Hours were Thursday thru Saturday 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm and Sunday 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. I loved the customers and my co-workers, but my boss was something else. He was rude and loud. He is the only person I have ever worked with or for that I have ever had problems with. It was my job duty to keep tables clean, drinks refilled, and the buffet full. I also took phone orders, washed dishes, and took special orders out. The best part of this job was defiantly the regular customers. I grew attached to so many people. The tips were great.

I have good times and bad times but you must make the best out of your time. Customer have attitudes for no reason at all it’s up to us to deal with them in a professional manner. When we stay positive this will probably change their attitudes towards the employees. Prepare yourself for the good and the bad. Be safe at all times.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with the upper management, they don’t know how to listen and take advice that can do better day drivers or make it easier on them

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Doing your route, which is driving and then coming back sorting

Recent decision to outsource our department rather than maintain the relationship built over 40 years with our member libraries.

It is difficult to be objective when 12 staff are about to be unemployed. Many more similar outsourcings are planned over the next 2 years which has a negative impact on company morale for everyone.

Brand new restaurant in a historical building. Involved in total renovatuon of building, ourchasibg all equipment,  hiring employees and all day to day operations.

The management is very understanding and tries to work with you when you need days off for personal reasons.  They all care about you and make you feel like part of the team.

can be a little confusing at first, but i liked how i came to work, loaded my materials, delivered, got back unloaded, ad then clocked out...bing,bang,boom, day is over

The most wonderful co-workers but some lack of communication from corporate. Very good perks like generous discounts, bonuses, and free Items! The customers are also fun.

Thoroughly enjoyed driving and delivering for RAILS. The pay is low but the benefits are good. Good people to work for and with. Enjoyed the freedom of my route.

It is nice company and can learn a lot. People in the company are very friendly and helpful. It has been a great experience working at Rails. Recommended for others.
