The store is usually empty. You more than likely won’t meet any goals bc there are no customers. The management team are l o s e r s with no education or professionalism to speak of. Just retail lifers who will boast abt being in a job for dang near a DECADE w little to no advancement. If retail experience is all you have to offer, this is a great place to work.  If you happen to have a degree and retail experience, I still would not recommend. Keep in mind, this is an environment of small minded, unaccomplished individuals(mgmt team). This store is their life. Proceed w caution, especially if soulaani. 

I have 10+ years working in retail and this is the CHEAPEST company I have ever worked for. Never got anything free I was promised. They had an employee sale(70% off the entire store) but the sale started less than a week before payday and ended the day before pay day.  

Also, they make you study from their work app. You must complete modules by expected dates. Some as short as two minutes some as long as 40 minutes. The SoHo location has no food around and you only get a childish 30 minutes for a lunch. Not to mention, they will monitor you on your break to make sure you’re not doing anything unapproved by the company.  

Job tasks are simple. Once you learn the CRM and gain some hands on experience, the work is easy, albeit repetitive. Just keep up to date with product knowledge, and learn how to sell to the different types of customers. Depending on if you have or dont have an optician on site, it may also be beneficial to learn the basics about prescription lenses (taking measurements, processing orders, etc) The people (coworkers) are great, at least my team is; they are what really makes the job an overall positive experience. Downsides
would be the schedule, having to work weekends isn’t great. And getting micro managed when the store is not doing so hot is annoying too. Other than that, it’s truly not a bad job and I would reccomend.

I enjoyed working at Ray-Ban because it helped me strengthen my customer service, communication, and sales skills in a fast-paced environment. I appreciated the team atmosphere and the experience I gained working with customers daily. However, the store was often understaffed, which created a very heavy workload and made it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience that helped me grow professionally.

Regional manager was awful! Lied, tried to turn employees against each other; never visited  the store but watched staff on cameras all day; fake; rude; biased      Parking was a nightmare.   Work every holiday and weekend.  Commission hard to reach goal and was a very small amount.  If you’re an optician you are not valued or respected for your license, knowledge or experience and are expected to perform high sales with no tools of the trade or marketing for RX availability.  Terrible experience.

Ray Ban brick and mortars have been around for 3 years and are owned by Luxottica. They offer full prescription sunglasses as well as optical. They are an iconic brand that is the #11 most recognized brand worldwide. I learned a lot about optical repair and adjustments while working here. The best part of working here was having a great time with my customers while styling them.

I had a mixed experience working with Ray-Ban depending on your manager makes a huge difference to work-life balance and efficiency. I didn’t feel very supported when I was going through health and personal issues and with not enough staff most full-time employees have to work many days in a row. I often had to work 10 days In a row which caused me to burn out. 

Management sucked about 80% of the time. Had a horrible manger that they turned a blind eye about even when HR was notified. If you have a good team its great but watch out because if not things go hostile and toxic very quickly. It was so bad and had extreme anxiety about going to work. 

I would have worked there until I retired!  It was a great place to work, great management.  I was pain to obtain my MBA at Our Lady of the Lake University.  This company helped me to grow and also be come "smarter."

Ray Ban was a great Company to work for always enjoyed my time working there . I held several positions while working there ,The people I worked around were not only Co Workers but also friends .
