheduling is messed up.
