Recovery Monitoring Solutions Corporation

RMS is formally RMOMS. I was employed as a case manager/probation officer with RMOMS for many years. Case managers made $14 an hour  (paycheck every two weeks was $900) while I was there. The ability to make more money? No. The amount of work is absurd, and it is impossible to do a good job, and actually help people when they needed help with their probation requirements. I had a case load of 250 people. The company is always understaffed and case managers are often forced to work at different locations to help cover. For many months I had to work at a different office 2 days a week, but my current workload at my main office stayed that same. So everything I was doing in 5 days, was reduced to 3 days. Case Managers are taught to not give the probationers  2nd chances, and it was obvious that sending a client back to court was easier than working with them and trying to ACTUALLY do owe job. I asked my supervisor for help at least 5 times in the span of 4 months and received no help. I asked if I could work overtime to try and catch up and I was usually denied, and if I wasn't I was only approved 1 hour of overtime. Also, the turnover rate for this company is insane. In a single year, I saw the same position in my office go through 4 different case managers.
I wish this company was different because I actually enjoyed the job, and working as a Probation Officer, but the large caseloads, unreasonable expectations, and extremely low pay made this job unpracticed and unbearable. 



It was pretty nice working there, Management was good sometimes and absolutely horrible other times. Working at Recovery Monitoring Solutions had its ups and downs, but overall, it was a unique and fast-paced experience. The environment was professional yet engaging, with a team dedicated to helping clients navigate their legal requirements. The job itself felt meaningful, knowing that the work contributed to rehabilitation and accountability. The facility was well-organized, and the technology used made tasks efficient. Some of the managers were supportive and approachable, creating a positive atmosphere where teamwork was encouraged. When things were running smoothly, the days passed quickly, and there was always something to keep you busy, making it a solid place to gain experience in the field.

However, the job could be physically demanding, with long hours spent constantly on your feet. While some managers were great, others could push employees hard, sometimes leading to burnout. The workload could pile up quickly, and with the fast-paced nature of the job, breaks were often short or rushed. Despite these challenges, working there provided valuable experience in handling responsibility, staying organized, and maintaining professionalism under pressure. If you could handle the physical demands and fast-paced nature of the job, it could be a rewarding place to work, especially for those interested in gaining experience in monitoring.



An at-will, barly above minimum wage job. Good benefits however not paid enough to afford said benefits. 

There is an issue with leadership in the company making work extraordinary frustrating at times. 

As an at-will employee there is little to no job security even though there will always be a need for the service. 

There are anual performance based reviews with a potential raise, max of 50 cents, however this is meaningless when leadership is poor and reviews are barely applicable or sent via email without any actual communication or criticism.

Company's leadership tends to values seniority over performance, so if you take the position do the bare minimum.

Within the company no two employees seem to be on the same page with is troubling as the job requires consistency if nothing else.
The most disquieting thing about the job is that the position feels extraordinarly dead end. 


I worked for RMS in their Westminster, CO location in HR. Unfortunately the position ended up being eliminated three months after I got there due to unforseen circumstances with state reallocation of funding the company could not control. I was seriously unhappy because I absolutely loved working for them. Everyone I worked with communicated well, were very inclusive, and respectful. The HR Manager for the Colorado operation is a jewel, and works very hard to promote a good work culture. When called upon to work with employee issues she is fair and transparent, and is very collaborative in her work style which made my job very pleasant. RMS is interested in making this kind of work environment as good as possible and will work with anyone willing to do their part.

Working at RMS in the GPS Monitoring department is fast-paced and detail-heavy. A typical day includes reviewing violations, verifying locations, documenting case notes, and communicating with officers. I’ve learned how to manage high caseloads, stay organized under pressure, and maintain accuracy with sensitive information. Management provides structure and expectations, and the workplace culture is focused on accountability and teamwork. The hardest part of the job is balancing urgent violations with daily tasks, but the most enjoyable part is knowing the work directly contributes to community safety and helping people stay compliant. It’s a role that constantly pushes growth, discipline, and confidence.


Recovery Monitoring Solutions was a great place to work for. It gave me experience and helped me grow to allow me to move on to another opportunity. 
Great work/life balance, however, low compensation and benefits compared to the competitive market. High turnover rate which can lead to high stress for certain departments. Although, during non-peak times, the environment can be relaxed. 
The technology is a little behind. Still use paper for many things. Automation would be a huge plus and would save time to employees. Instead, clerical duties need to be performed on top of the duties assigned. 
In conclusion, I would recommend Recovery Monitoring Solutions for those starting their career and needing to build their resume. However, I do not think it is a long-term career. 



This company is very unorganized the management is lacking in communication the Head OF HR is a disrespectful person who talks down on people and seems to be very incompetent she sides always with management if you ever have a complaint don’t go to her she will just ignore it they don’t acknowledge hard working employees but they are quick to put you in your place if you mess up there’s no protection from irrationally/verbal abusive clients . They can’t keep employees in any area of the business because there over worked and underpaid I wouldn’t apply here if I where you I worked for RMOMS/1st ALLIANCE Then CORECIVIC AND NOW RMS and by far this is THE WORST COMPANY YET I GIVE THEM A THUMBS DOWN👎🏼All THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!

RMS has allowed me to have a great work/life balance, which is what I was seeking. I love my job and feel satisfied working here. The benefits are awesome, especially the paid holidays. RMS has more paid holidays off than most companies I've worked for and they even give you your birthday off! The company is growing like crazy, which makes me feel secure in my position. Management could be groomed a little better in order to properly manage their employees, but overall I'm confident in the senior leadership and executives here at RMS. The culture is great in the headquarters office and I'm hoping that will begin to rub off on all other offices as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with working at Recovery! I love my job, which is something I've never ever been able to say.

Recovery monitoring Solutions has developed to be an unproductive, unprofessional and biased work environment. Management has shown lack of respect, unprofessionalism, lack of appreciation towards staff members. During the most critical time in life, there was no regard for staff safety. when staff went above and beyond the distasteful appreciation shown was humiliating. Recovery Monitoring Solutions give more work to be completed than the amount of pay to compensate their employees. The work environment was uncomfortable to say the least. I recommend a revamp in management as well as employees.

This company does not look into the best interest of their existing employees.  I was promised a raise at the end the new employees were making more money than me. The amount I was asking for is the same pay they started these new employees at. The job is easy it can be overwhelming at times and unpredictable, some days it's busy and some days it's not.  The only good thing is the company buys us lunch once a month. If you are looking for a job where there's advancement this is not the place, pay sucks, and management is incompetent.  No structure!!
